[NEXUS] WATCHTOWER 14: Now a Family Business.

So, to recap:

1. Someone, possibly Phoenix, goes with Mister Squiggles, Brand and Waterstrider, the latter two pretending to be slaves and the former being the main infiltrator.
2. They ask for shelter and the "slaves" are hopefully housed with the Cult's slaves.
3. Wenomir, DC and Cessie confront Terrowin directly, providing a distraction that hopefully allows the infiltration team to slip away with the slaves.

Wenomir will propose such a plan and wait for the others' reactions.

Wenomir's plotclone finds KR then, I suppose. Hopefully. Either way, he does so slowly since suirprising a mad scientist never ends well.

True enough, but this particular Mad Scientist has prescience and knows he's coming well before he comes in earshot. Still, she knows that kind of thing is sort of off-putting, and pretends to still be doing... whatever it is she's doing... until she's well certain he's within the range a non-prescient would notice him in.
She looks up. Or possibly down. Or sideways. Or around. There's lots of positions a mad scientist can be in and if you take that in a sexual manner I will end you completely and utterly.
"Sure."
It's not like she's busy. Just killing time. There's nothing happening after all. No looming apocalypses. Not while Thanksmas is going on, anyway. She'd join in the festivities, but after what she was made to wear last year there's no way in hell she's approaching that village again for as long as she lives.

Wenomir is actually currently overseeing two budding operations. But the magic of plotclones and Thanksmas solves this sort of problems.
Well, I've been thinking. Thanksmas is approaching, so why don't we leave the base for two days or so? Just the two of us. I know of a nice cottage up in the mountains in a really beautiful place.

"Yes." Says the spooky girl after a brief pause, during which her player was trying to remember what her speech color was and couldn't be bothered to go look it up and so just guessed anyway.
"I would like to join this organization."
Clearly, this 13 year old child will be a MASSIVE boon to the cause of apocalypse fighting!

Well, at least we can guarantee she won't be sexing up the place.

"Certainly ma'am! But we don't use the forms anymore ma'am. I'll have to talk to someone about recruiting you ma'am." Butler informs her.

"Oh, um, it's still cookin'. I thought ye'd be hungry, so I made yours first..." Cornelia shrugs simply.

Boris gives a bit of a smile. "You should've could cooked for yourself at the same time. I'm not more important than you," he jokes, bringing more of his Communist tendencies into play.

"I don't know this I'm not from here.... I think. Harnel for example is a half dragon and as far as I know he can't make the thing I did a moment ago. I also know from another woman who is exactly like me, but that's all. I don't know more about this Nexus."

"How mannny of you are there? Dragons must eat much. Youuuu must have eatennn half the world, by now." Dar says the strangest things.

"...Um, there warn't enough pans." Cornelia says, putting her hands on Boris's shoulders and bending down to kiss his cheek. She actually thinks he is more important, or perhaps loves him enough to think so, but there really weren't enough pans. "G'on, eat."

"...Ah. Well, I won't argue against that." Boris smiles as his cheek's kissed, and he does begin to eat. He's a little slower than normal, probably because he's still thinking about the previous night in the Den.

A couple minutes in, Cornelia returns with her meal, and a chair for herself. "So, what happen'd last night? I remember gettin' to the den, an then we went in th' back, an... well, thar was alotta champagne."

[Showers -> Ilpholin's Room]

Ilpholin finishes her work out and gets cleaned up. She might be heard singing softly in the shower. Seems she's been reading those learn to sing books and quasi-practicing in secret. But it's not particularly loud, so easy to miss.

She then returns to her room, getting undressed for bed. She glances at a vial of silver liquid. Her Thanksmas gift. Well... no time like the present. She sits on her bed, opens the stopper and downs it. She closes her eyes in a wince, even as there's a very soft glow that forms around her head briefly. Dream stuff tastes weird!

"Blech." She rubs her tongue on her teeth trying to get the taste off, even as she puts the vial down and crawls into bed to go to sleep.

"How mannny of you are there? Dragons must eat much. Youuuu must have eatennn half the world, by now." Dar says the strangest things.

