Unless Grim spends a Fate Point somewhere, his gun continues to fire blanks for all the ffectiveness it has. Perhaps he'd like to try to set the ghoul up for a big fall via maneuvers first?

The ghoul is able to take advantage of the fact that Brando is limping, and easily laughs off the doctor's attack. In fact, the ghoul manages to parry in such a way that it will have a momentary advantage against the doctor for a few seconds. (he get defensive spin for winning by 3 or more. The ghoul's attack roll against Brando next turn will have a +1 bonus)

Amber bit her lip. She had hoped her partners could take out the ghoul so she could conserve energy. However, with little choice she again pointed her hand to fire the spirit attack.

The danger past, Brando switches back to human form.

"Grim, could you, execute or whatever everyone of these that doesn't look absolutely dead? I don't want to bet on odds that they can't regenerate. I know the White Vampires can, and these ghouls are obviously different"

Supporting himself on the walls of the warehouse he looks at his leg. Oh that was bad alright.

"Pass me bandages and something to cover myself with before I freeze. Amber, do we know how bad a wound needs to be to infect, kill, and zombify? If we are not I sure could use some of that medicine. Oh right..."

He goes towards the hostages. Freeing them was necessary, but security was paramount. Principally now that his capabilities had been drastically reduiced. He runs a quick medical check on all of them, looking for everything he can find with his eyes

Grim shrugged. "Sure. Hopefully their easier to hit this time around ..."

The scion moved around, performing his coup de grace duties ...

"Not sure, but better safe than sorry." Amber says as she gives a potion to Brando.

As Brando checks the prisoners, he sees that they are not faring well. They all have multiple bite wounds. He don't know how long they can continue to resist the disease coursing through their veins. He has a choice to make. Does he give the medicines to these prisoners, or does he use the medicine for himself? The prisoners are barely conscious right now, and in heavy chains to be sure, but should one of them turn, the chains will be no barrier.

Not really knowing what to do, despite knowing the answer should be obvious, Brando struggles. On one hand he was a doctor, and he should be saving his patients first. On the other, everyone could die if he became a ghoul.

The other side of being a doctor was making the hard choices. He almost drinks the potion himself. But holds it for a little longer

"Okay. We have a problem"

"Problem?" Amber asked rubbing her head, "I can't risk using any more magic for a bit so it better not be the 'need Amber' kinda problem."

[Starbin]

Grim shook his head. "I know, Brain, but how are we going to get the monkey to wear the tutu?" He waited for the other shoe to drop ... probably on his head.

[DukeGod]

"There's not enough of the potion for both me and them. Someone is gonna have to stay at the risk of becoming a ghoul. Unless you can make more real quick"

[Major]

"It would take a large amount of supplies, preperation, and rituals. I can't just snap my fingers and make potions..."

[Starbin]

"But apparently turning people to dust IS a snap.". Glancing at the prisoners, then back to Brando, the scion shrugged. "Do what you want, but I don't fancy fighting a ghoul liger.

Would that be a gliger, or a loul?"

[Frosty]

One *possible* solution is just to kill the prisoners, but you have a feeling Warden Dresden would be REALLLY unhappy about that. Another precaution you can make is that since becoming a ghoul *usually* means having less self control, it is possible that a ghoul-Brando would not have enough control to shift into liger form. So, if Brando just stays in human form for now, then even if he goes ghoul, he won't cause as much damage.

On fiancee's desktop so lack the books at the moment, can someone look up the "sight" mechanics? Thinking of trying to look at the good doctor and seeing if I see anything

(You open it up, roll Lore to understand what you see, and then roll Discipline to try to close the sight. Difficulty depends on the intensity of what you see. Remember, there's been a LOT of bad juju here, so be careful.)

Amber moved so that her back was to the people and tried to narrow her focus as much as possible as she turned to look at the doctor. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes as she focused on opening the Sight. Once she was ready, she looked at the doctor.

Amber was inundated with the metaphysical equivalent of STINK. It's a viscous HAZE that renders her unable to see anything of importance. She needs to center herself and try to see through the haze.

Grim watched Amber make goo-goo eyes at the doctor, smirking to himself for a moment. Then he turned to watch the others, least someone 'ghoul out' all of a sudden ...

Amber kept her eyes open and focused as she tried to push past and see what was going on. Why was she having a hard time seeing anything? It made no sense.

Eventually, Amber understands the haze as a representation of Amber's own mind trying to protect itself from the scene of massive trauma...truama forced upon the victims to be transformed from the INSIDE out. She now sees the victims as 4/5 ghoul. They are struggling mightily, but will likely turn within the day, but Amber has no idea WHEN in the day.

Grim, being smart and looking around, and paying attention, hears the footsteps of more ghouls...and one White Court vampire. The same vampire you all encountered before is here again, surrounded by 2 more *really mean* looking ghouls. The vampire holds up a vial and says, "Looking for this?" He smirks.

(Right. You rolled just well enough to close the Sight in here. The Doctor had a nasty bite, but he seems to have much more time left.)

"Not to interrupt your anime eyes, but we have company. Back on the clock, big cat!". Grim faces the vampire's entourage, waiting for hostilities to break out.

As Amber forces the sight closed she looks towards the White Court Vampire, "Going to run again? How goes the severe burns from last time coward?" She asks with a smirk, "Doctor, you have time. These people don't however." She notes softly.
