    Initiative: Axara, Savin, enemies, [action stopped here], Rayen, Maesyn, Ryxikor, Quill

    Rayen continues to attacks H but this time is trying to knock him off and not kill him. She succeeds in hitting him but does little damages.

    Maesyn moves next to the dominated spell casters, ready t o attack them if needed while avoiding AoO. He tries to convince them to give up until he remembered what the high level Mystrans in Wheloon shared with Axara and the group. The starry gnosis creates a magical based domination which expires naturally after a certain number of days. A dispel magic spell would clear it. Only if the dominated person does something really against their will, like attacking a friend (what happened to Savin) can the dominated person has a change to break the spell.

    Ryxikor moves next to the double door, distancing himself from the fight as he is aware of his injuries. He listens to the door but does not hear anything.

    Quill moves near Maesyn and unleashes his wand of color spray, although its useless so far is annoying him a great deal. Only Z succumbs to its effects. And fall to the ground unconscious.

    Axara moves next to Ryxikor and taps him with the wand to heal him. Both look disappointed as the healing is not that powerful.

    The Mystran moves 5 feet by the entrance continues to hit Rayen. Once again the dragon shaman hide armor protects her.

    Savin suffers the secondary effects of the alchemist fire but it is minimal.

    Ryx, totally surprised his ears won't work at the same time one of his hands does, wonders what could be going on inside the keep to cause his motor skills and his hearing to mess up so much. The elf not knowing if his eyesight and his hand will work together, stares at tthe door handle to memorize where it's location, in case he goes blind trying to check to see if the handle will turn or if its locked. After he's comfortable knowing where the handle is, he tentatively reaches out for the handle, fully expecting to go blind when he grabs it. In complete darkness, (in case he's blind), Ryx grips the door handle and tries to turn it to see if its locked. After he figures it out, he quickly releases the handle hoping his sight comes back.

    Third time is a charm the saying goes but quill just knows it wasn't tailored for combat.

    Knowing he wouldn't be of much help the accounted puts his wands away and tries disarm the unconscious purple robes of the spell combounend pouch scrolls an other weapons.

    Savin sees the person with the wild look in their eye fall and turns his attention back to the Mystran, his feet moving as if his boots were filled with stones.
    Feeling his muscles twitch and burn as he lashes out with his chain, he grits his teeth and fights through it with a very audible "Grraarrr!"

    Rayen is getting annoyed that the Mystran continues to engage her so stop caring about non-lethal damages and hit him with the intent to hurt him and succeeds.

    Maesyn moves to flank the Mystran and thank to that diversion, is able to hit the man in a non-lethal way. The Mystran is now on the brink. (<20% of HP).

    Ryxikor moves finds double door unlocked and opens it. Across the room he sees a pile of refuse lying in the room, a heap of dead plants mixed with bones, leather, and other trash. The rest of the floor is clear.

    Quill moves next to unconscious Z and relieves him of his spell component and dagger.

    Axara looks at the Mystran and yells “Brother! You are under a spell because of the starry gnosis and the fake ritual of Mystra’s Sacred trust ceremony. This was Shar at work, using falseness and treachery in the name of Mystra to dirty The Lady of Mystery name! I am a Mystran like you. I wears Mystra symbol! Stop fighting now and let me remove that spell that is clouding your mind.

    Savin tries to trip H but fails to touch him.

    The Mystran moves 5 feet into the yard, and casting defensively, heals himself. All his wounds heal as the healing spell heals the non-lethal damages.

    Ryx cautiously walks forward, holding his dagger tightly, towards the refuse in the room. Once past the doorway, he looks for danger. If nothing happens, the elf uses the point of his dagger and spreads out the pile of refuse to see if anything interesting may be found, he especially looks over the 'leather' to see if it's anything special and if it may have writing on it. If anything seems dangerous, he wates no time and tumbles out of the room, popping back up in a defensive posture.

    Savin lets out a bellows out as his arms continue to sink lower and lower after each attack, the sweat dripping across the pained expression on his face as he continues to fight on.

    "Don't let him get a away." is all he can manage to say to Rayen and Maesyn as he strikes again, the chain flying past Rayen's flank.

