Yes and yes. Remember also that voting to tie causes your vote to be distributed unevenly, such that the people would be tied. For example, if A has 4 votes and B has 2 votes, and then C who is leeching from 2 people and has a voting power of 3 votes to tie A and B, A and B will both end up with 4.5 votes (.5 to A and 2.5 to B)

Changing my vote to Internet Flea for building up two earlier wagons (including my own) after being pointed at. Not a bad strategy in this sort of game: building up existing wagons to make others less likely to vote off-wagon, but since that tactic is putting me on the chopping block I'm voting for you.

What evidence do you have of me being a studier other than "I want to turn the bandwagon back on him and Grue Bait." All I've done so far this game is vote to kill Grue Bait, then change my vote to you when you started a trend that made my voting for Grue Bait akin to suicide.

As for Grue Bait having friends... well yeah, that's kinda why I wanted him dead.

I scanned Ramsus last night.... he came up clear of leeching.... which means he's a studier.

Considering the same number of people need to die for people to win, I fail to see your logic; everyone should want more people dead so the big alliances don't have as much of an advantage during the vote.

But studiers benefit more, since they get two points as well.

Studiers get the same number of points that they would get from two lynchings. In all, people that Study every night (and are never Voided) win when there are 4 people left alive (and none of the other 3 alive also studied), regardless of the number of lynchings per day.

Didn't you already "know" that? Restating your accusation doesn't really serve any purpose except to make it clear that you want people to think that it's the case. If you really suspected me of being a Studier you probably would have pmed me instead of broadcasting the suspicion. Day One:

The skittered student scampered down the hallways, his mind elsewhere as he plotted how to take all the power for himself. It was quite simple, actually.

All he had to do was to create an eternal circle of power, a circle that would refresh his magic over and over and over and over.. Which would make him able to make an impregnable shield for investigating the Rift!

The very idea made him shiver with delight. The one called the Flea laughed to himself as he quickly worked out how such a technique would be possible..

A little while later, as the others braved the rift room, he drew sketches, planned plans, stretched maps of magic out before him. Hours his pencil moved swiftly over the designs, his mind racing far ahead to work out what would be needed...

And then, inspiration struck... Power, flowing out and in, replenishing itself on a constant basis. Impossible by normal methods, but perhaps a similarity to the servant-powersap technique?

Another flittery grin appeared as he went back to scan his lists, working out how they would fit with his proposed idea...

And then, just as he realized the key..

He felt the sharp pain, a small pierce as the blade punched through his chest from behind. A moment of shock, his body not even realising that someone had just stabbed straight through his heart, his eyes went wide. Not when he was so close! No!

But he couldn't stave off inevitable death, and he slowly slumped to the floor, his eyes no longer seeing. The figure slowly traced a symbol in the air, the notations of the Flea slowly burning, lighting the room enough to reveal the grin on the face of the shadow.

Turning, it wiped the blood slowly off its blade, slipping it into its robes before leaving the room, empty. Desolate except for the already dead body. It was several hours before someone realised the missing student, and night had fallen by the time they discovered the body....
