Thenadier's Interplanar Prison
Well, as he approaches the wall he'll be able to make out the scene curently unfolding in Tobias' office. A young woman is holding the gem. Tobias seems to be leaning against the wall. They're talking, but he just can't make out what they're saying. However, if he decides to look down off the sandy dune he'll be able to see footsteps, walking into the desert. The wall always seems to be a while away, no matter how far he walks. It's tantalizing. If he looks around he'll also see blood. A bloody wreck of an animal. It's a rather large maggot. Just lying on the dune, picked at by odd looking vultures with very sharp beaks. The giant maggot was obviously killed with a blade. It has flesh cut out, like someone was trying to eat it, but couldn't. Footsteps walk away from the scene.. Er...footstep. There's one foot, the other track is just a hole in the ground. How odd. This place is strange. He'll also see a water bottle! Still completely full! The hot sun shines down....poor Carmine is probably thirsty. (So, if you want to see what's happening in Tobias' room, read the recent Halo thread.
I''ll describe what Carmine can actually see.)

Magic ball! Yes, there is one. Nice to see Lathe is using his wits! The orb glows. AS Lathe approaches it it seems to beckon to be touched. Promising hidden secrets.
