Dave's mouth just hung open.

He couldn't believe that she was gone.

He gets up and tries to leave the hole.

Once he gets out he goes into his house, locks the door, and begins his drunken downwards spiral since he has no Clarissa.
This will probably go on for a few weeks, you should all probably tune in sometime during February.

A teeny-tiny fraction of a second less than an hour after Clarissa "dies", Dave might hear a noise which closely resembles a certain someone's panicked shouting outside as she plummets out of the heavens above!

Poor, poor Clarissa! Why'd she have to perish? I hear her screaming even now!

"-aaaahhhhhhhh!!!"

It sounds as though she is drawing closer with each passing second.

Hey! Wow! Did an asteroid just crash into a snow bank outside or something?

Dave should probably go check that out at the first available opportunity. Might have only been a Santa Claus wannabe falling off of the roof, but it'd be best to check anyway! Better safe than sorry and all that nonsense!

A barely tipsy Dave comes rushing out of his house!
Barely tipsy because he has a resistance to it like a dwarf, not because he hasn't drank much within an hour.
"Damn kids! I'm trying to drink away the misery of losing someone in PEACE!"
He rushes over to the snowball and tries to yank the person out of it.
"Do you KNOW how HARD it is to get DRUNK over your YELLING?!"

Hey! I recognize that person! None other than Dave's spouse, the magical Clarissa herself, is plucked of the ball of snow!

She's wearing her angelic wings! There's a holy aura looping about her! Her body is definitely different. Three instances of cleavage are readily apparent as is. I'm going to leave it at that.

Clarissa is also entirely indecent and frozen solid (encased in ice) at this time!

Clarissa indisputably took the whole "let's make a snow angel" scheme to the next level!

Dave's eyes go wiiiiiiiiiiiiide as he sees who it is.
"...Clarissa?"
And then realizes that she's frozen!
"Holy heart attacks! You're frozen!"
Yes, I do believe I just said that.
"I must MAKE you WARM again!"
What's going on with your speech Dave?
Oh, wait, it's cause he's worried.
He tries to cradle her in his arms and run inside the house, light all of the fireplaces, and place her in front of the one in the living room to thaw her out!

Gee! This is sure taking a while! Can't Clarissa melt any faster!

Ten minutes later...

Clarissa has thawed! She is still completely unconscious, though...

Dave, after making sure she's warm, runs into the kitchen and puts ice cubes into a bucket.
He then filled the bucket with water.
He then tries to dump said bucket onto Claissa's chest, hoping it will shock her awake.

Ice water! Pouring! Body! Augh!

Clarissa's eyes explode open when water is applied to her torso! She shrieks and begins swatting the ice cubes covering her vigorously! Eek! Cold! The water is cold! She can feel it through the overwhelming numbness that has setup shop all across her body!

Help! Help! The ice cubes are attacking! The ice cubes are attacking!

Dave runs off to get a towel and a down blanket.
He tries to get rid of the ice and then wrap Clarissa up in the warm down blanket.
"Ya! You're awake!"

Yay! The ice is gone! It wasn't very nice. It was cold and nasty. The ice even stung a tad!

And then, a warm down blanket! The blanket is nice and warm. Clarissa is thankful for it. She'll attempt to take it from Dave when it is wrapped about her so that she can cocoon herself inside of it!

She has no clue as to the current goings-on. What she does know is that this man is a good person for taking care of her and rescuing her from the freezing, inhospitable conditions of the environment outside. That deserves an appreciative smile! *Smile!*

Dave doesn't realize that.
He lets her take the blanket.
"I was afraid you'd gone and left me, Clarissa. Why do you look like an angel? I thought you hated that side."
He then facepalmed.
"Wait, you're naked. I'll go grab you some of your clothes for you."
He goes very quickly to get her a tanktop and pajama bottoms that he bought her a while ago.
And underwear, can't forget that.
He tries to hand them over, after cutting slits in them for her wings.
"You should probably put them on...it'll be more comfy."

Clothes? What are clothes? Those things? Those things aren't clothes! They're clearly fancy bags!

Clarissa stares blankly at the garments Dave is offering her in bewilderment. What is she supposed to do with those...thingies? She looks from the clothes to Dave and back to the clothes. Puzzlement is inscribed within her most basic features.

Those two slits in the back of the tank top must be giant if they can accommodate Clarissa's wings! Now back to the first question: What could that fabric be used for?

