"Umm... well..." the barrel-maker shifts somewhat uncomfortably. "I'm not sure what can be done about it, really. But there seem to be a lot of very knowledgeable people in this city and maybe one knows how to remove plants that grow out of people's spines?"

At this point Templar Gregorie returns! He's got a dull red glow about him, as if his coat were made of nearly red-hot iron instead of black cloth. How very spooky.

Ally selects a handheld plasma cutter that she can just barely afford, then heads to the counter. She tries to get a closer look at the book, to determine what it's made out of and what the cover looks like, and then smiles at Erin. Neat store you got here. Haven't seen this many weapons in one place since I toured the Royal Armory back home. It was a self-guided tour. At night. She's a thief.

Astrana smiles, "Great, good luck with your life." She tells the tomboy before walking off in Arel's and Rein's direction. Those templars where probably just more trouble anyway and if that bitch declined her help she could rot for all she cared.

And off they go toward the shelter. Arel is rather quiet for a bit as they walk. Something occurs to her, however. "Reinholdt... You're, uh, big." She's not sure what to say about it really. Funny she hasn't really noticed until now.

It certainly is strange. Makes one wonder what could have caused it... "Oh. It was that orb. Before, you touched these things Astrana had, and one did something to you." Of course, she realizes that Rein wasn't exactly all there at the time. "That's why we were in the park. to try and find someone that was supposed to be able to help with that..." She trails off, just realizing how that sounds.

The tiefling follows along Arel and Reinholdt from a distance, feeling kind of blue. She'd let the two talk out though, it was probably pretty important after an event like that. She herself hadn't really done anything, Reinholdt could probably have saved her on his own. She puts away the pact bound and just let them lead the way.

A black and white shape springs down from the head of one of the large cat statues. Piercing yellow eyes glaring at Reinholdt, Arel, and the tiefling behind them and a lashing tail show the cat's agitation.

"What have you allowed to happen in here? There was fire, and I smell magic in the air! Explain what occurred."

Fukayna doesn't seem too happy. Though one has to wonder where she and her sisters were when the goblin attacked and all the weirdness happened.

"No, I don't meant that. Don't blame yo-" Arel starts when Fukayna interrupts. "Fukayna. We, ah, someone attacked us, then... I don't really know how to explain..." A lot has happened. Like those long vines growing out of her back for instance. Those weren't there before.

And Rein's muscled. That's probably new.

He does glance back at Astrana before they get there though. "Thanks for helping. I don't think I could have done it without you." She did help during that time where he needed extra hands while working to free Arel.

Rein turns his attention to Fukayna. "What we allowed to happen in here? You're the ones with battle forms! Why the hell didn't you stop that goblin in the first place?!"

He might be a bit more willing to discuss this calmly but agitation at this point in time is high and Fukayna's tone isn't helping.

"Ah... uh, thanks." Astrana replies in surprise before turning her attention to the Sphinx as well. Now what was this?

Probably something that didn't involve her. "What they said." She gestures towards Arel and Reinholdt, not that she thought these talking cats actually cared what she said.

"Goblin? Why would a goblin attack us?"

The cat paces back and forth, tail still lashing.

"Calm yourself Reinholdt, we weren't here. I never expected anyone to threaten a holy place like this. Filthy goblins."

Her gaze sweeps over the three of them, and Fukayna pauses to look at Arel.

"That's not normal for humans. Did the creature that attacked the temple do that to you or did you have other adventures this night?"

She doesn't bring up Reinholdt being more manly, either not thinking much of it or not even noticing it. Astrana is similarly ignored after the cursory glance.

"Eh, she has a problem with eating children which I'm trying to get her to stop doing. But she's rather nice if you don't try to hurt me or try to make out with me. Either way, she'll eat you. She's also the Queen of Hell. And I'm the King of Hell. Hell has gotten better since I got them to install air conditioning in the palace."
