I am running a spore-based game after seeing this one http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195654
The people who sign up vote to make the decisions, and your creature evolves, gaining power as it does.
You're basic two stats are Health and Hunger: If you run out of health, you die and If you run out of Hunger, you start losing health.
You get DNA from eating, and when you breed, you can vote to see what to evolve. There are nine spaces, so If you you want to join, hurry.

I would like to play the game I think you are proposing, but the limited slots is not consistent with my understanding of said game. As such, until I understand the reason for the limited slots, I can not guarentee that I will be willing to be involved in this game.

Nutrient rich environ that can become really hard really fast if things ever get too easy.

Volcano spire: Jets of highly pressurized lava broke through the hard shell of the planet and spewed into the upper atmosphere, solidifying as it fell back down to create a very steep volcano.

Okay,

To begin, you can "absorb" food (anything edible) and water, you reproduce by mitosis and begin in a shallow mountain pool on the side of a volcano with a jungle below. (The Place is quite "patchy" with it's biomes)

By the way, Penguinator, are you actually joining?





You don't know how you got here. You just know you are underwater. You can see tiny plants all round, floating in the pool. A few shadows move in the water.

Feh, we don’t need sharp bits to absorb and become the ruler of darkness!

Also, nowhere in our post did we say attack something bigger than the cell, we just wanted to kill whatever is nearest to the cell that was creating a shadow by way of absorption.

You can't absorb anything from your size and up.
I.E, you might end up being absorbed yourself.

if you search Daeero's creatures in spore, youll find the great dark beasts made by me. this is what i aim for.

Deciding to find some food, you head toward a shadow that seems the right size. Looks can be deceiving, though.

The shadow was the shadow of a group of algae, noticing that
it seems quite empty, you get quite happy over eating
the little particles.

You get quite a surprise when you hear the glurk glurk sound.
