"We all deserve it." Cassius tells the dwarf with a shrug before reaching down to help the elf up. Leah's voice and remark makes him smile slyly before he looks up at her. "Not as pretty as you though." He says, obviously trying to rile her up.

Leah flips Cassius off, and goes back to the punching bag to work out. Lob, the aristocratic orc, laughs. "Well put, my friend. Scum of the earth - every one of us."

The elf is a bit wary as Cassius helps him up, expecting a trick. When Cassius doesn't do anything, he mumbles something that might be thanks.

Cassius shrugs. "I guess that depends on how you view things, doesn't it? My own father was merely a genetic donor and I was grown in a tube. Some people would say we weren't kin, but I consider it so." He explains as he lays down on his bunk.

At that, Cassius just shrugs again. "Then he might not be kin to you, but like I said, others might consider it otherwise. Cultures don't interact too easily most times." He explains before giving the elf a serious look. "And you need to be careful here. There are plenty of Human Supremacists and Supremacists of other races too."

"I wouldn't listen to him if I were you, elf," says a raspy voice from behind Varo. "He has no idea what this place is really about."
If they look to see who's speaking, they will see a skinny goblin with pale grey skin and no hair on his head. The left side of his face appears quite injured, apparently by fire. His left eye is covered by an eyepatch, his right fang is a metal prosthetic and his left ear is torn up. Futhermore, his right hand is an artificial, metal one as well.

"You'll live through training at least. Jyarl won't kill us unless we give him reason to. As for when the real combat comes, we'll just have to work together for the best."

Varo looks at the two men and swallows hard. He could believe that the gruff talking goblin's claims. But Cassius did not seem like the kind of person who would behead people. Finally he looks down at his hands. "I killed my step-father. I poisoned him. He kept hitting my mother, and she wouldn't leave him."

Cassius doesn't reply to the elf's account right away, half out of the fact that he approved, but also for the fact that he wasn't supposed to approve of such actions. In the end though, Cassius just shrugs before offering his opinion. "Then the man deserved it, kin or not."
