Brianna chuckles. "No, there is not. Seriously, please don't treat me differently than you did before."

"Oh, if you insist." Quinn grins. "It will be a great strain, but I guess I might be able to handle it..."

"Well, it said to start outside the Main Cabin, so that's the first clue," Jamie says with a smile.

Pearl is still confused. Huh? So I am worth.... something?

Jamie nods, with a smile.
"I do. I think you're a friend of mine, and a friend is worth everything!"

Ooooo! Friends! Pearl bounces happily. What do we do now, friend?

"Seriously, don't. I may have changed in some ways, but I'm still Brianna."

Brianna grins. "Almost all of the Tuatha would agree with you there."

She then turns serious. "There is a reason I came back, though. Apart from wanting to see my friends here."

Pearl closes her eyes tight in concentration. After a few moments, she looks up to Jamie. Momma says no. I'm not waterproofed. She says I'll get soggy. Pearl frowns. I don't like the sound of that.

"Awww. That wouldn't be good, yeah. But we could go for a boat ride and check out the island!" Jamie declares, enthuiasm returning!

I've come back partially because we've got intelligence that some Titanspawn are trying to establish themselves in the Nexus. Not sure what for- the use of Mystery and Prophecy only goes so far, and it's bloody vague- but we do know that they're looking for something, and it'd be bad if they found it."

I can't directly go after them. Not if they're in Inside, anyway.

For the simple reason that while Fate doesn't work as strongly here as it does in my home world... a few things still work, especially when both sides are from home. If I go in, Fate would make sure the Titanspawn involved would, at least, challenge me.

I really don't want a fight between me and a god-level opponent in the middle of a city."

Brianna shakes her head. "Not right now- they're not dumb, they'd be able to figure it out. Maybe bring some low-level fighters into this? They could do investigations in Inside."

"Yup! Old pirate booty," Jamie says, grinning and in a mysterious voice. "Buried and waiting to be found!"

"Well I know I'm not the most experienced..." Reinholdt admits. But he compensates for it in other ways. Being extremely sexy for one. Not sure the pink eyes would do it for me though.

Reinholdt slowly props himself up in bad to look at all the clothes scattered about. "Thank you. I got most of it on quests and such. Oh yeah... that reminds me. I've got another quest I'm on call for, in order to help this guy whose life has become a plaything for gods. So I might have to go do that some time soon. Whenever I get the call."

Ermine just grins, her tail flicking. It's probably notable that she's still nude.

"Dat's neat. If'n ye need any help wit dat, ye can always give me a call."

If I recall correctly, the pirate has a cell phone for whatever reason and has given Reinholdt her number before.

It's easily notable. Reinholdt's not exactly dressed himself. Just a bit covered by the covers. And he doesn't seem in a particular rush to change that fact about either of them.

"Ah. Well I'll let you know when I hear something and you can come with then, k?" Reinholdt says with a nod. Probably much better if she meets Lily too rather than tell Ermine about it after the fact or something.

The girls should find a box sitting on the steps of the main cabin, wrapped in the same paper that the magic 8-ball was in. "Right out in the open?" Holly asks "I thought it would be harder than that."

Yeah, that'd work. There's also a Scion of the Aesir who's coming over who might be able to help- she's only recently had her first Visitation. We'd have to figure out where they are, though.

"He would be, but he's dead. Ymir was one of the Greater Titans- the Greater Titan of Ice, to be exact. His death ended the last Ice Age.

Which wouldn't be a problem, but... all that ice melting nearly flooded the World. Killing a Greater Titan has consequences.

By 'sons of Ymir', the prophecy seems to be referring to Titanspawn that were spawned from Ymir. Number of candidates, but it seems to mean either Frost Giants or Dwarves, most likely the former."

"I see." Quinn frowns. "Frost giants. I think I might know somebody who could help with that, actually..."
