Re: (Monster Minis!) The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Cool. Will do.
Sounds good. I probably will at some point.
---
On a different subject I've completed the first true Print and Play token sheet. I'll probably only post an image this first time as in the future I'll just update with a link to the printable PDF, but I wanted to show it off so you all can get an idea of what it'll look like. So, here's the PDF LINK (shared via Google Docs) and below is the image. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or feedback.

Re: (Monster Minis!) The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Awesome.
I prefer this gnoll to the original.
Still in google doc the quality of immage is worse then on the pic.
so maybe posting aslo pics is better.
Maybe you should make tha back of the card black. The way its now its difficult to uderstand where is fon t and where is rear. Like in picrelated
What else to say? Keep going you are doing a good job.Last edited by snusnumrik; 2012-06-13 at 06:15 PM.

I made you a drow!
Critique, please?
Also, Dakaran, what size do you want me to make them initially? Will you resize them or or you prefer them already in 120x120?SpoilerThis is the thief who likes to hoard,

Re: (Monster Minis!) The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Hey, look who’s back!
Here is another one from the original Monster Manual, the Fire Giant, more or less based on the David Trampier illustration. I gave him a flaming sword, though he doesn’t have one in the original. The Monster Manual actually describes Fire Giants as having coal black skin, but A) I didn't like the implications of that, B) the Giant depicts Surtur with red skin, and C) I just thought he looked better this way.
SpoilerGiant (Fire) (Large)
SpoilerHa! Did you seriously expect a small giant?

Gah, it's getting hard to keep up the gallery with all the submissions. I updated just the digital download folder to include recent submissions. Thanks everyone for their contributions!

Re: (Monster Minis!) The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
My apologies for the lack of updates of late. I've been increasingly busy and sadly haven't gotten around to making any updates here of late. In some offline spare time however, I've finally dipped my toes into the token creating world. It's been a long time coming, but I finally sat down and worked on creating my own tokens to add to the mix. Here's my first offering: a complete set of lizardfolk from the D&D 4th Edititon Monster Manual and Monster Manual 2. Here's a preview of the color version as well as a black & white line art version (for those that don't want to print in color or want to color their own):
You can download them from a blog I've set up to start sharing my personal print and play creations (http://iheartprintandplay.blogspot.c...-d-tokens.html) as well as right here from some hard links:
Download Lizardfolk Color PDF
Download Lizardfolk B&W Line Art PDF
I've also created the tokens to have backsides, for those that are interested in what direction their tokens are facing. Here's a couple examples:
Spoiler
ON DECK: A full set of Kobolds tokens from the D&D 4e Monster Manual (and one or two from other sources)
ON DECK DECK: A set of Player Condition Cards
ON DECK DECK DECK: A set of Human tokens from the D&D 4e Monster Manual
ON DECK DECK DECK DECK: I don't know. Dragons? I'm open to suggestions.Print and Play Minis | iheartprintandplay | Retired as of 2018, but my entire public collection of monsters, PCs, NPCs, environment pieces, and other supplements are still freely available (see links in top sticky post)

Re: (Monster Minis!) The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Whew... Sorry it took so long everyone, but I finally updated the catalog to include the images posted in the last couple weeks. It's surprisingly tedious to maintain a table in a forum post. I took some time to build myself a spreadsheet that I can way more easily maintain, then just copy out of and paste into a post. Anyway, the image gallery is now up to date as well as the image download ZIP. I'll add my own tokens to the image download when I have some time so those aren't in there yet, but I wanted to catch up with all of the stuff I've missed recently.

Re: (Monster Minis!) The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
I want to contribute to this project. Namely, by OotS-ifing every monster from The Age of Worms Adventure Path. Expect some stuff soon!

Actually, I think Dakaran is doing it all himself now.
