Okay, he visibly is calmer. He trusts this nice lady. HE pushes the money back to her though.

She nods, once more trying to give him back his money

"Yes, you're allowed to eat. I wouldn't have offered if you weren't. And stop trying to pay us, okay? I don't think Naku will ask for money from you, and even if she does, I'll pay for it with mine. Okay?"

He firmly (well as firmly as a 12 year old starving bird can) gives her the money. Uh uh. Nice lady keep. Who Naku?
He looks around.
Can eat now?

[Lady Serpentine]

Fear frowns, tucking the coppers into her coin pouch, at the same time pulling one of the platinums she was given earlier out, and trying to hand it to him.

"Fine. But take this, then. Naku is the owner. And yeah, you can eat now. What do you want?"

[Dark Elf Bard]

Thurilyet examines the platinum. He's never seen one before!
I can eat any thing. If lucky I can get into dumpster. Where is trash?

[Lady Serpentine]

Fear swears in abyssal for a moment, standing.

"You're not eating trash. I'll go make you something. Stay here for a minute, okay?"

[Dark Elf Bard]

He's stunned. He's going to eat real food!
Thank! Real food!

[Zefir]

"Yes, Fade. I meant just going into the kitchen and making something."

So with a nod, Naku heads off into the kitchen.
Though that means she misses the chimney dealy.

"It's odd how much people here need to eat."

Then Fade goes on doing bartender stuff like cleaning the glasses.

Fear nods, and, a minute or two after Naku, heads into the kitchen to prepare food for the kenku.

She'll be back next post, unless the vampire has something to say to her.

Right around now, Seltz and Megan's food arrives! Though, fortunately, not in a way that would require them to interrupt their conversation to avoid being overheard, as Sorrow, since Fear was busy, Nether-formed and carried the plates and glasses over on the tentacles that provided, without moving his body from the bar.

Fear, meanwhile, returns to the kenku with a hamburger, a salad, and a large pitcher of ice-water.

Setzs thinks "I've never been to one...it might be worth a try"

She idles.
"Now what?"

"Mmk." Megan says as she dips her spoon into her curry.
"So why don't you like your parents?"

Fear and Sorrow may get the impression that Lady Raennall is watching them in the way someone does when she wants to speak to the other person but wants to wait until they’re not busy before going over to talk. Sorrow would be most likely to notice, as Raennall is sitting at the bar.

“Yes, most humans do like regular mealtimes, three or more a day if they can get them.” She replies absentmindedly to Fade as he goes about doing his bartending duties.

"The people here have strange life conditions. I never had more than one meal in a year."

Fade shrugs still doing his bartender stuff.

Fade's reply requires a double-take from Raennall, which is impressive since very little shocks her.

"You can survive on a single meal a year? How long is a year where you are from, and..." it seems that she has decided that what she was about to say next is not tactful, so she opts for saying nothing more just yet.

Fade coulld assume what she may want to say, but he isn't sure so he don't say anything.

Oh, and when Fear was in there, she may have noticed Naku was around in a dark corner, hiding under a cabinet. But may also not have.

Either way, she comes out with a tray of salads. Maybe not terribly filling, but she didn't want to upset her cook.

"Your world has no cycle of day and night? Interesting. May I ask the name of your world?" then she decides to risk being rude and asks the question she wanted to ask earlier. "If it is not rude of me to inquire, what sort of being are you? I ask only because I am unfamiliar with any people of my world who have your powers and can go so long without food. Please forgive my ignorance."

Naku's return is met with an eager smile. The food brightens the smile more. It seems that the Lady approves of a diet rich in leafy greens.

Songdancer(having taken some ibuprofen) slinks back up to the stage.
And begins to sing.

He suddenly stops, holding his head. The ibuprofen was wearing off.

"We aren't as arogant as people here seem to be thats why we don't have a name for our world. After all it has only one sun day so we really don't need to give it a name. Actually I'm a human. Well thats what we call ourself since it was nessassary to differ from other simular beeings. But that wouldn't be as acurate related to your point of view. You may call my race shadow if you really need that. And for the meal one every year is a very frequently consuming for us. You could say it is like you having one meal each day. And as far as I know your kind could life without food for 2 months or so."

Fade still has this soundless voice which makes his speech very boring, until someone really pays attention.
