Chez growls as he's hit, but his flesh starts to refrorm and grow back as he kills his fourth Orc.

While such a sonic attack would be effective up close, farther away, it's effect would likely be blunted and perhaps cut even farther when it hits a barrier designed to assay the effects of high air pressure around the airbike. Given the speeds it could travel, it was a requirement so as to prevent it's rider from being torn up simply from the air friction. This had the side effect of heavily dampening sounds when traveling above a certain speed but then again, the harsh sounds of deafening wind would likely not be preferable to, say, a radio broadcast. At worst, the sound would be a great irritant but likely not nearly as potent as Feia might wish it would be.

As for Kirk, he would just have to deal for now as Ghoul sent the airbike into a half-roll, ending up upside down for a few moments before she pulled a half-loop downwards, leveling out a scant fifty feet over the ground below. It would feel like much less, however. Given that anything below a few hundred feet was highly uncomfortable for a pilot not trying to land, this either spoke of confidence in skill or just insanity and it was probably rather difficult to tell the difference between the two just now.

About a hundred feet away from Feia, Ghoul fired off one flechette cluster which soon burst apart into dozens of small, metal darts that whistled harshly from the velocity they were traveling. Some may be caught up in the bubble of flowering plasma. The muse quickly peeled off, turning the bike ninety degrees and 'climbing' away before actually ascending, again keeping a middling amount of distance between Fiea and her machine. In the meantime, the mass accelerator would be switching ammunition types again to slugs. While this would require more accuracy than the other two, it could also deliver the most energy on impact.

[Jungle - Cave]

((Sleet's player wonders why Chez is killing the orcs when they are deadtimed. At the time when Chez started killing them, they had no way of acting and attacking back because their player wasn't actually online because she does, on rare occasions, need to attend school. Also, Sleet's player has noticed that she's been skipped and therefore Sleet - and Kale now that she mentions it - haven't really been given the chance to act at all. Also, the orcs have apparently just sat there as they are being killed. Ah well, they put there specifically TO be killed, so why not?))

Jungle- Cave

((Well, they were obviously adventurers. What other sort of idiot wanders into a hellhole of a jungle looking 'nothing in particular'?))

"Sleet, don't. Jus... Don't." Kale says, holding up a hand to stop Sleet from charging the orcs... But not in time to stop Chez or Marty, it appears. And so he watches in horrified silence as Chez tears into the orcs, as innocents die by the hands of his so-called "allies" whom he didn't stop... Just watching, frozen, and wishing he wasn't.

You would protect them? Step aside Kale! You don't know what they've done! Her greatsword is in her hands and she longs to join the rage, killing the orcs. Why wouldn't Kale let her? She knows that her rage at the orcs may make her accidentally stab him if he doesn't get out of her way and she doesn't sheathe her sword. And she doesn't put it away. Looking at the orcs makes her want to go charging in and killing them all.

The orcs, apparently, sit there as Chez kills them. The remaining two spring up and apparently sort of like demi-god orcs to make up for the quick killing of their pals. They have snatched up there weopans and come roaring at Chez with huge greataxes, slashing and screaming obscenities in orcish.

More fletchettes and lasers.

It was already difficult to see Feia, but with as many projectiles being caught in the twistings of Space around her as there is, she is not completely obscured.
This would seem to be a useful thing, for her, to indefinitely evade the attacks simple because reality fails to produce a straight-path towards her body.

But it is only a temporary thing.

Moreso, as the second wild-magic cloud contracts again, releasing a little pulse of magic, then disappearing.
It reappears roughly above and to the left of Ghoul/Kirk's current position, slightly larger than before.

The pulse of magic coils through the air for a moment, before whoosing over towards the missile-cloud that is Feia, and silently bubbling over it.

Space is normalized, the original wild-magic nullified.
The projectiles take their intended paths.

Sparks, releases of quick magic.
The sorceress is left on the ground, at her knees, and wearing a solid portion of her life blood.
She stares at the ground, quietly giggling to herself, despite wounds and tears across her body.

Oh, I forgot to introduce you. Ermine, this is my Momma, Happy. Momma, this is Ermine. Reinholdt's girlfriend.


For a flash of a second, there's a sad frown, and then Melody smiles again. It was our pleasure. Come by anytime, both of you. She nods to them both.

She then moves between them, trying to slip her arms into theirs, and escprt them back to the Eastern Beach, where they came in. So did you enjoy the fish? Momma provided the wine.

Ermine smiles, and allows Melody to escort them.

"Hah! Hssh, try putting on metal undies and runnin about in a normal storm, that, hssshh, would be safer!" The nameless figure mocks, words interspaced with a disgusting hissing, slurping sound. "Look at it... A yellow gloved finger is pointed towards the center of the maelstrom that rises up just a few hundred feet away, a sense of reverence, of awe in the man's voice now. That.. That is more energy than you can possibly imagine, hsss, sealed up within a rotating semi-solid cloud of debris, it's focal point upon this, ssshh, this plane. Imagine what you would have wrought, letting it loose like that! You want a little kick, a little, shhsh, jump to give you back whatever's lost? Then c'mon in, I'll, hssh, loan ya a suit. But if you try to use magic here again, if ya risk letting loose tha tempest, then I'll kill ya before the storm can!"

"Sleet, these orcs haven't done anything! They haven't hurt us, that... that thing just attacked them for no reason! I know you don't like orcs, but, but yer a paladin! You of all people know ya can't just slaughter people who ain't done nothin to hurt you..." Kale pleads, staring right at Sleet as he stands in her way. She could just shove him aside, he's not big enough to block the path, what with being an elf... But will she risk blowing her cover?

Sleet's having trouble controlling herself. Klae, I'm warning you. Step aside. My hatred of orcs runs deep. They are vile, evil, please step aside! Although she was considering stabbing him before something makes her stop that line of action. Perhaps it's Kale's tone, or his look, or maybe it's the fact that Chez has already decimated most of them. Good. It doesn't matter that these ones haven't attacked us. They are all evil. All of them.

Now that they know the giant lupine thing can be harmed, they attack with full force, slashing and hacking at him. Then one breaks away. They have appeared to perceive Chez as a kind of guardian of the others, so this one rushes to attack Sleet, kale and Marty. Kale, I believe, is in front, so he will be the first to receive an attempted slash from the orc.

Look out! Screams Sleet, attempting to push Kale aside purely by a leftover instinct from when she was good-aligned.