    Maesyn tries to tumble past the Mystran but fails to do so. It generates an attack of opportunity. The Mystran hits the bard very hard, bringing close to unconsciousness.

    Savin is able to trip H but do not hit him when he is on the ground.

    The Mystran, on the ground, grabs his head and looks up at Axara “Thank you. Thank you Sister. Thank you for freeing my mind. I have been under that spell since Wheloon.” He looks at Savin “Can I get up? My name is Halish and I am a loyal servant of Mystra.”.

    Rayen lowers her mace after staring at the man on the ground for a few moments. She is breathing heavy and injured but not so much so that she takes notice at this second. She walks around the man and bends down to check on the felled bard. "Axara, if you have a moment, our singing friend needs your help."

    Ryx's eyebrows raise, with an accompanying "Hmph" as he eyes the two prizes. Once the elf prepares to move back with the others to help them submit the dominated cleric, he hears an unknown pleading voice, and figures they have the situation under control. So the elf pokes back down into the rummage, sifting through it with his dagger point again. Still being in this room alone, with more unopened doors around that someone or something could burst out of at any moment, Ryx is prepared to jump into a couple forward rolls, taking him out of the room if any strange movements occur.

    Maesyn, damaged greatly by Halish’s mace, falls to the ground bleeding and breathing with difficulty. Rayen go check on him and asks Axara for help. Before the priestess can answer Halish gets up under the surveillance of Savin.

    The cleric says “Let me take care of it. After all, I was responsible for your injuries. I am so sorry but was not the master of my action.” He approaches Maesyn and holding the symbol of Mystra, starts an invocation. He touches the bard and nearly all his wounds heal.

    Halish continues “We should take poor Dava, Mephios and Zephan and gag and tie them because when they regain consciousness, they will have to follow Bestra’s orders to attack you, even if you killed the bitch.” He points to the body of the armored woman.

    Halish goes inside the keep and moves to the room to the left. Among debris and trash, there are 4 bed rolls on the ground. Halish speaks up “This is where we waited before our next leg of the journey. We were 9 but 5 were already taken. I know that the spell ends at one point because we were exposed to the starry gnosis before our departure from the Temple of Mystra in Wheloon, about 7 or 8 days ago. Do you have ropes?

    Axara puts a piece of cloth around the 3 purple robes unconscious humans and asks “Any one has a rope and know how to make tight knots?

    In the meantime Quill has collected 2 spell component pouch, 2 daggers, 4 potions and 5 alchemist fires for the other two arcanists he had not looted. He tries to remember is any of the names or faces made the Purple Dragons missing list but he cannot tell.

    While this is happening, Ryxikor searches the trash a little more, always worry about some danger popping up. Nothing happen and he finds nothing of value other than a hunk of obsidian.

    Rayen rocks back on her heels when the man comes over to heal the bard. She keeps a close eye on his movements, not yet trusting him. She allows a small smile when the bard is healed of almost all of his wounds.

    When Axara asks about rope, Rayen pulls out a length of silk rope from her pack and moves over to each of the robed men. She rolls them all on their sides before binding their wrists and ankles. Then she treads a piece through the knots, bending them backwards a little bit and locking their arms and legs together by rope.

    When finished she stands up and looks around. "Now what?"

    "You have my thanks, Dweomerkeeper, and I do not hold your prior actions against you," he says. His voice is sincere, although it's clear his intellect is fighting his baser instincts in determining fault. It is very difficult for one to accept healing from a man who just nearly killed one. "I understand how difficult it is to break the hold of the Gnosis. Our friend Savin here has personal knowledge of that."

    Maesyn takes a few deep breaths to recenter himself before returning his rapier to its sheath. "Is everyone accounted for, then? This is a sizable keep, and I admit my nerves are expecting a legion of undead lizardfolk, accompanied by several shadovar, to attack at any moment."

    Rayen pulls out a silk rope of her backpack and start tying the 3 gagged unconscious humans. Zephan comes out of the state he was in and you can see in his eyes that he wants to fight but being gagged and bound take care of the issue. The other two are still unconscious.

