Well, generally my owners had me for a specific purpose, but here I'm just sorta here.

Vo nods, helping wake the other gals up.

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

"Do you prefer that, though?"

[Lab]

Once they're both awake, Talina will, somewhat reluctantly, stand, stretching, before going to pick up Nycca.

"Can you think of anything we need to do to get ready before we head over?"

[Beans]

[AP]
It was nice having a little job to help my owner, but I guess I like this better.

Nycca grins.
Get Vo into those clothes we got her a little while ago.
The black pants and dark red leather top have been hanging in her closet, untouched.

Vo blinks.
Um... o-okay?

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

Velendri smiles.

"Good... I'm glad you enjoy it here."

[Lab]

Talina grins as well, but, noting Vo's hesitancy, glances over at the undead scientist .

"Only if she's okay with that."

[Beans]

[AP]
Aseti grins, scooting close.

She nods.
Just a little nervous...

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

The Flamedancer grins back at the coyote girl, and goes to rub her belly, as well as scratch her ears.

[Lab]

Talina goes to hug Vo briefly, and then start helping her into the new clothes, as the sopholich isn't showing any signs of getting into them on her own.

"Alright. If you want, though, we can take your normal clothes too, in case you change your mind."

[Beans]

[AP]
Aseti immediately loses the ability to comprehend of a time when she didn't adore Velendri.

Vo is suited up in her new clothes, which look quite nice on her.
She smiles and blushes in gratitude.

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

The memory of that time likely gets buried even deeper, as Velendri has no intention of stopping any time soon.

Karyana wakes up, though she doesn't do much, being perfectly content to simply snuggle Xyta for now, as she finds it helps take her mind off of everything, which is one of the reasons she keeps falling asleep on the catgirl.

[Lab]

The sorceress smiles back, and goes to take Vo and Jen's hands, then lead them out to the meetup, presumably with Nycca in her customary place on Talina's back.

[Beans]

Xyta dozes, content.

Aseti nuzzles Velendri in brainless bliss.

Nycca takes her usual place and...

They arrive! The gals are all very excited to see them, and are especially happy that Vo has finally come.

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

Karyana smiles, idly petting the catgirl.

Velendri grins, enjoying the nuzzling, and continues, though, eventually, her arms will get tired, and she'll pause, going to snuggle up to Aseti.

[Meetup]

Talina is quite happy to see them, too, and is probably grinning all through the greetings and introductions.

"Why didn't you come here when you were invited before?", the sorceress asks, once things have settled down a bit.

And so we have two pairs of snuggles!

I was... I'd always get nervous and back out and send a letter apologizing for not coming.

[Lady Serpentine]

Which likely continues for quite a while, though Karyana moves the couch they're on forward, and Velendri sits up a bit, to get a better view, when Aernel heads back down to the arena.

[Meetup]

"Why did you get nervous about it? I mean, you know most of the people here, don't you?"

[Beans]

[AP]
Xyta watches, but Aseti is too busy making little happy noises.

I don't know.
One of the gals sitting next to Vo puts an arm around her.

[Lady Serpentine]

Xyta will likely be relieved, as rather than another combat, it appears to be part performance, in that the group in the arena is finally showing why they're called Flamedancers, and part some sort of magic, fueled by the dance, which is replaying, as though it's being put on just now, a rather interesting historical, for this part of the dimension, dramatization.

[Meetup]

As does Talina.

"Alright... Why is it you did come with us, then?"

[Beans]

[AP]
Xyta watches closely, intrigued.

Well, um... it's easier to tell myself I'll just go next year when it's just me and not me and three other girls who want me to come...

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

The first act is mostly mythological, dealing with the creation of the world.

Velendri, in the pause between the first and second acts, goes to get up and head down as well, though she won't appear in the arena just yet.

[Meetup]

Talina smiles at her.

"I suppose that makes sense. And I guess it would make you a little less nervous to know that you'd have people there specifically with you..."

