No, I understand wholeheartedly. A fight for fun like this is no time to risk your creatures. But instead of paying extra money, could I talk to you about that bird that gave Drago such a solid hit? I've been seeking a flying beast to help round out my lineup, and he seems to really pack some power into his tiny frame.

Also, could I trouble you to send out your last monster, just so that I might see it? I'm trying to make my list of them a bit more comprehensive. I'll be sure to do the same.

Edon calls back Drago and sends out Kite for the other trainer to scan.

Her last pokemon turns out to be a drowzee.

She pays you what you are due and says, "Well, if you really want Morticia here, I can be persuaded to trade her. What are you offering?"

The friend I'm traveling with recently was forced to give up his dream of training, at least for now. Grumbled something about his family obligations weighing him down, and handed me a lot of his supplies, as well as a couple of his creatures. If you like the look of Kite here, I have a similar one with me, as well as 2 empty crystals to sweeten the deal a bit. Good for a start? I'll throw in a gold piece as well.

"A Sentret? Thanks, but no thanks. I can get one of those just about anywhere. No, I want one of those Gollet. Anything that so can beat a type disadvantage is well worth owning."

Edon looks at Menarker's Golett crystal with uncertainty.

Davis did say to do with them as I wanted....and I suppose I can always train a creature for him to replace this if he ever decides to take this life up again. Fine; Golett for Morticia.

He holds the crystal out to her.

Level 8 Femal Murkrow

The changeover occurs, and Edon looks at his new acquisition.

Thank you. I think this will be just what I needed. Might I ask your name? If I ever find myself in these parts again I'd like to have a rematch.

After parting ways with the trainer Edon will head back to the healer to have the Murkrow and Zorua restored, then go to the inn for the night, giving his Pokemon the usual healing for a rest. He'll wave hello to Davis on his way out in the morning, pick up the completed potions from the healer and then look around the wilderness near this village, seeing what there is to see.

"Find out," she say with a wink, walking away before you can stop her.

You quickly find David and have a short conversation with him. He manages to talk his family into allowing you to stay the night for free.

The healer happily gives you your potions.

As you head out into the wilds a flock of birds fly overhead. Nothing seems to be around until out of the corner of your eye you catch a flash of fire. Turning quickly you manage to get a better look at it. It looks like a horse, but it is completely ablaze.

Actually I was paying the 2 gold to get Eclipse and the new Murkrow healed to full by the healer. The others were the ones getting healed by resting.

Edon scans the equine.

I think I might really miss Davis right about now...
