Marciano sees Elkandar rushing and whips on his essence sapping punching daggers. As soon as Elkandar reaches for the rose, Marciano's daggers try to dig into the drow's stomach. If Marciano hits he'll twist the daggers inside Elkandar's guts. Oy! Wizard! Get th' drow off 'o' me!

Grantaire aims the cannon at Ven. Stop. Or I'll shoot.

Elkandar's stomach is sliced partially open, but he keeps grasping for the rose.

He has no time to respond to the elderly mage, seeing as how there's a bigger issue at hand. Why were they threatening him? He just stated that he had no problems with them now, and here they are pointing their stupid cannon at him. He is partly shocked when the drow gets practically disemboweled, but that's not his issue at the moment. Ven's voice reverts to a state of hostility.

"Bad choice there, ally. Go ahead and put your cannon away and maybe I won't have to eviscerate you. I'm asking you once and then you're dead."

A warning growl is all Marciano will receive as Tyalla leaps over to be right next to him. As in, her fangs are inches away from his face and paws with extended claws are within swiping distance. Remember her from before? The wolf who the halfling had to flee before she had the chance to fully recover from the shock of being stabbed? Well she's back, and her ears flat back against her skull, every muscled tensed and coiled, ready to spring. Let. Him. Go.

She doesn't want to hurt Marciano. The wolf? The wolf would love nothing more.

A six-foot-diameter sphere of multicolored tendrils walks into the main room of the Sleeping Goblin on three tendrils twisted into leglike shapes.

"Greetings, humanoids," it communicates telepathically. "I have been stranded on this world for nearly two hours and am dying of thirst. Are acidic liquids of any sort sold here, and does anyone have a map or ammunition for this weapon I believe is called an AK-47?"

Well, er....Let's say he goes through the back door....As the front is covered in a force field. Anyway, Metaclock the golem is behind the bar he speaks, Greetings! At the moment Marty is away, but I will serve you! You want an acidic drink? Metaclocks mechanical voice box whirs.

"Yes, acid is good for my digestion," communicates the sphere. "And could you put it in a resealable container? I may need to use it as a weapon later on. I have 250 round metal objects that I was told are usable as currency, will that cover it?"

Lumia says, giving a 'we'll talk after this' look/smile to Ven, then going over to the drow.
"Do you have anything I can use? Needles, thread, the like?"

She knows how to stitch people up, and stop bleeding and whatnot, but no magic.

If she looks, she'll find a dark purple needle and thread in Elkandar's pocket. He's still on Marciano, hopefully clutching the rose.

Outside

Not so far away, a Crusader's taking a worried look at a necklace's crystal, it's flashing weakly.

"I KNEW I should have wandered nearer to him! Don't worry buddy I owe you that one yet! I'm coming!"

The Crusader rushes directly at the direction the necklase's light's aiming at, would take him like 3 minutes to get where the necklace's telling him to. He goes there as to pay gratitude to the first friend he got after getting lost when he entered the nexus just a day ago.

[Slii Arhem]

Outside

Slii allows the mage to take care of Grantaire and the cannon, while the rat catcher finally discharges a crackling bolt of green lightning from his ethereal crown. This fleshwarping chaos magic sizzles the air, and if it strikes Marciano will attempt to force the bones out of whatever appendage it hits. This could be anywhere from incapacitating to fatal, as if the halfling is struck in the torso it could mean his spine and ribcage will be ripped from his body.

Oddly enough, the bolt swerves around people and obstacles in the way, being meant solely for the halfling.

The crusader is now 2 and a half minutes away (I think). He's got 10/20 mana, only knows 2 spells: Light Heal (5 Mana) and Wind strike (3 mana)

Marciano sees the crown and is just small enough to hide behind Elkandar. Marciano moves very quickly just as the bolt nears. Marciano merely sidesteps behind Elkandar. Using him as a feeble shield.

Grantaire lets go of the cannon which incidentally bashes Grantaire's foot as he falls. Grantaire screams loudly as he's dragged into the pit. The noise would distract Tyalla, just about everyone really...

If there is no way for the bolt to hit Marciano without also hitting Elkandar, it will splatter harmlessly against the ground next to them.

Now that Ven's no longer threatened he really has no stake here. He had gotten his money that was owed to him and thus no longer had an issue with Marciano. Elio wasn't going to give him the three thousand, but he did clearly state that was only if things went "south". Fair is fair. Things were actually going according to plan for once in this whole debacle, except for that rat firing magic at Marciano. Well, it's not his issue, so it looks like it's time to head on out. Oh right, he forgot the odd female had wanted to pester some more after this. Should he help her or stay out of it? This was a good opportunity to see how she handles herself, so he supposes he'll wait it out for now.

Ven sheathes his weapons and disappears for now. Only if someone was extremely perceptive could they see him reappear in the branches of a nearby tree, being that it's night and he's practically a ninja. He will observe the upcoming conflict, if there is any.

Alright, then I suppose it's Tyalla's turn to reach out with giant paws, try to hook her claws into Elkandar's clothes, and yank him backwards and off of Marciano so that others may harm him while her primal instincts edge them on.

She stands up on her hind legs and begins to morph. Her snout and tail suck in, her fur vanishes, she shrinks... moments later the elf stands in place of the wolf, and she's ready to help. I don't know the first thing about this, she admits.

Tyalla's hesitant to leave Elkandar here, on the ground, bleeding, surrounded by people with questionable motives. If she was a wolf she'd give Lumia a nice loud growl and stay. But she wasn't, and she was a trusting soul in elf form. She goes running off to find everything and bring it back as fast as she could.