Clarissa hasn't spoken even once as of yet! Peculiar... Is she...nah...couldn't be... But what if... What if this Clarissa is mute?

Dave continuously holds out the clothes while waiting for a reply.
This probably goes on for 5 minutes before his smile turns into a frown.
"Oh god you must have amnesia. Crap."
He's freaking out.
"How will I ever get you to love me again? I'm way too boriiiiiiiiiiing!"
Dave! Look, you need to make sure she can talk!
"Speak! Say something!"

Clarissa tilts her head to the right and innocently gazes up at Dave with cute, wide, otherworldly blue eyes.

That is not a word, Clarissa. That is a question mark. You cannot say a question mark. No, I don't care how powerful you are, you must adhere to the conventions of the language you are endeavoring to-

Dave frowned.
"No, that isn't speaking, what you did just there is jumping saying a nothing-word. You can't say ?, nor (), or even ~."
Come to think of it, he didn't even know how he just said that.
And then he stared into her eyes.
Those beautiful blue eyes.
"Look, I don't know what happened but you said you'd be different for the season, I guess that must mean you'll be different during this Winter. Now, if you can actually speak, say an actual word or else I'm going to go and try to do a montage where I teach you the English language."

Why is that man moving his jaw up and down so much? It doesn't look like he is eating anything... Maybe he wants a hug?

Clarissa attempts to reach out and ensnare Dave's legs in a pleasant, gentle hug!

Then his legs are hugged!
He sighs and tries to crouch and pull her into a nice big hug.
"I swear I'll do everything in my power to get you back."

Well doesn't that beat all, him being the gentleman and doing all the heavy lifting for her. Of course, that doesn't stop her from attempting to fire off her mindswitch just a second later, misfiring wildly and possibly hitting Magtok and... hey when did Boo get there?

Oh this could either be very good, or very... Very bad.

It goes without saying that the swap between the two lovers should go off without a hitch, but what comes after that is anyone's guess.

"Aaaaagh! What the hell are you-"

Oh gods, what?!

First they fall over on top of him, then they make out on top of him, and now he's...what the hell is this?! Where did his body go?! Why does everything feel so floaty and ethereal? What's with his teeth?! He demands an explanation, dammit!

This is way floatier than Magtok's comfortable with! And if he's here, then...wait, who's in his body?!

"Julie's" eyes go wide as Eric moves into her body, and feels the things she would normally feel. And suddenly is very thankful he's holding Julie at the moment, even if it is his body. Her body? Whatever. We'll go with female pronouns. "You... you always feel like this?" she says, at once shocked by all this and wanting to bring Julie closer, "It's amazing!"

Dave should just be glad that he wasn't actually bereft when Clarissa exploded! He retained his companion and wife, even though his wife doesn't quite remember him at all.

Inside Clarissa's Mind: "What? Hey! What're you doing? More hugs! Amazing! I didn't think that I'd be able to get more hugs!"

You know what they say about how one thing leads to another...

Dave might find himself being kissed passionately by angel-Clarissa! The urge was overwhelming her! She couldn't get the notion out of her mind! She had to act! She had to!

She wants to have this man's babies! She doesn't know why, but that's not going to give her pause now is it?

Likewise, "Eric" seems somewhat dazed at the moment, a blank look in all of his eyes as he tries to take in all the new sensations of his new form. And the distinct lack of sensation he's feeling. One that up until now had been with him for almost his entire life.

"This... It's like everything is in sepia-tone here. I guess I didn't believe you when you said... Wow..."

"Magtok" blinks a few times, pokes his cybernetic arm, and grins madly.

Magtok tries to swat 'Magtok' in the back of the head. "HEY! That's my body! You don't get to poke it! Not with my own hand!"

Archer is quite happy to get pettings. Wow! Magtok smells like ant and sloth and death and monkeyshark and... =D

It's a smorgasbord of smells! Archer will be busy a while.

Sunny shakes her head. "I don't know how to do magic. It was Anna and Taul and Arla who enhanced you. I just helped to build you."

Blargh. How long is this dog going to be sniffing at him?! There's floating and such he's got to get back to! That, and having absolutely not even the faintest idea of where all these names Sunny is spouting originate from, or how in the world you turn a bike into...well, that.

"Assault bike? Certainly explains a lot."

