He grabs a key, then while passing he puts a hand on Elkie's shoulder for a while as a "everything will be fine" gesture, then goes to a room.

Tyalla nods to Marty, then heads back down to Shada. She leans over and whispers something in the pale woman's ear. Whatever it was must have had a calming effect, for Shada noticeably relaxes, and after a few moments thanks her and heads upstairs to rest.

Which leaves the morphling and Elkandar. She's decided to stay up so that she can keep a watch over Elkandar in case he needs her for anything. She sits next to him, strokes back his hair in what is rapidly becoming a signature move for her, and even leans down to kiss his forehead gently, telling herself it's sympathy that drives her and not anything else.

You'll be alright, Elkie. Get some sleep. I'll make sure nothing bad happens, she whispers to him.

Elio and Romeo stand up. "We'll need a room upstairs," the old man says to the Metaclock. When they get the room, they'll go up for the night.

Marty gets into bed. Warm...his bed is nice and warm. Tomorrow he's going to a very cold place. Marty packs various items into his magic bag before putting on hiss nightcap and sleeping.

Mart gets up and flops to the floor. Oof... Marty grumbles and steps out of his room. He starts to knock on everyone's doors and tells them to meet him downstairs. Marty heads downstairs.

So those whole time Ven has just been conspicuously listening in on the group's conversation to pick up the details. When Marty reappears once more he'll ask him whether he needs his help or not.

(When Mee and I were pming we went ahead and fast forwarded to the morning also, so I suppose we can just say we're on the same page now)

When he wakes up, he feels a little better. He gives Tyalla a "good morning" hug, then hops downstairs and makes a big batch of banana pancakes that turn out beautiful and delicious. There is more than enough for everyone!
