At first, the ghoul is surprised! Something is coming up out of the depths! Then Annabelle tilts her head curiously at this newcomer, blinking. Some sort of... green person.

"YOU PUT THE FISH ON THERE?" she asks, still slightly confused.

Taurus blinks in surprise as well at the marsh goblin's sudden appearance.
"Ah. Well, thank you...what is your name, ma'am?" he asks, a bit thrown off his game.

Dock on The Lake

"Yes, I did. I thought it would speed up your boring method of catching fish." Myrim catches fish the Skyrim way- chases them down and presses the 'E' button. "Oh, my name's Myrim. What's yours?"

"Taurus Russkij," the white-haired young man says with a smile. "And while your way is as valid as ours, ours is meant to be relaxing - catching fish is, somewhat, besides the actual point."

Annabelle would introduce herself, but she is displeased with the notion that what they are doing is boring!

"IT'S NOT BORING! IT'S REALLY FUN BUT COMPLICATED!" the ghoul pouts. This is supposed to be some fun relaxation time with her friend, it can't be boring! It's not allowed to be!

And Reelshka steps inside. Hello, Jamie. Are you busy?

"Well, I suppose it can be fun, but I can breathe underwater and swim really well, so I don't need to use a rod. Waiting around like that for a fish to bite when I can just dive in and chase them down just seems a bit boring for me. I'm sorry; I haven't seen anybody fish that way before, and I couldn't see the point. But then I remembered that not everyone has gills." Myrim looks sorry, and her ears droop. She spends most of her time in the lake, and still needs to learn how to interact with equals- as an ex-slave, and a noblewoman's personal pet, she had acclimatised to a rigid hierarchy which doesn't exist here.

Oddball is also here, either on the floor looking upwards curiously, or, if Jamie has picked him up and placed him there, standing on the sideboard watching Jamie's actions curiously and possibly trying to help occasionally.

Jamie will indeed have helped Oddball up onto the kitchen counter, and will accept the Oddish's help in preparing the cake!

"Hm? Oh, hi Miss Reelshka! I'm a little busy with this cake but we can talk, sure!" she says, accepting a box of sugar, perhaps.

Demon Queen shrugs. If I was, I don't remember it.

"Ebon Mirror was...well, a 'self-made Deathlord', pretty much. More than an Abyssal normally is, less than the actual Deathlords...he trapped me and turned me into an Abyssal for a time, and he tried to destroy the Nexus through undead attacks." Shrike shakes her head. "The 'liberating the living from the shackles of life' thing was totally his schick."

She considers this.

"BUT MAYBE NOT RIGHT HERE, BECAUSE SOMEONE MIGHT HOOK YOU BY ACCIDENT, AND THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE!"

Jamie will lead the poor drone to the kitchen.
"I don't have pixie magic but I do know how to bake a cake," she declares with confidence.

The Old GLoG drone waits patiently.

It will try to scan Reelshka and Oddball's alignments. Unlike the newer models, it still has it's alignment scanner.

Demon Queen gives a short laugh.

I think mine's siding with the demon in me. No real reason for killing other than the fun of it.

"And that's why we need to work on channeling 'fun of it' to 'those needin' killin'," Shrike says, even adding the appropriate Texas drawl!

"That would be a bit painful, yes," Taurus agrees with a wince.

I've been keeping an eye on myself.

Shrike can't resist the temptation.
And goes to ruffle the Abyssal's hair.

Really? You really felt the need to do that?

"Need? No, no, not at all. I did it because I wanted to."

Demon Queen sighs and shakes her head.

Let's go to the Infirmary, then. See if she's still there.

And just so you know, I'm gonna act like I know nothing of her possibly being a murderer.

The drone's scan won't pick up anything. Reelshka doesn't have an alignment.
I just wanted to chat a bit about your powers and how you're growing up, the goblin says, sitting down on a stool. A serious upbringing talk loses some of its dignity when the adult isn't any taller than the child.

Brinika will keep hugging Keo, not really sure what to say.

Renetta kneels (with a bit of difficulty) and tries to hug Keo as well. "Everybody here will take care of you until you can get home, Keo."

"Yeah development isn't only gone in faster higher stronger. Indeed technologie also works on smaller. The most know thing is tat they try to make things as small as possible to find new use for such things. This part coud have been set into another humanoid person without a problem and replace his vocal cords. In a world where such things happen and magic is rare it becomes a common tool."

He then heads back to Bill

Oddball is trying to help, but he doesn't always get things right. Oddball also has no alignment; though if one must be picked up, it's probably the unintelligent animal's brand of True Neutral. Not that Oddball is unintelligent, he's just more focussed on the same priorities of survival as an unintelligent animal than on the true sentient's priorities of emotion, morality and so on.

That box of sugar is equally likely to be a box of salt, or flour.

Renetta kneels (with a bit of difficulty) and tries to hug Keo as well. "Everybody here will take care of you until you can get home, Keo."

Moar hugs! "Thank you,m!"

After a moment, Keo will detatch from the hugs and shift slightly. For a moment, she pulls up her sleeve and tugs on a few fraying linen wraps around her arm. The ones on her hands are bloodstained, and the rest are dirty. She adjusts them a little, and then pulls her sleeve back down. "Ooh, there are so many things I keep needing to do but never doing. I need new linens and a set of luck dice..."

Jamie accepts the box of 'sugar' from Oddball!
Notes it's salt.
Discreetly swaps it for actual sugar.
And stirs the dough with one hand, giving the Oddish a pat on the head with the other.

"Oh? Oh, ok," she answers Reelshka, looking curious. "What about them?"

Unlike his ancestor Orion, Taurus has no interest in fly fishing.

Brinika eeps when she sees the blood. What happened?

Well, it occurs to me you might be relying on them just a bit too much. Magic powers aren't something children of your age often get, you know, Reelshka replies, trying to ease Jamie into what she has to tell her.

"Well...maybe," Jamie allows, as she pours the cake batter into a cake pan. "I'm trying to learn things that'll help me do things non-magically, but as long as I can use it to help people, why shouldn't I?"

"Oddish oddish oddish!" Oddball says that in a sing-song tone, doing a silly little dance as the cake batter is poured. I think he's excited, though I don't really know why.

"Are you okay?" Renetta says with some concern. At least she doesn't seem to be hurting right now.

She has to try very hard to not think back to when she had her own bloody bandages, wrapped around her feet. Just focus on Keo.

"Hmm? Oh, I just hunted a rabbit and I haven't washed my linens yet,m. I'm not hurt, it's not my blood,m."

Oh. Okay.

"Both times someone has seen my linens, they thought I was hurt; I must really need new linens,m. Oh! Julie was going to get me new linens,m! I forgot,m! Bye Brinika, Bye Renetta'm!"

With that, she hurries toward the main cabin. That was kind of odd.

Krystal nods, accepting the reply. Then she hands the phone over.

Maybe we should get his name. So I can have a few people keep eye out for him.

And maybe do some fact checking later.

The facts would prove to be entirely accurate and spot-on. No need to worry about that little nuisance onscreen, eh? And so the plot thickens!

Bethany takes the phone and begins punching in digits. Several 3s are pressed. If Krystal's eyes are sharp enough, she may note the number Beth is dialing.

"His name is Brian. Brian Ruxor."

Bethany proclaims, raising the phone to her ear.

"Brian? Brian pick up the phone. Listen, when you receive this message, hurry over to the GLoG infirmary. We're in trouble. I'll explain everything."

"Love you."

Bethany will attempt to hang up the phone and return it to Krystal with a rapid nod.
