I can tell her to do that, yes. I'd still like her to explain herself, but you don't have to be involved in it if getting your boyfriend back is enough.

"So can you contact her now or are we waiting for something?" Astrana ask in turn. "He might be dead for all I know, or worse." These people didn't seem so friendly either. Question is if she even could trust this thug.

Wenomir sighs a little.
Alright... Wenomir produces a phone, which he conveniently has around, and calls Ilpholin. When she doesn't answer, he leaves a message: Ilpholin, a woman just arrived who claims you'd kidnapped her boyfriend. Call me back as soon as you can so we can sort out this mess.

Wow, this guy was amazing. It surprised him she wanted her boyfriend back from possible torture, enslavement and murder? ****ing *******.
This place looked deserted and yet when she asked him for one little thing she was treated like such a bother.

No wonder there weren't any people around.

She takes a deep breath and looks around, "Thanks I guess. Is it okay if I stayed here a while I wait for her to return your call?"

Wenomir is silent for a while, considering it, then he nods. I suppose that's fair, yes. I'm afraid the rooms here are rather plain, though. And, uh... he rubs the back of his head. If Ilpholin did kidnap your boyfriend, I apologize on the behalf of Watchtower. I hope he's alright.

Astrana slowly nods, "Thanks." She says in a low voice, feeling vulnerable once again. "Can you show me to a room now? I need a shower. I'm came all the way from Riverside." She explains.

[Morty]

[Hallways]

Yeah, sure. There should be some vacant rooms at the barracks... the showers are in separate rooms though, I'm afraid... the building wasn't designed with comfort in mind. He glances at Cynthia. Will your friend also be staying?

[Shadowcaller]

[Hallways]

Not waiting for the demon to reply, Astrana decides to take charge. "I guess she is, no idea why I'm dragging her around though honestly." She gives Cynthia a stern look. Silly demon children.

[Gullara]

[Hallways]

"It's 'cause you liiike me." Cynthia says, saying 'like me' in a sing song voice. She smiles adorably at Astrana.

[Morty]

Wenomir shakes his head and leads the pair to an empty room in the barracks. He hopes Ilpholin calls him soon so he can be done with this embarassing situation.

Astrana closes the door after them, not bothering to reply to Cynthia's comment. "You can stay to the room next to mine, I need to get changed." She tells the little demon with a meaningful look.
For some reason she didn't like Cynthia seeing her naked.

"Aw, are you sure? It'll be boring being all alone. I can just wait outside while you change." Cynthia suggests. Her pleading look is simply masterful. She doesn't want to be alone. D=

[Barracks]

Astrana sigh, "I might as well change there." She goes to grab some towels I'd assume are in the room or at the showers and turns to Cynthia again. "So I'm taking a shower and you are staying here okay? Don't mess anything up while I'm gone." Great, now she had to act like a mother. *grumble*

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

"Okay!" Cynthia says cheerfully. She goes to flop onto the bed as soon as Astrana is gone. What sinister deeds will she commit in her absence? The little demon... jumps on the bed! Whee!

She really needs her own bed if they sleep over here.

After a while Astrana returns to the room, her hair still wet after the shower. "Nice to see you having fun at least. I still don't get why you hang around me, I'm sure there are a lot of people who'd really want you to be with them." Cynthia presence had started to frustrate her a bit.

When Astrana enters, Cynthia stops jumping and lands on the bed. She grins at her, breathing a bit heavily.

Her face drops when she poses her question, however. She looks down at her hands. "Well, because who else wants a demon around? You like me, right?" She looks up at Astrana again hopefully.

[Shadowcaller]

[Barracks]

"A lot of people would love to have you around Cynthia." Astrana explains as she look down at Cynthia. "Your a cute little demon girl. People love that kind of thing. It's just that I'm not really sure what to do with you, if Valente returns I won't really have the time."

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

"I guess..." Cynthia looks unconvinced. "But I have no idea where to go. I don't know anyone else." She isn't cheered at all by thinking about trying to figure these things out on her own.

[Shadowcaller]

[Barracks]

"You can stay with me for the time being but I think there are better places for you. Maybe you can interact with some of the people here to see if they're trustworthy while we wait? I don't really have anything else to do at the moment besides contacting Nabrius..." Astrana replies as she quickly attempts to dry her hair.

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

"But there's no one arooound. I never saw a single other person besides the scar guy and the guy with the funny ears." It's true, not a single other person. Who is Cynthia supposed to talk to?!

[Shadowcaller]

[Barracks]

The tiefling grunts, "So what did you do all that time in hell? You didn't enter this world in that cute girl form did you?" She inquires while pondering asking Nabrius for something.

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

"No, but that's cuz someone told be it would be better if I did. I always looked more like this before that, but kinda different. I like this one better though." Cynthia explains.

[Shadowcaller]

[Barracks]

"And you have always acted this... childish? Or are you effected by your current form?" She asks while laying down on the bed, suddenly feeling rather tired.

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

"Um, always like this I guess. I'm not that old you know, though." Cynthia lies down on her belly, her head facing Astrana. "How old are you anyway?"

[Shadowcaller]

[Barracks]

"You're probably older then me, I'm only 20. We live pretty short lives compared to you which is why organizations like the fourth tower exists. Mortals like to be immortals. It's my goal as well actually." Astrana explains as she stares at the ceiling above them. "What is your goal in life Cynthia?" She peers at the demon beside her.

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

"Older than me? No you're not, silly. I'm only... like, thirteen or fourteen. Something like that." Of course, she's been like she is for her entire life. She ponders Astrana's next question for a moment before answering simply. "I dunno."

[Shadowcaller]

[Barracks]

'I dunno'? Geez.

"Right, we don't have much in common then Cynthia. At your age I already had a goal in life, to amass as much power as possible. Then again, everyone in my compound had it. We were pretty much used as test subjects for the older members though, I'm glad I survived..." Astrana sigh. "Valente was like the first good thing that ever happened to me."

[Gullara]

[Barracks]

Cynthia frowns. Poor Astrana! "You'll get him back, don't worry." She reaches out to give Astrana's hand a reassuring squeeze.

"I really hope so... but if I don't... I need to have alternative plans you know?" Ugh, why was she telling all this to a demon who probably didn't understand a word?

"Nevermind, we should get some sleep, think I'll contact Nabrius tomorrow if she don't respond." And she turns around in her bed, closing her eyes.

"Is he different otherwise? Is he okay?" She continues asking while starting to walk towards the infirmary, her heart almost skipping a beat as she saw the changes who had befallen to him.
She felt a strange calm however, if it had been Sakura she'd been terrified, but these things seemed to have to her husband every other day. He really couldn't stay out of these scenarios.

"He wasn't conscious, but I didn't see any wounds," Darcy says. "I don't know what happened. There were some fey there, with Sakura. They might know." Darcy returns to her default form, and goes with Cessie to the infirmary.
