"Oh. Umm... I don't know. What's good?" Stir fried rice maybe?

[Lex-Kat]

I don't know. Melody continues to read the menu. I thought you'd know, Mister World Famous Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire!

[Reinholdt]

"I'm not a world famous culinary taste test person!" Reinholdt counters.

"I'll take stir fried rice and... umm... eggrolls."

Hansel's Bakery

Myrmidon is already really enjoying the trip here; he had a Cornish Pasty, and discovered what he considers the best type of pastry-based product ever. In between bites, however, he does make one remark. "Would you like to trade a bite for a bite?" If AJ loves the chocolate cheesecake, however, it is entirely possible that her response to this will be negative. Myrmidon just likes trying new things.

She does hesitate a moment...but, finally, her curiosity about the other flavor and her not wanting to seem rude win, and she nods.

She scoops up a forkful of hers and holds it out for Myrmidon to bite from.

So in all that Treasure Hunting, you've never come across Chinese food before? I'll have the General Tisow's Chicken, with fried rice. What's in it?

The girl at the counter explains. Oh, and a nuka cola.

[Reinholdt]

"I'm a cat! I ate fish!" What more is there to life?

"You drink that radioactive stuff?"

Radio active!? Um, I'll take a coke. She looks back to Reinholdt. When'd it become radioactive? And why is it still on the market?

Melody steps aside to wait on her order.

[Reinholdt]

"I'm pretty sure it's always been radioactive. That's why it glows and stuff. Don't know why it's on the market, but this is the Nexus." Reinholdt says, stepping aside with her.

[Lex-Kat]

{Foodcourt}

Always!? We have to tell Butler. and she starts to leave, her arms already shifting into wings.

[Reinholdt]

"Wait, what? Who? You can't fly in here!" Calm down Melody. One step at a time!

[Lex-Kat]

Butler B. Butler! You know, the catboy who cleans everything at GLoG. Even if she's never interacted with him, she's seen him around. That's how she found out about Nuka-Cola to begin with.

And why can't I fly? There's room. She looks above at the tall ceiling. Her wing-tips on her hips.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh. Him. I'm sure he'll be fine for an hour at least, yes?"

Reinholdt looks around the place.
"Well yes, but I meant to get outside. I'm reasonably sure they don't like fliers. Maybe."

It's like riding through the mall on a skateboard!

Myrmidon will take quite a small bite from the fork, and hold out his own fork for AJ to take a bite from. Had I been the one eating the cheesecake, I would not be using a fork, or any implement more complicated than my fingers. But apparantly Myrmidon is more civilised than I am.

After taking the bite, AJ nods a little. Yours is pretty good.

But I like mine better. She grins.

"Really? That's annoying. I have to agree on which is better. Chocolate cheesecak is lovely, but I'd rather have this one than nothing." Myrmidon smiles as he says it, before resuming his slice of strawberry cheesecake.

"Or we could both have chocolate, or try something new." Myrmidon continues smiling. Yay, smiles.

AJ blinked a couple times.

Oh, yeah...didn't think of that... She chuckles.

Melody looks shocked, then mad. What!? How can you say that? No more hesitating, she flies up in to the air, and begins flying to the nearest exit.

Reinholdt groans and flies up after her.
"Because it's not so radioactive that stopping anyone from drinking one or two of the things is going to do anything it hasn't already. And what about all the people here that might order that drink?" Are you going to abandon them to their fizzy fate?

Melody pauses, flapping her wings and looking at the people below her. She looks conflicted. Then looks to Reinholdt. What should I do? she asks, unsure of herself.

[Reinholdt]

"Well... if you're that concerned about it... look into the drink more closely and then start an anti-Nuka-Cola campaign. I'm pretty sure people will listen once you have all the facts to present to them." Reinholdt suggests. Only thing he can think of right now.

[Lex-Kat]

Melody slowly floats back down to the floor. I.. don't know where to begin. I've never done something like this before.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt floats down with her.
"Protested something? Well... that's where asking for help comes in. I think for now, we need to just get a bottle of the stuff and take it to an expert for study, yes?"

That sounds good. she says as they are presented with their food. It smells delicious. We can do that after we eat, right? he tummy grumbles, and she blushes.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt smiles.
"Yes. Yes, we can."

I know he'd prefer it.
He takes a deep breath in, savoring the smell.

Melody takes her tray, her arms having shifted at some point after she landed, and looks for a place to sit. I'm sorry for getting upset, Reinholdt.

"It's ok. It happens sometimes." Reinholdt says.

Heck, he gets upset more times than he should be allowed.

Melody sits down and begins to eat. After a few minutes, she swallows her last bite. Mmm. This is good. A bit spicier than I expected, but good. she looks up at Reinholdt. Do you think they'll give me the recipe? She's got some sauce on her chin and around her mouth.
