And Quan and the others haven't noticed something as big as that? Is something also preventing their holy senses from tingling as well?

At this point, there's no proof that this necromancer wasn't just ambitious and creative.

"I guess that would make him the "Boss"." Marros says sardonically, hooking a thumb at Harley. Looking around, he shouts to Lakkam, "How much farther? Don't you know we have a wedding to get to?" Leaning close to Amber, he smiles, "Being the brains, I imagine you know how to dance?"

She smiles appreciatively at Alex's revealed face, and holds her hands open to receive the mask and take a look.
Amber nods, "Yup, Big Boss, even. Everything i know-that I can do, we all owe everything we know to him."
Lakkam growls, ignoring Marros as he leads them across the rocks.
Harley sighs, "Please, ladies and gentlemen, don't antagonize our noble guide-without him, this journey is certainly lost."
Amber smiles, "Of course, I know how to dance, that's one thing I learned all on my own... Can you?"

"My dear," Marros shifts his balance and does a twisting front flip between one step and the next, landing precisely, in a deep bow, balancing on one leg "My entire life, my every step, is a dance."

Marros continues his graceful movements, easily keeping pace with the group, "Fear not Master Harley, I'm sure we'll all be focused once the trouble starts." He tips a quick wink to Amber. "Who are we rescuing anyway?"

Lakkam grunts, "We're here."
He points off the edge of the cliff, where it narrows and drops with an alarming and sheer angle before meeting the opposite side of the opposing mountain on the next peak.
"We climb down this side, and there's a ledge you can stand on. From there's its a short jump and swing to the prison entrance."
Harley peers down, and whistles, "I've seen worse though."
He scowls, "Look, superbeings-no flying or ultra-falling, use that as a last resort-if there's something down there, a rope might be as good a safety as any magical form of staying in the air.
He thinks back to Daina telling him about a pit in the Tomb of Horrors with strategically placed Anti-magic Fields.
Alex notices Harley's frown, but can't possibly imagine the man's inner turmoil.
For the past few days, he kept finding himself reflecting on the anguished past, recent and distant, across a few years, and worlds and eras of time...
Holly nods, "No problem here. I've got the ropes..."
Holding up tackle and pitons, Amber spins a pick across her palm, "How's you're upper-body strength, Marros?"
