Naethalee leans back against Defelent's arm, letting a hand slip down to rub his leg.

Meidani isn't likely to stop until she actually runs up against her limit, either.

"1,750." Defelent's response to the leg rubbing is to squeeze Naethalee's shoulder.

Defelent might stop before his limit, but only because he'd also like to bid on one of the double bids that are up later and expects those to be rather popular.

Meidani is starting to enjoy the 'who backs out first?'.

"What do you think, Naethalee? Should I continue to bid, or wait for one of the doubles and save my money?"

"Hmmm, I think that should be up to you....but a double bid does offer the promise of double your pleasure, double your fun," Naethalee purrs, whispering in Defelent's ear.

Dani's eyes, meanwhile, are widening at the skyrocketing bidding!

"One more bid then; afterwards I'll call it quits. 1,875." He's still smiling, though, and will also attempt to squeeze Naethalee's arm again.

Naethalee squeezes back, and relaxes witih a smirk on her face.

Dani spins, her dress swirling!

The gavel slams and Tualth gestures at Meidani with it. "And the little lady is yours for a mere 1900! Come on up and take snag your pretty little prize."

"Oh? And what would you suggest?" Pathfinder asks with perked ears and a slight smile, keeping his teeth from showing.

(Taking a 12 hour break before the next Auction to switch up times so various time zones can have a chance now)

Meidani smiles, walking up to the stage to fork over the full 1900, and claim Dani! "Well, that was fun."

Dani giggles happily, curtseys to the audience, then grins at Meidani as she's colllected. "Wow! I wasn't expecting that!" she chirps.

Meidani grins as she steers Dani back to their seats. "Me winning, or the bidding going so high?"

"Going so high. I was hoping you'd be the winner but you never know!" Dani grins happily and settles into her seat.

Meidani grins as she sits next to Dani. "Seems a few people find you attractive."

That makes the redhead blush, and giggle.

Kirk looks toward the stage and gives Dani a once over. He drums his fingers for a second than says. "700 gp."

"I think that answers your question." He replies to Dena.

"And another loss." Dena comments as she glances at Dani and Meidani before turning back to Kirk. "You know, I'm almost afraid you're going to win this bet. This is the first once going above 1600 and that's pretty low. People don't like gambles I guess... so anyone you're saving up to? Those lesbians?" The rogue snickers.

The drow shrugs. "We'll have to see. I'm determined to win someone at least. I wouldn't say I'm saving for anyone, though." That's a lie and you know it Kirk. There's no way you're not planning to bid on Xifra and Salome.

Tualth hums to herself as she ruffles around the names in the hat before pulling one out. With a smirk, she looks right at Kirk. "Come on up, fancybritches. The ladies wanted me to tell you they appreciated your help back stage, by the way. A few definitely wouldn't have fit in their costumes without you." She says with a chuckle.

Does she care that she said this in front of everyone?

He saunters onto the stage and gives Tualth a grin before his attention is drawn out to the audience. "Let's not forget to be generous, this is for charity after all." Of course, now he has to provide some incentive. The drow shrugs off his jacket and tosses it aside. He starts to work off his tie. The show can begin as soon as the first couple bids roll in.

"5... gp." Ilpholin says. Though she says it in such a way to make you think that maybe she was going to say 500. But nope. Just 5. She's reasonably sure that Kirk ought to go for less based on his track record though.
