Mikani takes a deep breath, and heads over to Sallianne and Pearl.
"Hey, you two alright?"

Sallianne looks up smiling. Yeah. I got bored guarding the slaves. So I decided to teach Pearl here how to play poker.

Pearl nods. It's fun. I won the right to polish her spears. she says proudly.

Shhhh. Sallianne blushes. I wasn't really gonna let her do that. Honest.

Irene will feel the need to leave the cave. NOW!

"EVERYONETIMETOGO!!"
Irene says, floating as fast as she can right back out of the cave. Fleeeee!

Whatever Mikani was about to say gets cut off at Irene's call.
And she wastes no time.
Reaching to grab Pearl's arm with one hand and Sallianne's with the other and haul her friends after her as she hauls after Irene!

Pearl's arm is grabbed, the cards in her hand go flying. But.... I had a duece of spades!!

Sallianne isn't grabbed at all. She takes off flying after Irene under her own power.

The cave begins to rumble, and rocks begin to fall. Some of the slave girls likewise begin to run toward the exit.

Sophie wastes no time in running away either.

Whooosh! Out Irene pops, like a rocket.

Swampy Gnoll

Ilpholin and the group of AMENites approach to where Ilpholin recalls encountering the gnolls from before.

Zefir is here mainly at the end of the groupe, his arms behind his head he is chewing his chewing gum. Since he hasn't really met anyone of the peopler he just leaves them with there things for now.

Nephrim is here, too, wearing a pair of decent boots, tough jeans and a thick jacket with wing-holes. At the moment, she's in the shape of a nine-year-old half-elf girl with short black hair, pointed ears and luminous green eyes. She's lugging along her red rucksack, and she's handling a pistol confidently in her right hand.

"And if you stayed you'd have the Dead Man's Hand!" Mikani manages to snap while running for all she's worth!

Once she and Pearl are out of the cave she'll let go of her friend, spin around, drop, press her hands to the ground, and attempt to cause kudzu to spring forth!

And wrap around the inside of the cave!

She has no illusions that she can stop the collapsing. She does, however, intend to exert herself to the utmost in an attempt to slow it down long enough for as many of the ex-slaves as possible to escape.

Those attuned to magic might very well be able to detect green nature/druidic magic swirling around the Magical Girl as she channels every mote of magical essence she can into the effort...

Becky's here, too. In her new form-hugging, leg-baring (between the high-cut hips and the thigh-high boots, anyway), Ain't I One Hawt Demon outfit.

She carries no visible weapons, but she does bear a rather confident - and, for those not AMENites, rather disturbing, perhaps - smirk.

Irene, Mikani, Pearl, Sophie, and Sallianne all escape the cave just fine.

Mikani sends kudzu to delay the collapsinf cave as much as possible. It is effective, in that all the slaves that had started running when they had escape. But those that start running after, as well as those who don't try at all, do not make it.

The survivors hear the rocks rumble down on top of those inside, hear the screams of the dying, and then silence.

Irene's navigation soul directs her toward NO.

As the screams die away, Mikani rocks back on her heels, looking exhausted...and buries her face in her hands.

Irene might go that way in a bit. But for now... she floats over to Mikani to put one hand on her shoulder, trying to comfort her. It's got some weight now too.

Swampy Gnoll

Greg is here, wearing a dirty grey hoodie and tattered blue jeans. Becky looks like trouble, so he stays away from her. Nephrim looks too young to be carrying a firearm (Greg makes a mental note of looking into getting a gun for himself at some point), so he stays away from her as well. Zefir actually looks the most normal, so the psion stands near him.

Yeah Zefir is the most normal one wearing jeans and a T- Shirt. The only thing he has is a bag on his side. From time to time he is pulling out a bomb or so sorting things in there. As he notice Greg staying next to him he gives him an annoyed side look.

"And who are you?"

He doesn't want to sound rude, since both haven't met, but that depends on how greg takes that.

Sophie is silent. She doesn't have anything to say at this point. You can't always save everyone, but that doesn't make it feel any better. She knows this, of course, having seen many an innocent die. What she wonders is whether or not it's Jamie's first introduction into that harsh truth.

After a couple of moments she looks up at Irene, her eyes wet, but manages a small, grateful smile.

Forgotten Swamp

As the AMEN group reaches the swamp Ilpholin will notice there is something different about it, there isn't any mist for instance and the sky is clear this early summer morning.

Rime frost still covers the vegetation and the sounds of birds and insects can be heard everywhere, sounds which where lacking last time the drow visited.

There is however still danger here as it's pretty clear once they come closer to the gnoll village. The stench can be sensed from afar and it might be pretty clear to the group what they should be expecting, death.

Nine heads have been put on spikes with their bodies put in a great pile behind them alongside a great deal of dead animals of various sort. The heads have nearly rotted away at this point but from their skulls some of you might tell two of them are of wolfen and the rest of them elves.

There is a stone with a single mural written upon it which in demonic, a language Ilpholin knows mean what might already be clear.

Not Really Forgotten At All Swamp

"We're getting close." Ilpholin says, pressing on despite the warning.

She finds the fact that she could read that at all rather odd. Huh. She never studied languages like Nadas.

Becky happens to be a few steps behind Ilpholin, her position being chosen strategically, of course....
She frowns at the skulls on spikes, shaking her head.
"So crude and gauché," the shadowdancer observes. "Whatever happened to the classic 'keep out' sign?"

She presses on too, of course.

Nephrim, as a demon, might also be able to read the sign. Though she's really the wrong type of demon. She still has the gun out and is holding it ready.

Gnoll Swamp

Going past the warning the group will have the distinctive feeling of being watched.

The swamp is despite the clear skies heavily obstructed by vegetation, only the path you now walk on is clear as it appears to have been used by the gnolls for a long time.

But as you go along the path a gnoll comes wandering in the opposite direction. He's dressed in a leather armor with bloody paw marks on as well what looks like a traditional shamantic headgear.
As he approaches he shows his palms, revealing he's unarmed. "Strangers approach tribe, not see sign? Strangers should stay away. What you want?" It inquires with a touch of annoyance in his voice.

"Go and gather your tribe and your elders. We wish to speak to them." Ilpholin says. Announcing their plans to one person would be kinda boring.

Becky just crsses her arms.
And puts on her best, most intimidating look!
...is that a hint of a glow in her eyes?

"Do as you are asked and nothing else. To do otherwise is unthinkable." Nephrim puts her mind control magic behind her words; the gnoll should do as Ilpholin told it to, unless it resists. The magic is such that if it doesn't work, there's very little indication that it was used.
