The CRM game and the First Age game both kinda died in the recruitment stage about the time errata was looking likely to be out.

Sadly, not all mortals see raksha as the most adorable being in existence. For those stubborn enough to defy Love, raksha prepared pain. Room is attuned by commoner raksha lorekeeper and few minor behemoths-torturers.

Waypoint Knife [3] - noone escapes from Room.

Behemoth-Forging Meditation [3] - those who scream in pain Room send a blessing - healing of all wounds. The poor mortals soon realize that it is curse. [regeneration abomination]

This artifact looks like a 2-inch piece of chalk. When a simple shape is drawn on a solid surface and (1 mote per inch) essence is committed, a door through the surface to the other side is opened. The artifact shifts the material temporarily to Elsewhere and stays open as long as this essence is committed. This artifact cannot create a door through any of the magical materials or through essence created barriers.

I think we learned about the limitations of that RNG there The four identical dice seem... suspicious.

(He was such a nice Chosen of Secrets, too - the two Solars in question thought he was an awesome god-blood / enlightened mortal, and would probably have gone along quite happily with any halfway-reasonable-sounding plan he proposed. Oh well, presumably if he'd wanted us to remember him he would've worn an appropriate Destiny. I'm sure he'll show up again.)

HAH! Greater flaw of the Ebon Dragon: Virtue channels beat your defense. And the Orbital Friendship Cannon requires a compassion channel to employ.

Oh, that's easy. I know this one off the top of my head, because it applies to every human I've met.

Flaw (not even greater flaw) of Turalisj: Turalisj is a mortal. All effects that are capable of harming mortals add an additional 5 motes to the cost of a defense with this flaw which, being a mortal, Turalisj may not pay.

I've been reading up on the Fair Folk, and I'm surprised that there aren't any fully statted NPCs anywhere, aside from a couple of generic ones in the core that aren't even named. It strikes me that the game needs some signature Fair Folk NPCs - starting noble characters with names, backstories, and full stats. I'll have a go at making them myself, but I have a copy of questions:

First, four of the castes have an obvious "slot" in the setting: a Warrior from the East, who's part of the Opal Court and the Church of Balor, and so forth. This would save effort, but might come out a little too neat and simplified. So is it worth mixing it up a bit?

Second, what about Grace magic? Do all the characters need spells, oaths, and so on, or can most of them just use their charms? The core NPCs don't have any.

I think that every Fair Folk Caste tries to have an obvious 'Slot' of sorts... I recommend giving the NPCs stats without Grace magic, and then making (by which I mean allowing Meschlum to make) an Outward-Facing Oneiromancy that they would use on a town, an Adjuration that they might try to have someone swear to, and a favored Behemoth that they have as a pet/guard-dog. But the Grace magic should be seen as a plot hook with mechanics more than a proper part of their statline, unless they really need an Oneiromacy or Adjuration to do something important themselves - in which case it DOESN'T count for the trio I mentioned.

Keep in mind that a Fair Folk who runs out of Essence in Creation is going to die. As such, you don't want to spend your precious, precious motes on Charms, when the alternative is to have far fewer motes tied up in an Artifact that provides the exact same effects, and is always on, and which you technically don't even have to attune to yourself to get what you want out of it.

So, yeah, most Fair Folk are gonna make use of Grace artifacts.