Especially that little attack run in Inside. Maggy still hasn't forgotten about that, and hopes like crazy that nobody thinks him responsible for pulling that trick.

Stheno pads over to Sunny and nuzzles against her shin affectionately. "You're still Mother." She says with full conviction. Oddly enough, Carl doesn't seem bothered at all by how she acts.

"Don' worry bout me!"

Ermine spends some more time looking down at the city and then falls to her death. The tub is quickly hauled into the cargo hold of the air-ship. There are many crates filled with contraband, and quite a lot of classic pirate chests overflowing with gold and gems. Ermine hops out and starts loosening the knots. Some dangerous-looking crew-members loiter around, eying the newcomer with dangerous eyes (some of them only have one eye, though). The pirates are not sure what to make of Reinholdt, yet. Ermine is oblivious to this.

"Let's drag it to me cabin."

At this point, we can probably move this to the Home thread under [Crimson Tempest], as the ship will quickly move out of Remnant skies.

Reinholdt takes a curious look around, sometimes jealous, sometimes nervous. He most certainly does not look like a tough pirate, with his skin and eye colouration, though perhaps a tough customer with his choice of anti-zombie clothing and weapon.

"You've sure gotten a lot of loot as of late." Reinholdt says, waiting to follow Ermine to her cabin. Tying ropes is one thing, but lifting heavy tubs is another.

"Aye. It's tha flyin' ship. As I said, no one expects it in places where dere ain't much technology 'r magics. I rule tha skies!"

She's a big cheater. Ermine gestures for one of the larger pirates to help them drag the tub. He seems to be from her world, with an otter's ears and tail if Reinholdt is any expert on mustelids.

Anyway, the tub will be dragged off to the captains cabin. Ermine orders some more of her crew to fetch some rum, a lot of rum.

"They usually wouldn't 'ave some'un like me orderin' em around, but I'm tha one who brought tha flyin' ship. I've made em rich men!"

"Really? Why not? You seem like a great captain to me. Aren't some of them from your old world?" Silly Reinholdt, that's exactly why they wouldn't let her be captain.

"I will be surprised if you have enough rum on this ship for this though." A ship full of pirates no less. Must be that infinite rum mug. Yeah, that's it. Heck, that's how I'd hire a crew. Infinite booze.

"Arr... I might not be tha best o' captains. I mean... I can't even read! Yeah. I am a woman, too. Some o' these folks think it's bad luck 'avin' a lady on board." <.<

Ermine, of course, doesn't address the real reason, which is that she's simply not a very good captain. But she's a bad captain with a flying ship and some magic items, though!

"Oh, don' worry about the rum. We got barrels and barrels o' it in another hold. Did I ever tell ye about dat bottle o' never endin' rum I had? Aye, I fink I might've gottin' it some holiday an' den forgotten about it after, arr, drinkin' way too much. Found it recently lying around in me hat, so its supplyin' endless rum to da ship's crew right now."

She doesn't have it for personal use, unfortunately. It's also quite possible that I've completely forgotten about it until you reminded me.

Drinking something so much that she forgot what she was drinking is such an Ermine move.

"Well, they're just silly. But that sounds like some good luck to me." Reinholdt admits. "So let's see this cabin."

Completely.

"Good luck, eh? Arr, I bet ye do."

Ermine leads Reinholdt into her cabin! It's a lovely cabin, with lots of silk and fine wooden furniture. Quite high class, though not at the level of royalty or anything extremely extravagant. Still, Ermine looks a little embarrassed about the wealth present the room.

"It was, arr, already furnished like dis when I stole tha ship."

The tub gets placed on an empty place on the floor. Some other pirates come in holding barrels of rum.

"Lets get dis tub filled up!"

The pirates exchange glances. Ermine's a strange captain as well as a mediocre one.

"Of course." >>
Reinholdt says with shifty eyes.

"Wow, this place is really nice." He says, taking a look around.

Reinholdt watches the pirates. They'd better get to work!

Eric, inspired by the new will to do things that she's found in Julie's body will... begin dragging Julie off towards the bedroom. Contrary to what might be thought, this is mostly to avoid Magtok and Boo. Honestly, she's too enthralled by the situation to even think about stopping their potential fight.

"Do you always feel like this? it's like I want to feel all the joy I can at once. and make you a better person, as much as I can. I have the will to do that! I want to! That's almost never happened to me before!"
