Fettina's Suite

Well, no smells quite yet. Tina just finished putting a small batch of muffins in the oven. She straightens only to find a half-demon nibbling on her ear. The musician gives a start and giggles tinnily, putting her hands over Evan's. "Well good morning to you too."

Meh, he's out there anyways, "Well, food's being made, but I have to admit, I like the taste of dainty little elf ears," Evan says, grinning. It's a good way to wake up in the morning, for true.

Fettina's Suite

Tina laughs, a bit louder and longer. "What is it with you and these ears?" She turns her head to give him a sidelong look, eyes narrowed a little. "Not planning to eat me, are you?"

"Only if you want me to," he says, and his eyebrows waggle up and down.

He's going for over the top this morning, aparently

Staging Area - Probably on MagProperty Somewhere

Mainframe has had the proton pack incorporated into its chassis, making it Mainframebot:GhostbusterEdition. It's form seems to be built more for speed and flexibility than for strength, and it has a vaguely predatory look.

"I am ready." it says aloud, as well as transmitted through the MagNet.

Staging Area

After a short stop by Remnant, Edijar arrives, dressed in a Wraith Suit. It wasn't his preferred armor, but this was less symbolic, lacked the Remnant symbol, and still allowed him to see more spectra in case the ghost could shift to be invisible. He pulls on his own proton pack, but slung over his back is a long rifle of some sort, and at his waist is his standard hand cannon, holstered for now. "I'm ready." Edijar says, his voice barely a whisper through the suit's helmet.

"Only if you want me to," he says, and his eyebrows waggle up and down.

He's going for over the top this morning, aparently

Tina turns her head and purses her lips, seeming almost as wry. She smiles suggestively. "Where would you start?"

[Halae]

[Fettina's Suite]

"Any hunter knows to go for the neck first," he says, and moves to do just that, kissing her neck even as he continues to hold her.

Tina tilts her head slowly, sighing comfortably at the lips on her neck. She leans forward, holding the edge of the kitchen counter.

"Probly should've seen this coming. That's why you were cooking?" She asks without turning, obviously still joking. "Fattening me up?"

[Halae]

[Fettina's Suite]

"Oh, you've caught me," Evan says, smiling even as he continues to kiss her neck in between words, "A woman with a little something on her is much more... tasty than a scrawny little thing."

H's being honest here, even if he is still playing

"So you're saying I was scrawny?" She was, before the physical augments, but please don't be honest about that Evan. "...I feel like I should be offended." Tina closes her eyes, smiling to herself.

A cold wind blows and Michalson emerges from a nearby shadow. He's dressed in a more sturdy-looking robe than usual - shorter and less billowy as well.
I'm here. Boss says there's a veil-face... a ghost that is... we have to write into the dead-book.

Evan just grins, and will give her a kiss on the lips, before pulling away, "We should probably eat breakfast before getting too far with stuff like this. Have to keep our energy up, after all."

"Put me on speaker, Mainframe."

Magtok waits a moment, and then speaks again.

"Right, you all have your orders and you all know what needs to be done. From here on out you won't be hearing a peep from me, but rest assured, I'll still be watching every step of the way. Get going, and don't hold anything back."

With that questionably assuring assurance over with, Maggy's voice vanishes. Mainframe gets one last private message from the cyborg, though.

"Mainframe? I know it's little late to be changing up the plans, but would you mind leaving an 'M' on their bedsheets before you go? Preferably in gasoline, if you have any with you."

Ghostbusters >> Julie's Place

I can use flamethrower fuel. It is not gasoline, but is a petroleum based product. Mainframe tells Magtok mentally.

And the team heads out to Julie's apartment.

Julie's Place

The apartment is locked, of course, both at the door and the kitchen window. It's just a normal lock, so it shouldn't take much to force it open if they choose to do so.

The apartment is fairly bare, all of the knick-knacks and pictures removed from the walls and shelves, and everything out of the fridge and cupboards emptied out. Both closets are empty, the beds in the master and guest bedrooms stripped... The place looks as if it's ready for a new couple to move in. But it's definitely the right address.

They won't find anything but furniture until they reach the bathroom, which still has all of Julie's toiletries scattered about, as well as the mirror which caused Magtok so much trouble. There's also still a light covering of water on the floor.

Mainframebot switches to Ecto-goggle vision, looking for traces of the ghost.

Edijar switches his visor on when he enters. Instead of ecto-vision, it measures air densities. Without needing to be asked, he turns on his pack, getting it ready.

Julie's Place

The ecto-goggles reveal a high concentration of Boo's presence along every wall and piece of furniture. His essence permeates the entire apartment, and the traces are not very faded at all. The highest concentration is the mirror in the bathroom, which is a solid green sheet so bright it's almost white. The concentration there wavers and fluctuates ever so often.

Edijar's density readings don't find anything abnormal. There are a few variances, but they can all be accounted for by a draft in the apartment.

Talnissa smiles at Kara, and goes to sit down next to her.

"Because you've never had a pressing need to transport large amounts of scrap without a big enough bag handy, and no chance of taking multiple trips since if you do you'll get shot?"

Kara chuckles a little sheepishly.
"Well, I guess you do have a point there. And hopefully you won't have to worry about getting shot at anymore?"

[Talnissa's]

Talnissa smiles reassuringly, and goes to put an arm around Kara.


"I shouldn't. So far as I know, I left all of that behind when I came here."

[The Bushranger]

[Talnissa's]

"Good," Kara says firmly. "But if not, they'll have to deal with me," she promises with a smile, sliding her own arm around Talnissa.

Talnissa nods, and smiles back, rather suspecting that, if it came down to it, that would be a much more frightening prospect than one would think.

"And I'll do the same for you, dear.", the robot says, pulling Kara up against her, if allowed.

[Julie's Place]

Michalson stays behind Edijar, like a proper wizard who's accompanied by a meatshield should. The gift from Lady Death will allow him to sense any undead around, even if he can't see them. The mirror. We need to check it out.

Talnissa nods, and smiles back, rather suspecting that, if it came down to it, that would be a much more frightening prospect than one would think.

"And I'll do the same for you, dear.", the robot says, pulling Kara up against her, if allowed.

Beware The Nice Ones.

Kara certainly isn't going to stop Talnissa, and snuggles up close!

Julie's Place

Shooting proton packs at a mirror would be a Very Bad Idea. Mainframebot decides to go for something more direct. It will reach out to the mirror and try to remove it. If it's the kind that's attached directly to the wall, it will try and unscrew the holder thingies. If it's the medicine cabinet type, it will just attempt to yank the mirror door forcibly off the hinges.

Kara certainly isn't going to stop Talnissa, and snuggles up close!

The robot smiles, and unless Kara does something, it's likely that they'll stay like that for a while, but Talnissa will eventually say "We probably should get going..."

Julie's Place

The mirror comes off easily, revealing a blank wall behind it. If any of the group can see through extremely advanced illusions, they'll be able to tell that there is something off about the patch of wall, but not what.

The mirror itself is completely normal except for the ghost radiation it gives off, at least until someone touches the glass. Then it ripples like water, still holding its shape, and the digit or object prodding it will slip through without resistance.

Kara looks dissapointed when Talnissa speaks up, but nods.
"Yeah. I guess we should, shouldn't we."
However, the brunette makes no move to get up.

Neither will Talnissa, at least not yet, preferring to simply hold Kara close, and try to pull her in for a kiss.
