Zefir and Bushranger? I'm in need of an opinion. I'm not quite sure where to put Justin. On one hand, I've kind of already posted him saddling up and potentially heading out. On the other, Justin was giving Julie more room than Patty was, so he probably could have seen Zefir's shackle shennanigans, and he's pretty unlikely to do nothing. Opinions, comments, questions?

Okay, I got sick and lost track of the 'Let's attack the Hermitage' plot and who volunteered. The plan is that someone will pretend to be a slaveowner, with Brand and Waterstrider as their slaves, arriving on Mister Squiggles and seeking shelter at the Hermitage to infiltrate. Once they've figured out that slaves are there, then the rescue operation will start.

What is needed is someone to play the part of the slaveowner. This needs to be a character that is known to and trusted by someone at GLoG or Watch, but not known to Terrowin. Kris volunteered Phoenix, but I'm worried that putting him in the lead role will mean the plot takes months to complete due to his player having some kind of ridiculous hobby called school or something. (Srsly, man, you need to drop that!)

So... any ideas? I really want to do this plot, but am having trouble working out the ooc complications.

He's having a rather difficult time communicating that though. Wenomir's discussion with Squiggles consisted of 1 chitter for yes and 2 for no.

I'd volunteer someone, but Harin is almost certainly not trusted enough, having done quite little whatsoever, though he's a member of WATCH and not known to Terrowin. Plus, Will might end up having to defend the Hermitage, depending on whether it calls for help from the other temples of Dalachrech.

(And I'm still a bit uncomfortable with the idea of WATCHTOWER acting as, basically, Remnant's Outside branch; there are no NPCs, and half the members could go on a Who's Powerful in the Nexus list, meaning that if WATCH finds out you're doing something against the rules they're following (which currently appear to be the laws of Inside), you're essentially dealing with a tougher version of Remnant, but one that doesn't really have to answer to anyone else, or worry about collateral damage.)

Anyway, on an unrelated note, I'm working on a list of characters by player that are attending Karyana, Zwei and Ashley's wedding, what their role is, and who they're attending with, so if you have one or more, please let me know who they are, what they're doing, andif they have a date.

Hmm? This has nothing to do with Remnant. This is two former slaves, Brand and Waterstrider, who learned about the Hermitage and want to rescue any slaves that are still there. It's total vigilante / adventurer stuff.

Yeah... this is a vigilante mission. And Remnant or no Remnant, if people find out you're keeping slaves you're going to get in trouble.
Anyway, back to the subject of who will pretend to be a slaver - I guess it's really up to Kris to judge if he'll be able to post frequently enough. I'd offer Sophie in case he can't, but I already have a character in the plot.

Actually, now that I've thought more about your post, I agree with your basic point - which is that villains should be able to hide more or less successfully in the Outside thread if they avoid drawing attention to themselves.

I did check with Earl to make sure he was okay with it first, and he said yes, so long as we brought low to medium powered characters to keep it from being a one sided fight. If he had said no, then I simply wouldn't have let Brand learn about the Hermitage in the first place.

Sad my only char that would fit is Zefir. He isn't really known as a bad guy and I think Rae could be count as a friend of him.^^ After all I don't think he would be in any kind what you search.
