[Dave and Clarissa's Nightmare House]

Mmmm! How sweet! There's nothing more gratifying than the squelch of a weak mortal being expiring in the morning, especially if the creature is...was irritating.

Sadly, Clarissa's triumph is bittersweet, tart even, as her lower leg slips beneath the floorboards, splintering ruined wood and penetrating deeper into the dark house. At least she discovered the potential consequences of curtaining Dave upstairs before it was too late.

"Dave! Whatever you do, don't jump up and down on the floor! It'll give! I know this from experience!"

"Meet me in the cellar!"

With those loudly shouted (and possibly poorly chosen) words, a deep breath, and no small amount of courage, Clarissa attempts to soundly whack the ground to the side of the hole with a fist, hopefully liberating her leg from its hole and dropping down into the surreal shadows of the heart of the house.

Elena is laying on Tirins chest once it comes up.
"We...should probably go take a shower if we're to stick with our plan..." she said as she got up and strutted to the bathroom.

Dave and Clarissa's House
Dave sighs and teleports himself into the cellar.
Why? Because legs are for losers who can't teleport.
However, since he still isn't all too skilled at it yet, he has appeared a couple feet in the air.
Though he lands on his legs before he touches the floor though, making it seem like he planned it.
And when Clarissa breaks through he puts his arms out to catch her.

Empathic feedback loops can be quite draining, especially on whoever is acting as the intensifier. A problem worsened when one doesn't want to eat any of the emotions being intensified and their partner isn't capable of taking over the job at times. So it takes a minute for Tirin to follow Elena, though once he does, he'll be quite happy to help her get cleaned up.

And she'll be more than happy for him to help her.
Once that curtainy scene is done, and she's dried off and clothed, she tries to take Tirin by the hand and lead him outside to the car.

I was thinking that everything from there to dinner would end up offscreen, but sure, if you want to. I'm sure the various stores in the Nexus have plenty of interesting things for sale, after all.

She gets into the car and starts it, waiting for him to get in as well.

Dave and Clarissa's House

One good punch does the trick, the sharp application of force sufficient to break the tenous balance of rotten boards and crumbling plaster beneath, causing a hefty portion of the floor to give way entirely and collapse down towards the cellar below in a shower of debree, presumably bringing Clarissa with it.

Said cellar, once Clarissa and Dave have had time to survey it, will prove to be quite drastically different from the rest of the house. Rather than the generally grand architecture of the manor above, the basement level has little in the way of aesthetics, little more than an man-made cave roughly hollowed out from the bedrock upon which the house is built, inhabited by a fair population of mosses and unlit except for some dim illumination filtered through the newly made hole in the roof above.

Indeed, even cursory knowledge of architecture would confirm that this 'cellar' was made well after the rest of the house and poorly so, with no visible columns, beams nor rafters to hold up the roof overhead; hence the reason the floor of the above room collapsed so easily. It holds little currently, a row of empty one wine racks along one wall, a column of shelving across the other, the relatively dry air having kept these items of furniture well preserved. What might be of interest are the books, stacked in untidy piles on the farthest left of the shelves, most of them large and bound in either leather or a reasonable facsimile of such. Spellbooks by the look.

Two doors, one ajar and leading to the ascending stairs, the second one closed and at least given a token attempt at obscurement behind one of the wine racks, lead out.

Defelent's House

Defelent's staring, which is doubtless Naethalee's intent. He is quite content to just stand there and stare for a few moments whilst Naethalee dries herself.

Very much her intent.
And she...thoroughly...dries herself off, before turning her back, snapping the towel over her shoulder, and grinning back at Defelent!

[Meanwhile, at a somewhat more private beach than Beachside...]

...two young lovebirds arrive at the beach, Crissy and Dorota likely walking hand in hand.

The two lovebirds do indeed arrive here. Dorota takes a good look around as soon as they approach the beach, quite curious. It's really a new experience for her.

Defelent grins back. He runs his eyes over her again before reaching for some underwear to put on. Unless Naethalee tries to pull the curtain, anyway.

It's probably a small, curved cove with soft white powery sand, an umbrella and a covered picnic table.
Crissy smiles broadly!
"It's, like, been forever since I've been here...I'd even totally forgotten where it was!"

It looks really nice. Quiet and private... Dorota smiles. Just don't expect me to do much swimming.

"Oh, that's OK! I should get some sun more than swimming anyway," Crissy giggles, beaming adoringly at Dorota!

I look forward to that, Dorota says with a mischevious smile as she looks around for a place to get changed.

after checking a few more room, Din nods "this will do very nicely...yes" the elf smiles "tomorrow, I can start finding some members...but for now...a nice meal and a good nights sleep would do" and with a loud yawn she turns around, and heads back towards the kitchen " do you want anything too? you do eat, don't you ?"

Trium shrugs, pressing a cleverly disguised button so that the table in the center of the floor rises, as do a pair of chairs, one of which she sits in.

"Simple is fine. I stopped expecting food like I got as an empress a long time ago."

Din shrugs "just curious for now...so yeah... where do you think we should look for members then? I take it you're not going to join WARDEN so far..."

"I might, actually. Why wouldn't I? But as for where to find members, that depends on who you want. Putting something up on the Wall about a new Org might be a good place to start, though."

"True enough," Trium agrees, smiling, and standing as well. "And the issue with other types of organization is that someone has to be able to act as arbiter, whether that's more than one person with a gestalt identity like we used, or more traditional methods."
