By the time they're done, the Griever is actually smiling again, and starts to work on semi-private space for the Oracle.

Talina probably follows most of it, and asks for clarification of anything that she doesn't, nestling against Vo as they talk.

Karyana holds the kiss until Tsiln breaks off, grinning.

[Beans]

[Gaunts]
Theia works on making the structure more stable; the Oracle is glad to have a place to be alone and think.

Vo helpfully explains, snuggling close.

Tsiln breaks off only for a few seconds at a time, and even then only occasionally.

The Griever's smile widens; she's glad of the help, and appreciates the gesture too.

"Thanks."

[Motel]

Talina smiles, nuzzling her neck.

"Maybe next time I'm over at your place, we can talk about stuff like this more."

[W5]

Karyana certainly doesn't object in the slightest to this, holding the daemon close as they kiss, and continuing to rub her wingnubs.

[Beans]

[Gaunts]
Theia nods silently, smiling just a bit.

The final touch the Griever adds to the Oracle's 'room' is a small glowresin marking with the symbol of her type on it; that done, she begins making one for Theia.

Talina smiles, holding Vo close.

"What's funny, love?"

[W5]

"Thanks for coming to stay with us, Tsiln," the vampire says softly during one of the pauses, grinning at the Execuloth.

[Beans]

[Gaunts]
Theia goes up to find the electrical grid; she intends to have the Griever help get them hooked back up and use whatever appliances may remain and be useful.
The Oracle smiles.
"Thank you... I just wish we had more that me and Theia to help you, though."

Vo points to Nycca, who has, of course, decided that technobabble time is naptime.

The Griever smiles back, and goes to squeeze her hand reassuringly.

"So do I. But it's not your fault we don't, and you both do everything you can."

[Motel]

Talina laughs as well, and goes to wake up the sleepy bat-fey.

"Any time, love... It's nice having you here. And I sort of remember you saying something about what you do, but like you said, it's been a while.

[Beans]

[Gaunts]
She squeezes back, but Theia calls from up the stairs.
Hey, I think we can get electricity---Griever, mind lending me a hand?

She sits up, pretending she didn't fall asleep. No sleep here, no sir.

She chitters happily.

The Griever - possibly named Aira? - shakes her head, heading up, and seeming pleased about being able to mess around with things.

[Motel]

Talina smiles, looking a bit amused, and goes to pull Nycca into a hug, in such a way that she ends up between the sorceress and Vo.

She nods.

"That part I remembered. I just wasn't sure of the details... Something about helping people who are having issues with their relationships and such?"

Talia didn't bring one either, so she certainly isn't going to object to Dani's lack of attire.

Speaking of which, she slips out of... Whatever it was she was wearing..., and into the lake, which will prove pleasantly cool should Dani follow her in.

((However, now I must deadtime. Possibly, though hopefully not, for a week. ))

Dani giggles and slips out of her own dress before sliding into the water with a shiver and smile as well!

[Beans]

They should eventually be able to get on the electrical grid of the town; Theia finds working freezers in the cafeteria area and gets them plugged in and usable again.

Talia frowns, having noted the shiver, and swims over to her.

"Is it too cold?"

[Gaunts]

"Good work, Theia. Hopefully they won't come out to see what's stealing power, but it's worth the risk, I think... Do you think we should head back down and see if the Oracle's ready to bring in some new people, now that we're set up?"

[Motel]

Talina grins as well, rubbing her wings.

"Did our technobabble give you any interesting dreams?"

[W5]

Karyana laughs, and goes to pull Aseti into her lap as well, grinning.

"Both good things. And let me know if you need help with the first part at some point, okay?"

[Beans]

[Gaunts]
Theia nods, heading down.

Aira follows, leaving small dots of resin on the walls where she thinks that something should be altered.

Talina laughs, holding her girlfriends close.

"I thought you didn't fall asleep?"

Karyana smiles, nestling against them.

"Thanks, Tsiln."

[Beans]

Theia peeks in on the Oracle.

Aira looks in as well, smiling at the Oracle a bit, though she stays quiet for the moment.

Talina shrugs, smiling at Nycca, and goes to kiss the bat-fey.

Karyana smiles, rubbing Tsiln's wingnubs, and nuzzling her neck.

She nods, smiling. "I am, thanks..."

Talina smiles, and goes to hug her.

"Thanks, Nycca. And sorry about pretty much leaving you out of that conversation."

"It's been a while since we went anywhere..."

[Beans]

"People might not really want to be Gaunts, though... could be trouble."

Aira nods, frowning.

"True... But we do need more people..."

"I suppose it is less rude to not include someone because they're napping."

Karyana grins.

"Alright. Where? And do you want to bring anyone else?"

The sorceress smiles, nestling against her girlfriends.

"So, what now?"

The vampire nods.

"Works for me. Any thoughts on where to go?"

"Just.. . In any sizable town, there's got to be one person who have problems with their life, right? And if that's for the right reasons, the promise of always having a group you know you can trust, and that loves you, is going to be a pretty powerful lure; if they're otherwise suitable, it should be pretty easy to get them to join willingly, and help them in the process."

[Motel]

Talina goes to curl up so that her head is in Jen's lap.

"Movie, maybe?"

[W5]

"Well... The Den is probably out, since I doubt it would be a good idea to go there with Aseti. Which leaves Trog's, the DFI, or Hollow Hill, or maybe just going someplace nice in Outside."

[Beans]

[Gaunts]

"Thanks. So does that mean we have a go ahead?", the Griever asks, turning back to the Oracle.

Talina grins, going to pull Sherry and Marina into the snuggling.

"Any preferences on what?"

Karyana nods, smiling, and going to get up, still holding Aseti and Tsiln.

The Oracle nods, smiling in her spaced-out way.

Theia shrugs, stretching.

In that case, Talina wafts a small pyramidal device into a similarly shaped slot in the TV, and a version of Firefly from an alternate universe where it wasn't canceled, edited to play straight through, rather than having to select each episode, begins.

Theia nods; she begins to head out of the basement.

Talina enjoys the movie and the snuggling, nestling close to her girlfriends, and pulling one of the magically heated blankets over them.
