Tinseltwig grins and reaches to caress his face gently. "I love you." She never doubted that he was perfect for her for a minute, and nothing makes her happier than hearing that he chose to stay with her.

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

Admer smiles, and takes tinseltwig's hand, "I ah, I have to tell you something, Tin."

How best to approach this? Bluntness is the only thing he can think of, "I... don't actually love you. that said, I know you love me, and I'm willing to wait for my own love to come to us. Are you alright with that?"

[Fettina's Suite]

"Yeah," Evan says, "I'm the child of one of the inmates and one of the wardens. I was supposed to be raised there, and be a warden myself... but, well, that's the sort of life that doesn't appeal to me. It took a lot of work, but I got out of it."

He scratches the back of his head, "I think that was about... nine years ago now? Something like that."

Fettina's Suite

Tina has about a million more questions, but she decides to save them for another day. The... more fantastic qualities of the Nexus and it's various inhabitants still scratches at her brain sometimes.

The musician moves around Evan, beside and partially behind him, before draping her arms around his neck. Hopefully Evan doesn't mind cold hands. "So? What line of work does appeal to you?"

[Admer's Apartment]

Tinseltwig is silent for a long minute, but she does nod. "Okay. I'll just have to be the best wife I can be, and I just know we'll be happy together." She squeezes his hand and gives him a small smile.

Handwavium Foodium!

Dinner occurs. It is a magnificent feast, as any dinner cooked by a halfling should be. There's plenty of scrap metal teleported in from somewhere for Stheno, and lots of scraps for Archer.

Tech talk happens, between Sunny and her former boss, probably making Carl's eyes glaze over.

The stars come out and - holy boop, they're bright out here away from the city! Way more of them too. Of course, Magtok goes flying paddleboat riding through the skies of Outside, so he's not going to be as surprised and amazed by the stars as Sunny first was when she came here, after several years of barely even being out of doors at all.

Finally, it's time to say goodnight, thank Magtok for coming, and offer him a ride home on Stheno.

Talnissa's

Presumably Talnissa and Kara arrive here after not too long a time.

[Talnissa's]

Indeed they do, with Talnissa likely still carrying her girlfriend. 'Here' being a mid-size house on the other side of the Grey Zone from Kara's apartment.

Inside, there are a few chairs, and a couch, but most of the room is taken up by a table covered in wiring, gears, and other mechanical parts, as well as a few half completed projects. Said projects have their own areas, which are pretty much chaotic jumbles of stuff, but the rest of it is fairly well organized.

Kara has her arms around Talnissa to hang on, and looks around in interest.
"Looks like you were working on more than one thing at once," she observes with a smile.

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

Tinseltwig is silent for a long minute, but she does nod. "Okay. I'll just have to be the best wife I can be, and I just know we'll be happy together." She squeezes his hand and gives him a small smile.

[Admer's Apartment]

Admer smiles a bit, "I appreciate you willing to work with me on this, Tin."

[Gullara]

[Admer's Apartment]

The pixie goes to give him a brief kiss. "So, what about the familiar bond you were talking about before, anyway? I'm still wondering about that." An still rather liking the idea.

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

Admer facepalms, "Augh, I completely forgot to pick up the materials for that. We need a few things before we can do it."

[Gullara]

[Admer's Apartment]

"It's okay. We can get it later. What sort of stuff do you need?" The pixie asks curiously. This whole sort of magic is fairly new to her.

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

"Spell ink for one," he says, "Rosemary and some Taproot, and some bottles we can store the potions in until we drink them."

[Gullara]

[Admer's Apartment]

"Oh, okay." Tinseltwig knows what those are! Not that she has any on hand. "Tell me more about what will happen after we do that."

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

"Well, the way it works is fairly simple. We share a part of our souls to each other; trading a piece each, really. We'll always know where the other is, and as if magic is affecting one of us, we can let it affect the other as well." Admer scratches his chin, trying to remember if there's anything else.

[Gullara]

[Admer's Apartment]

"I like that. I couldn't imagine anything better than being so close to you. I can't wait." Tinseltwig grins at her fiance.

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

Admer grins at her smiling face, and moves to give her another kiss, potentially initiating more makeouts. He can't get enough, it seems.

[Gullara]

[Admer's Apartment]

Indeed. Well, Tinseltwig won't say no. She kisses him back just as enthusiastically as before, her hands working their way under his shirt. Once again she doesn't take it too far, however.

When they finish, the pixie lies her head on his chest and closes her eyes. She's feeling rather tired. "Love you, Addy." Thankfully there's still enough time on the shrinking magic for a night's sleep. Tinseltwig doesn't seem keen on moving.

[Halae]

[Admer's Apartment]

Admer just smiles as Tinseltwig falls asleep and quietly allows her to remain on top of him; he certainly doesn't mind her there. It takes him a while to get to sleep as well, as his body is used to blankets rather than women to be sleeping under, but it happens. Tinseltwig will likely be the first of the pair to wake up, as Admer has always been a heavy, and long, sleeper.

Kara has her arms around Talnissa to hang on, and looks around in interest.
"Looks like you were working on more than one thing at once," she observes with a smile.

[Talnissa's]

"Yeah, I was. I keep getting ideas for things, and dropping what I'm working on before I forget them."

[The Bushranger]

[Talnissa's]

"Love, you need a notebook," Kara says, completely seriously, but with a grin on her face.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Talnissa's]

"Quite true, s'saeta. I'll have to pick one up at some point."

[The Bushranger]

[Talnissa's]

"You can use some of mine."
Kara smiles, leaning in to give Talnissa a peck on the cheek.
Before pointing at one of the random jumbles. "What's that one?"

[Lady Serpentine]

[Talnissa's]

"Thanks."

The robot certainly doesn't prevent the peck on the cheek.

"That's a combat modification, designed to replace my right arm. Something like a shield and a rifle in one."

[The Bushranger]

[Talnissa's]

"Oooh, that sounds fascinating...maybe you could use something like a gunblade," Kara says with a grin.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Talnissa's]

"A gunblade? How does that work?"

[The Bushranger]

Talnissa

"Well, it's kinda complicated, but..."
And Kara launches into a description of the weapon.

[Talnissa's]

"I'll have to get one of those and take it apart..."

[Talnissa's]

Kara's smile grows a bit.
"I have one in storage."

[Lady Serpentine]

[Talnissa's]

Talnissa grins happily.

"Can we stop by there and pick it up once I've gotten some clothes?"