"As i said I don't know much about the number here. I don't even know how often and how much a dragon has to eat. And I can't remember anything about my past. But if I see it right dragons don't need as much as needed for there size."

It's really a problem where you could say she found out already and where she still can#t remember and has never looked for.

Boris hesitates for a couple of seconds. Should he tell the truth? Part of him wanted to avoid the inevitable argument that would ensue, but lying just felt wrong to him. In the end, he decided to go with his gut and just admit it. "You asked me about marriage, actually," he says a little slowly.

Cornelia stares at him a moment, eyes fixed, and then looks at her food. "Of all the... gods damnit..." She frowns. "I was hopin' ye wouldn't remember..."

"It is a terrible thing to forgeeet so much. Do you need help rrremembering?" Dar asks. He doesn't exactly sound eager, but he doesn't sound opposed to it either. Just... cheery and curious, like always.

Boris looks a little distraught, staring down at the table. "Yeah. I was kind of hoping you had forgotten as well." He says this in a lower voice than normal.

"Well why didn't ye just lie?" Cornelia certainly seemed to manage that well enough. She sounded angry for a moment there. She quickly turns apoligetic. "Boris... I'm sorry..."

Boris's eyes widen a little, and he grips the edge of the table. He hated to lie, for reasons he hadn't disclosed, and didn't like being told to lie either. However, that quickly fades when Cornelia softens, and he tries to take her hand. "It's fine, Cornelia."

Cornelia holds her hands up, trying to make it like everything's alright. As a result, her hand is not taken. "It's fine. It's fine. L-let's jus' ferget about it." She stands jiltedly, starting to move toward the door. She needs time to regroup and organize her thoughts. She seems a little upset, now that it's brought up in the light of day. "I forgot yer milk."

Boris just nods. "That's... probably best." He doesn't stop Cornelia from leaving, and just stares downwards, trying to collect his own thoughts.

Sleep won't come easy for the drow however as she's haunted by strange dreams.

At first she see through the eyes of someone reading a book in a small room. It's very hot considering she's wearing a full dress but from a open window a fresh summer breeze can be felt, causing the papers in the room to fly in all directions.

She can hear herself sigh loudly even it it isn't her voice, but before she can get up to collect the run away notes the sound of a door opening behind her can be heard.

There is a chuckle, "Let me help you with that sis."

And before you know it the papers fly back to the table into a neat little pile.
As she turns around she can see a young raven haired man dressed in a black robe who smiles brightly at her.
The features might remind Ilpholin slightly of Cessie's.
The room shifts slightly as the scene grows slightly darker. She seems to have the chance to speak now however.

[Observatory]

"Sounds like a plan to me, besides, no plan survives contact with the enemy anyway. We can try to adapt it as we go along, though we should keep in mind there are lives at stake here and be very careful." Cessie says.

[Reinholdt]

"... Wait? Sis?" She asks, a little confusion in her voice. Who was he?

Cornelia does not return, at least within the space of five minutes or so. Easily long enough to get some water. Unless Boris goes looking for her, she'll return next post.

She looks at him a bit annoyed.

"If I would remember how they where gone I would have done something, but I can't even remember that."

As said she was under a powerfull enchantment which did the mage allow to controll her while all things that happen never hit her mind. It would be very har to remember things without any magic.

Adir and Marcus likely return here, sporting a few new scars, but a bundle of trophies. The stag turns to his companion and grins. "So. I think you're ready to join as a full member. You can hold your own, I'll give you that."

"Yes, was a good test." Marcus smiles, nodding, pleased to have found a fellow hunter in this place.

Admittedly he hadn't expected something quite so dangerous for his test, but Adir probably had some sort of emergency escape plan up his sleeve anyway in case things went wrong.

"You are excellent hunter too, Adir. Very accurate, very good at keeping it distracted. I am glad to have met you."

HT confesses that she still never went back to OOC to make a list of interested people, and thinks maybe asking again would be best, unless someone else wants to go back and look. I do remember promising a place to Orchestra's character Justin.