[Beans]

[AP]
Aseti watches too, then.

She nods, smiling.

The second act, which Velendri is still not part of the fueling team for, deals with everything from the start of their civilization to the creation of the Flamedancers, which, though unfortunately I haven't yet decided on the details, should be fairly interesting.

[Meetup]

Talina smiles as well, and goes to rest her head on Vo's shoulder, waving to the elf who kissed her at the last meetup.

[Beans]

[AP]
Both Xyta and Aseti watch, very interested.

The gal waves back; Vo blushes, smiling.

The first half of the third act details the breaking up of their civilization into several smaller groups, while the second skips forward around twenty years, and shifts focus, going from the general overview that the play has been using to a more traditional style, focusing mainly on a group of nobles in the largest of the sections, along with some shifts to those of the rest, and an outside party, as all three sections try to prepare for a potential invasion without upsetting the delicate balance between each other.

Talina goes to take Vo's hand, and give it a reassuring squeeze, while motioning for the elf to come over.

The gals take it all in.

She trots over, smiling.
"Hi Talina! Hi Vo!"

The fourth and fifth acts detail, respectively, the conquest of their civilization, which was accomplished by the outside party making an attack on the largest group, and arranging things so that it appeared to them that the other two had been responsible, and were working with the outside force, while it appeared to the mid-and-smallest-sized ones that it had been on e of the others doing the same, leading to all three attacking each other, and left a clear path for invasion when they were weakened.

The crowd hushes expectantly at the end of the fifth act, and a heavy curtain is raised over the arena.

Talina smiles back at the elf, and goes to pull her onto her lap.

"Hey, Sherry!* How have you been?"

*I think that was her name, anyway...

[Beans]

Xyta and Aseti are engrossed in the complexity!

Sherry giggles.
"I've been great, how're you?"

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

It takes quite a while for the curtain to be pulled back; when it is, the arena has been redone as a city after the war shown in act five, and Velendri, whose disappearance seems to have been due to makeup and costuming, is meeting several others, apparently nobles who have been allowed to keep their positions.

Throughout the act, a plan to assassinate various generals and nobles of the invading force at the same time, and use the resulting confusion to place someone they can manipulate on the throne, is developed, alongside one to make the current rulers believe that Flamedancers are simply entertainers, so that they have the freedom to act as any other citizen, and can act against the garrisons in the cities if needed.

Talina grins at her.

"We've been pretty good. Met someone new...", the sorceress replies, looking to see where Jen is.

[Beans]

They watch, awed.

Jen is being fawned over by a few gals, enjoying the attention.

[AP]

The curtain falls once again at the end of the second act, for yet another scene change, during which Velendri returns, and goes to sit down next to Aseti again.

"So, what do all of you think of it?"

[Meetup]

Talina's grin widens, and she points to the Gaunt girl.

"That's her, there. She'd broken into our place while we were in Mallside, and had just finished taking a shower when we got back... She was pretty messed up, so we took her in, and it turned out the three of us got along quite well."

[Beans]

[AP]
She bounces excitedly.
THAT WAS SO COOL IT'S THE BEST THING EVER.

Sherry grins. "She's a cutie, alright."

[The Bushranger]

Talia smiles, enjoying the snuggling, and proceeds to do pretty much exactly what she just described, essentially placing them in a steam room, though they stay dry.

Dani delightedly dozes for awhile, smiling softly, before beginning to wake up.

[Lady Serpentine]

[AP]

"Was? It's not over yet... They're just doing a pretty major scene change, and I'm not on for a few scenes past the start anyway, so I came up to see what everyone thought."

[Meetup]

"That she is. Though hardly the only one here...", Talina replies, smiling happily, and going to kiss Sherry's neck.

[Moor]

Talia smiles, still holding her, though the two are now laying on a bed made of water.

"Hey... You feeling better?"

[Beans]

Xyta smiles.
