The stag heads toward the door, pulling it open so he can show Zefir out.

"So... what else?" Adir asks the assembled members. "Sounds like we should just go check it out. Adventurer style."

"Hello, sir." the man who knocked says. "My name is Jack. My father is dying, and sent me here to this Nexus to complete various tasks for him. One of the tasks was to apologize to WATCHTOWER on his behalf, as he apparently angered the group when he was younger. So, on the behalf of Maxios Baxterofski, I apologize due to any trouble or anger he may have caused WATCHTOWER in his youth."

Hey, remember that construction truck? And the construction mage that accompanied it? No, of course you don't. Because you didn't even bother to talk to him. Why should you? He's just a lowly NPC. Nothing you need to bother yourself with. Bigots. Well, he's been pretty busy, building stuff with his magic. In addition, he's been joined by 4 more trucks, and 4 more mages, who all help him build up new buildings outside the main building. By day, anyway. By night, they retreat a campsite which has been constructed near the parked truck trailers, get drunk, sing bawdy songs, talk loudly about which WATCHTOWER babe they'd most like to **** (Sakura), and then sleep in their individual trailers.

The construction sites in general are a hive of activity. In addition to the mages, who erect the structures with their powerful magic, the ethereal forms of djinn and elementals (all of them wearing hardhats of course, despite the fact that many of them actually lack heads) buzz around, carrying materials and tools to work on the finer details. Five buildings have been erected. Two long halls, one on either side of the main tower, which look to be the beginnings of new barracks. A low, squat building tucked by the cliffs adjacent to the waterfall that looks to be the beginnings of a new infirmary. A squat, fortified tower by the walls overlooking a large clearing near the orchard, where training equipment and facilities are starting to be placed by the djinn. Into the cliff itself, on the opposite side to the main tower from the infirmary, surrounded on three sides by solid rock and one side by fortified wall, the beginnings of a new set of labs.

In addition to the construction outside, in the tower itself both the arena and the office have been cordoned off for construction within. The arena is being refurbished into a rec room, the office into something else left vague, because either the OoC never decided on anything, or they did, and Kris has a crap memory (extremely likely).

At the rate the construction is currently going, it seems like everything will be finished just in time for the new thread.

Wenomir shrugs. Rae? Sorry, never heard the name, so I can't help you. If he has heard the name, he's forgotten it.

"Darn." Jack says. "Would you know know where I can find a man named Mercury? I have a package to delier to him, as well."

I think I remember something about a Mercury, but that was over a year ago. So I don't know where to find him now, if he's still around at all, Wenomir says.

"Cya!" Adir calls after C4 as he makes his way out've Watchtower. The stag turns to smile at Sakura and Harnel. Without bothering to explain, he asks, "Oh, Harnel, do you think you could introduce Sakura and I to those folks who built your tower?" Though now that I know of them, it might be more interesting to speak with those construction mages about a job...

I think I remember something about a Mercury, but that was over a year ago. So I don't know where to find him now, if he's still around at all, Wenomir says.

"Oh." Jack says, sighing. "Thank you for your help." He walks away.

[Halae]

[Hallway]

Harnel nods, "Sure. They're based in inside, so whenever you want to go meet with them I'd be happy to take you. They do good work, and fast."

[Murkus]

"Well... are you guys free now?" Adir is eager to get this show on the road.

Sakura, meanwhile, has since finished feeding Laela. Much to Harnel's relief most likely. The little fey is currently peering curiously at the half dragon.

"Sure, sounds good to me." It's not like she was going to be doing anything but spending time with Adir anyway. Looking into getting their new home made seems like a great idea.

Harnel will attempt to tickle the little baby that appears the be staring at him, gently with the top of his claws so there's no danger of her squirming and cutting herself on him, "I'm ready to go whenever you need me to."

"Uh, hold on, lemme get the stroller," Adir says, nodding to the trio and striding off to find it. He returns hurriedly, smiling.

Well... she had ditched the stroller in the woods when she came rushing to Adir, but let's handwave that.

Laela giggles as she's tickled. She grabs hold of his hand, and isn't letting go. =I
Until Adir returns and she's placed in her stroller at least. Oh no, she doesn't look very happy about being taken away from Harnel. In fact, she's about to cr- A dragon plush that matches the resident half dragon's colour scheme is plopped on her lap. The little fey grabs onto her toy. Yay!

"Okay, I'm ready when you two are." Sakura says after appeasing the baby.

"Give me two minutes to gather a few supplies," Boris says, before turning and walking to the hallways that lead to his room, where he keeps his ghillie suit.

Of course, Lord, Mścisław says, smiling. He's immensly relieved that the heroes from Watchtower are going to help his village.

While Boris is off getting his gear, Harin mutters something briefly, which is shortly followed by the appearance of a... Person, of sorts, from the interior of the base; said person is made of water, and flowing rapidly between forms, so that they're often composed of strange amalgams of different bodies.

Other than that, the Fogborn simply stands quietly, waiting for everyone else to be ready.

"I take it you're not terribly familiar with elementals, then?", Harin ventures, frowning for a moment, and looking mildly wary. Sudden invocations of a deity in response to magic aren't usually good signs, after all...

Usually if it is a substance, it's earth, fire, water, or air, but there are other options too," the Fogborn explains, relaxing a bit. "Kheri's is probably fairly obvious, but some of them can be more confusing. One formed of molten rock might be earth or fire, for example, and one made of computer chips and electrical wire could be silicon, copper, technology, or any number of other things."