    Halish looks at Maesyn “Thank you for understand Silver Elf. Trust me when I say it chagrined me knowing I could have really hurt you. And you can thank Lady Axara here. Her offering herself to become my target gave me the will to break the spell. A Mystran will never hurt another true Mystran if they can prevent it.

    Axara gives a little nod to Halish and asks “So what do we do? Do we rest and regain our spells and strength or do we keep moving deeper in the keep?

    Rayen asks about the inhabitants of the keep. Halish replies “[/b]There are undead lizardfolk in the keep but usually they send them outside to get more lizardfolk to turn into undead. The shadar-kar is different. I have never seen anyone coming in but seems to be coming from inside the keep. And there are other creatures of evil inside this keep. I am with you if you want me or I can stay here and guard these 3 until the spell is lifted.[/b]”

    When Quill finished with the last purple robed he attention wanders to the dead priestess, a bloody heap of priestess. "I am not touching that" the wizard shakes his head in disgust.


    "I could use a rest, i am spent. But where to open sattioned we should find a room that could be reforged and disconnected from the traffic in this building....     Ryx looks at the chunk of obsidian, and gives it a shrug, not as happy with it as he was with the potion and oil, but he drops it into his pouch with the others anyway. Ryxikor, his senses on high alert, makes sure nothing else is in the room before turning his full attention to the next unopened door. Organripper still in hand, the elven warrior moves swiftly to the door, he listens to the door and checks to see if it's locked. Curiosity getting the better of him, if Ryx hears nothing and the door is unlocked, he slowly turns the handle and peeks inside, ready to spring away if needed.

    Quill proposes that the group rests if they can find a safe location.

    Maesyn is not crazy at the idea of resting because he is worried about losing the upper hand and letting the enemy recover and reorganize.

    Axara just shakes her up "There are pluses and minuses to both approaches. I am fine with whatever the group decides to do."

    In the meantime, Ryxikor continues his exploration alone. He finds the doors not locked and he opens the door. Nothing jumps at him. The room is L-shaped and is filled with dancing shadows. Two corners of the room are partially caved in, with rubble scattered on the floor and the sky visible through poorly repaired holes on the ceiling. There is a bed and an open chest with women clothes piled neatly. A lantern hangs by the doorway shedding shadowy illumination in a 120 feeet radius without emitting any bright light.

    A headless statue similar to the one in the entry stands in a corner of this room. This statue depicts an armored woman.

    Hoping the dancing shadows are just flickering torches, Ryx decides to leave this area, until, until he sees an open chest. The elf gives a whistle to the others, then slowly moves into the room to investigate the chest. If anything surprises the elf, especially anything breathing, he rushes out of the room. When he is happy with his search of the bed, including under the mattres and under the entire bed, he seaches the statue for any hidden compartments.

    Maesyn inspects the dead woman's corpse, removing anything that might be useful ... or might be used against them should someone else come upon it. He then joins Ryx in the other room, explaining whom the statue depicts.

    Savin, relieved that they will not have to continue to fight, nods to Axara as he moves with leaden steps.
    "I do not look forward to fighting more of the Shadowslain but I feel spent right now. I don't know how useful I would be in a fight." With that, he takes a step and leans against the nearest wall.

    Maesyn goes over the bloody corpse of the woman. He finds a wand that looks very similar to the wand Axara use to heal people, a scroll that the read magic spell identify as a scroll of divine powers, a MW full plate, a MW light steel shield, a MW heavy mace, a cloak and a blank holy symbol similar to the one find on the other fake Mystrans in Wheloon.

    Ryxikor searches the room and other than women clothes of the common type, find nothing of value in the room he discovered.

    The group decides to go back to the guard house and barricade themselves. They bring in the 3 dominated spell casters, still tied and bound.
    Quill remembers finding a key on one of the dead guards and uses it to lock the guard house. Axara and Halish use they spells to heal everyone to the maximum and the resting wait start

    Savin starts the first watch, followed by Ryxikor, Rayen and finally Axara. They stand by the door; listening but none of them hear any noise. They have no idea what the enemy is doing inside and outside the keep.

    The portcullis did get open but without dark vision, it is impossible to know what came through as the will’O’wisp seem to have disappeared.
