Eric blushes and scratches the back of his head, "Uh, yeah. I'm the father of the little ones Julie's carrying around at the moment." His face shows naught but embarrassment, but Pansy should be able to tell from his body language, and perhaps the wagging tail, that he is distinctly happy about that.

Julie's face falls, but she extendds her hand to Pansy, attempting to pat her arm gently in a comforting gesture.

"I think I understand. Eric was gone for so long, but he came back. I think that's one thing you can count on Pansy, they'll always come back." Well, she'd never believed it until now, but sometimes even Julie can accept miracles when they happen.

Renetta has decided that she really needs to be more sociable outside the wolfen brothers and the halfling family, so here she is looking around for other people. Of course, being sociable right now is hopefully going to be a distraction from her worry for Waterstrider. That or she's going to continue worrying, just with other people around.

Near the lake seems like a good place to start in any case. You'd think there'd be someone around at least. So anyone that looks like they might be of interest to talk to might find a heavily pregnant elf approaching them.

Out of a nearby bush peers a pair of glowing blue circles. Perfectly round, unmoving. No sound is coming from the bush...

A chipmunk scurries forward. It looks at Renetta, and decides that she isn't of any interest. It sniffs theWHAP

A hand in a long sleeve comes out of the bush, swatting the chipmunk. It is followed by the Robed form of Keo, her face covered by the shadow from her hood, only her eyes peering out. The three-foot-tall cat girl will play with the small mammal a bit until it passes out or somehow dies.

In a much more direct fashion, something not much bigger than a chimpunk scurries over to Renetta. Brinika only knows the elf lady is friends with Tito and Lily and their wolfen friends, but not much else.
Hi! She squeaks on approach. Caretaker is, as always, following faithfully behind.

Quinn's here, dealing with being almost eight months pregnant.

Renetta starts a little when Keo emerges from the bush. She had no idea the catgirl was there. The elf watches Keo curiously for a moment before her attention is drawn away by yet another little girl.

"Oh, hello." Renetta likewise doesn't know Brinika, or Keo for that matter. Time to solve that right now. "I don't think I know you yet. I'm Renetta. What's your name?" She says in a kindly voice. Her gaze is inevitably drawn back to Keo for a moment.

I'm Brinika! The tiny goblin responds, before glancing at the bush as well. Hi Keo! Come over here! She calls out to the other girl.

Reelshka pokes her head inside with a worried expression. It's going to be soon, isn't it? She asks.

Keo is distracted by Brinka enough for the chipmunk to get away. She scurries over to where the other two are. "Hi Brinka!" She looks at Renetta. "Hi,m! I'm Keo,m! Who are you, m?"

Quinn starts a bit, then smiles and nods to Reelshka.
"Oh, hi there...and yeah, about another month or so, I think."

"Congratulations, Eric. I'm glad you found your way back." Pansy says, with a genuine smile.

Just then, there's the sound of bickering children in the other room and then an indignant yell for "Moooooooom!" from Tito. "Excuse me. My own are being quarrelsome lately." she says with an eyeroll. And she hurries off because of player spoons.

Eric smiles as he goes to sit down in the spot Pansy left behind, near Julie, "You want to take a short break? I can't imagine walking around with the babies is all that easy."

He shifts uncomfortably, though. Damn chair. Chairs should be made with tails in mind.

Meanwhile, a certain redheaded Solar arrives at the main cabin for some reason, and steps inside heading in the direction of the kitchen.

The chair Pansy left behind is the halfling sized rocking chair Brand had built for her. He probably wants one of the humanoid sized chairs at the big dining room table.

"Thank you darlin', I- hold on, excuse me miss?" Julie, from her chair by the fireplace, turns her head to address the Solar before she can leave the main room.

"Hi, I don't suppose you know where we could find Shrike, or another council member in a pinch?" When in doubt, why not ask? If this girl doesn't know, perhaps someone else will, but it's worth a shot.

"Wow, you're working again! I'd love some cake! We'll have to figure out how to make sure you have some to give people..."

Reelshka's ears twitch. That's good. I guess I'm a little overly cautious when it comes to this. She decides not to go into details.

Quinn gives Reelshka a knowing, and sympathetic, look, but doesn't press for details.

The reason Reelshka is nervous is that when Brinika was born there were complications as a result of which she'll remain an only child.
Right now, she blinks, taken by surprise by the question.
Why- of course. I'll be honored to. Is the baby a boy, then?

"Yes. I'm sure he'll take after his father in which case he'll be a handful," Quinn says, giggling a bit. "I'll need all the help I can get keeping an eye on him."

Reelshka's ears twitch. Yes, I can imagine... Jamie already takes after him a lot, though. And this is quite a lot of upcoming babies... you, Renetta and Julie. Brinika is going to be so excited.

"Wow, you're working again! I'd love some cake! We'll have to figure out how to make sure you have some to give people..."

I've been living in one of the guest rooms for a while now, but now that Eric has shown up, and with the kids just around the corner, I wanted to know who I could ask about getting a permanent room in one of the cabins. I'm not sure if there's a procedure or..." Julie trails off, hoping that Shrike has been given enough to work with.

Reelshka's ears twitch. Yes, I can imagine... Jamie already takes after him a lot, though. And this is quite a lot of upcoming babies... you, Renetta and Julie. Brinika is going to be so excited.

"Jamie's going to be excited too. I'm not sure if she'll see them as playmates or herself as team mom, though." Quinn chuckles.

Yes, I've been in the redemption program since about a week after I came here, and didn't know about that end of things, so I never bothered moving out of my guest room. Do you know if there are any cabins free?" Julie would prefer to have one between her and Eric, but if she has to share then it will have to do. Anything would be better than a cramped single room.

"Maybe we should go to the kitchen? We can make some cake and load it into you for people to have!" Jamie suggests.

"Nobody told you? Hmpf." Shrike shakes her head. "We do have several open - any preferences? Close to the lake? Or just any old where?"
