"I could just put out the fire! Or something. Just tell me what I'm supposed to do." Hannah replies with a curious expression.

[Hannah's Mind]

You are? Huh. Well, she's in riverside now last time I checked if you want to help her.

Kate's Apartment

Kate shakes her head. "I would like to help, but I can't fight attackers, or fire, and I'm not strong enough to lift people and drag carry them out or anything. I'm afraid I would just get in the way."

Silly girl seems to have forgotten the energy shield, arm blade, the laser arm that she can put on, her jump boots, and the pixie dust. All those things could be useful in such a situation.

"And I'm a freaking cat! You can HELP!" Reinholdt counters. Well... I think that probably trumps her argument. He's still going.

Kate's Apartment

"I could just put out the fire! Or something. Just tell me what I'm supposed to do." Hannah replies with a curious expression.

"We need to get there and stop the goblin and pour water on whatever fire's already there." Reinholdt says. After which point he stops dallying and starts moving per the instructions he got to leave and get to the Animal Shelter.

"Okay, pour water on it!" Hannah exclaims before she suddenly disappears.

Point made and taken, Kate will follow the Mechanikitty out of the apartment, locking it behind her, and to the animal shelter. She's not sure what she's going to be able to do, but the cat made a point and be it far from her to deny logic.

Defelent's House

Defelent's House[/B]Tracy might be allowed to wear the clothes when Defelent knows Naethalee is visiting to prove the gift is in use.

Also, it's a pan, not a pot, and frying rather than boiling. But it's the same principle, yes.

Shortly after she left, Tracy returns. "He's a bit groggy, but he's awake now. Which is good; breakfast will be ready soon." Tracy quickly starts to dish out the bacon, eggs, mushrooms and black pudding.

"Is there anything I could do to help?" Naethalee asks Tracy once she returns, otherwise quietly sipping her mango juice.

Defelent's House

"Yes, actually- can you grab a tray from next to the fridge and help me load it?" Tracy is fast at dishing the fried bacon, eggs and black pudding onto three plates. She does it daily, and scarcely needs to think about it any more. In fact, it's all on plates now.

Naethalee nods, and quickly sets about seizing the tray in question!
Then sets the plates out on the tray, not with as much practiced speed, but fairly quickly.

Defelent's House

"Thank you. Would you mind having breakfast with us? You don't have to; you can stay downstairs if you want." Tracy can easily carry the tray, and grabs two glasses and the pineapple and coconut juice and adds those to the tray before she turns to leave.

"I wouldn't mind at all," Naethalee says with a smile, turning to follow Tracy to join them for breakfast!

Defelent's House

When Tracy and Naethalee arrive at Defelent's bedroom, he's still in bed wearing no clothes. "Looks like I'm the only one who isn't over dressed for this party." He's smiling as he says it; he's joking. Probably, anyway. Tracy gives a nervous smile, anyway, as she hands him a tray with his breakfast on it before clambering into the bed next to him. "Why don't you join us, Nymiiria?" Defelent pats the bed next to him- it's large enough for her to get in as well.

The breakfast is all gorgeous- Tracy knows how to cook a proper fried breakfast.

Naethalee chuckles and slips into bed opposite Tracy, reacing across for a sampling of bacon, with which to slowly nibble at.
"Overdressed, underdressed, these matter not when there is bacon."

Defelent's House

"No, I suppose they don't." Defelent smiles and ensures there's enough room on that side for Naethalee to get in. This is possible without him taking up too much of Tracy's space, since the bed is easily large enough for three people.

And thus breakfast in bed is devoured!
Naethalee being surprisingly 'proper', only snuggling a bit.

Defelent's House

Defelent will try to snuggle quite a lot as he eats, with both Naethalee and Tracy. At one point, he'll take a piece of toast up and steer it towards Naethalee's mouth, trying to feed it to her.

Naethalee will try to get the lion's share of the snuggles.
And will chuckle and happily accept being fed!
Possibly giving Defelent a pinch while doing so.

Defelent's House

Naethalee will get more snuggles than Tracy, but only slightly more; Defelent does this sort of thing regularly with Tracy, but not often with anybody else (or even anybody else and Tracy). Defelent jumps when he's pinched, and returns the favour by pinching Naethalee.

Naethalee chuckles, and wags a finger at Defelent before seizing a glass of juice.

Defelent's House

When he's sure she's distracted and not paying any attention to him or his hands, he tries to pinch her again to make her jump and spill the juice.

He thinks if her top gets wet, she'll take it off.

I think it's more likely that she'll hit him.

At that point Naethalee, who did spill juice on herself, gives Defelent a punch on the arm, and chuckles as she wags her finger. "Naughty boy!"

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sure Tracy will lend you one of her tops, should you want one." Defelent grins; he'd certainly have no trouble with Naethalee wandering around topless for a day.

He has a lot of trouble with impulse control, it seems.

Kate's Apartment

Julie arrives, having looked Kate up in the phonebook (blast that dratted thing and its useful information), and she's hoping against hope that Kate is home, rather than job hunting, or chasing fey through parks, or other various things.

She'll knock lightly on the door, hoping for some kind of answer.

Kate's Apartment

"One moment!"

After a moment, a brown spider about the size of your hand will open the door. Don't ask how; she presumably got creative.

"...Can I help you?"

Kate's Apartment

Ah, well that was unexpected. Maybe she had the wrong apartment?

"Excuse me, does Kate Kyland live here? I was looking for her." Julie peers through the door into the apartment, as much as possible anyway, looking for signs of other life without trying to appear nosy.

"Yeah, I'm her roommate. She isn't in right now. How do you know her?"

Not much she can see from the door, unfortunately. The door isn't open very far...

"Nice to meet you, my name's Julie, Kate has been working with me a bit in GLoG. Some things have come up, and I wanted to invite her over to see my babies." No sense boring the spider with all the stupid details about people she doesn't know or care about.

"Do you know when she'll be back? Maybe I'll just leave a note for her."

"Oh, hi. She's told me about you. I'm Sophie. I'm not sure when she'll be back, sorry. I'll let her know that you were here to invite her to see your babies. She's been really busy making a resume and doing research. Not sure what she's off doing right now. Anyway, yeah, I'll let Kate know."

After no doubt having an enjoyable few days, Kara smacks her player over the head!

...she's probably on the phone at the moment. Possibly with Aeryn, and looking somewhat consternated.


Defelent's House

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sure Tracy will lend you one of her tops, should you want one." Defelent grins; he'd certainly have no trouble with Naethalee wandering around topless for a day.

Naethalee just laughs and gives Defelent's shoulder a playful smack before going to consume the rest of her meal.

Defelent grins, and shall also move towards finishing his meal. Although he's doing it rather slowly, with one hand beneath the sheet. Whatever the hand is doing, it's making Tracy squirm and jump a fair bit.

"Nice to make your acquaintance Sophie. Mind if I come in and write it all down? There's more to it than just the babies, and I don't want to force you to remember it all." Julie shifts from one foot to the other, feeling a bit awkward at being left in the hallway.

"Sure."

Sophie will open the door to the little apartment. Not much going on in here... a couch, a coffee table, an end table, a thing floating around cleaning the telephone on the lamp table. Two doors, one open to a restroom and one shut. A tv. A Kitchenette.
