[The Roof]

Ally won't have to look far, as Ashley is still on the roof. She's at her desk, stuffing as many of her belongings into her bag of holding as she can, and leaving a piece of paper and pen.

She hasn't noticed Ally yet.

The thief walks up behind the mage and clears her throat. Need any help?

[The Roof]

Ashley turns around the instant she hears Ally's voice. "Ally?" For a moment, she feels elated, but tempers that for now. "What are you doing here?"

Roof

Ally smiles, then sticks her hands in her pockets and tries to act cool. Well, I was watching your wedding, but now I guess I'm just here to help you out. I don't know what your plan is or why you're doing this, but if there's anyway I can help...

[Roof]

Ashley thinks for a few seconds, then shakes her head. "You should go, Ally. I'm not sure how long we'll be alone up here."

[Roof]

Karyana teleported somewhere before I left. And since I had to run up, like, a hundred flights of stairs, if she's not here by now I doubt she'll show up. The redheaded young woman frowns. But fine, you've got everything covered, don't you? There's a plan and I'm not involved in any way. Got it.

[Devixer]

[Roof]

Ashley's eyes widen. "Ally, that's not it at all. Really." She looks down for a few moments, then takes her bag of holding off of her belt and tries to hand it to Ally. "Could you please put the rest of my things in this bag? I need to write something."

L'lanyaea grins, apparently glad that Carciza is also enjoying herself.

"Really. And yeah, it is, most of the time. It caused some issues with someone I know at one pint, but.. It's mostly been worth it."

Ally tries not to look too smug that her guilt trip worked. She takes the bag and starts packing it. So where you running to, anyway? That Neutralist gang? Or are you, um, leaving the Nexus completely?

[Roof]

"I don't know yet. I don't want to leave the Nexus yet, though." It takes a bit of effort for Ashley to not add 'unless you came with.' She starts to write what will probably be a long letter that I can't be bothered to write right now. "I think I might find a place at Inside where I can work on my studies. Somewhere quiet."

[Beans]

Zwei calms down enough to start asking around for Karyana; Carrie quickly puts Sable Guides around any booze to make sure Zwei doesn't get at it.
Needless to say, if she knew what was transpiring with Ashley, she would be even less happy than she already is.

Neat. Well, I'll still be bumming around Inside and drinking at Trog's, so feel free to drop by... You know, so we can hang out or steal something. Fun stuff like that. Ally is still feigning nonchalance, like she's totally not worried about Ashley never talking to her again or anything.

"Yep. I take it you know Carrie too?"

"Actually, Ally, could we meet at Trog's later? If you're up for it?" Ashley asks this in a hopeful tone of voice.

Karyana, if Zwei is paying any attention to what the dimension is telling her, has sealed herself off from everyone but the ex-deathknight (and Dani, as she's already there) in a small sub-realm.

Despite recent events, Ashley can't help but grin back as she takes her bag back and fastens it to her belt. "Great. I'll find a place and then I'll see you there, okay?"

[Roof]

Take care. Ally tries to hug her friend before heading back down the stairs. She'll put her hooded cloak back on and try to walk right out the front door.

Zwei tries to get through to her fiancee; her eyes are red from crying and she's shaking and pale.

Nema nods.
Yeah, from college.

Nothing prevents her from coming through, and when she arrives, Karyana lets go of Dani, who she was still absently holding, and goes to hug Zwei tightly.

[Warehouse]

L'lanyaea should be able to understand it fairly well, then, and will offer up her interpretation of anything she's unsure of, to help Carciza clarify it.

[Nest]

The vampire grins at her.

"Which one?"

[Roof]

None of my characters will prevent Ally from leaving.

[Devixer]

[Roof]

Ashley will try to hold onto the hug for a bit longer than necessary. "You too." Once Ally leaves, she immediately goes over to finish her letter. She was going to explain this to Zwei and Karyana as best she could, she owed them that much at least.

After she finishes the letter, she stands up, and walks to the edge of the roof. With a few tears in her eyes, she casts a flying spell on herself and leaves.

[Beans]

[Sub-realm]
Zwei proceeds to sob into Karyana's shoulder, shaking hard.
What did I do wrong?
Why wasn't I good enough?

Eventually she should have a pretty darn good understanding of the subject.

Deity college, of course. Carrie hasn't gone to any other kind if I heard correctly.

Karyana's wings quickly form, and she goes to enfold Zwei in them, as do more arms, which also go to hug the ex-deathknight

"You didn't do anything wrong, Zwei. And whatever anyone else thinks, you're good enough for anyone, from any universe."

[Warehouse]

The mage smiles at that point, and goes to hug the daemon.

"Thanks for teaching me all this, Carciza."

[Nest]

"Huh. I didn't know that... What're your realms? And can you explain why it is I now know four deities?"

[Beans]

[Sub-realm]
Then w-why'd she leave us?
She shivers.
... Is there a toilet here? I feel sick...

She chitters again.

I'unno. Maybe it's your teeth; they're pretty nice teeth.

"I don't know... Maybe she'll leave a letter or something. I hope so.... And yes, there is a toilet," she says, going to carry Zwei to it.

[Warehouse]

"Mine too. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

[Nest]

Karyana grins at her, and laughs.

"I suppose. But I didn't have them when I met the first one... My dentition was pure human at that point."

[Beans]

[Sub-realm]
Zwei hunches over it, staring into the water.
If she didn't want to get married she should have told us.
If she was going to leave she shouldn't have said yes in the first place.
She coughs.

Huh... well, I dunno. Coincidence, maybe.

[Sub-realm]

Karyana crouches next to Zwei, rubbing her back, and nods.

"I agree. She felt differently when she actually got there than she did before, I guess... But still, she should have just said that, not left..."

[Warehouse]

"Well that's good, I guess. Let me know if you do, though, okay?"

[Nest]

"I guess it probably snowballs a bit... And to be fair, I was living with a bunch of vampires and the first deity I met was the God of Undead, so there was a reason for him to be there."

[Beans]

[Sub-realm]
She starts retching, groaning between waves.
She mumbles incoherently.

She nods, smiling.

Karyana tries to scan Zwei magically, to make sure there's nothing seriously wrong with her.

[Warehouse]

"Do you have a last name?"

[Beans]

[Nest]
Once you meet a death deity, you probably end up meeting a bunch more.

She's physically okay, but psychologically is majorly stressed and possibly traumatized.
She keeps at it for a while.

She shakes her head.
Not except for the name of my outpost, and that's not really one anyway.

"I suppose. Though, unless you're one, Carrie and Gath are the only two of those I've met; Civvy is Goddess of Hope."

Oddly enough, Karyana seems a bit sad when she mentions Civvy.

[Sub-realm]

The vampire holds her while she does, though in such a way that if Zwei actually does throw up, none of it should get on her

"Why is that? And what was the name of your outpost?"
