"Personal time and a promotion not enough for you, huh? Well then enjoy your frivolous beach parties." Ilpholin snorts with annoyance.

Kamopholin

"Aww, come back to AMEN, Kal! It's way more fun now that Mr Grumpy Scales is gone!" Moff says.

Kamopholin

"And besides, you didn't even see the rainbow lava yet, or the birth of Taul!" Moff urges. "And four keeps muttering something about needing to sell his soul to you for something. Hell if I know what that's about, but if it's souls you need, we could probably scare up a few more Moff souls for you if that's what it takes to get you back."

Kal's head whirls rapidly at the mention of 'promotion'.
"What? Promotion? You never mentioned a promotion?"
And then whirls back.
"Waaait... aren't you four?"
Kal's life has been a lie!

"Nope, I'm 101. Won the date with Taul to this event." "Four is skulking somewhere - he's afraid of Big, Dark and Breastly there."

"What the heck did you think I was talking about when I said I wanted to discuss positions and not in the way you're thinking?" Ilpholin says, throwing her hands up a little.

"Four knows he liked it."

"He probably did," 101 says with complete lack of sympathy. "He liked it so much he wants to sell his soul to make sure it never happens again. Personally I didn't think we even had souls, but 4 says some guy named Sirtch showed his to him once, so at least he has one.

Anyway, the beach party will be starting up in the HT's plots thread, which she just got permission to resurrect, so have a plot clone show up there any time. That goes for you too, Butler and Mime."

Jezelomifra Auction

Salome's tail wraps around Xifra seductively, as Xifra herself holds Jezebel's hand up to kiss her fingers. "No more bids?" Xifra says. "We would love to help fulfil your fantasies." She puts her charisma power* into this, making it likely that most people will find her extremely compelling - almost impossible not to pay complete attention to, and to try and win her attention in return.




* Resistible by a strong will, anything that protects the mind, a prior inclination to dislike Xifra - pretty much anything that seems a rational justification.

"One thousand, five hundred."

Wait, what? Magtok's still here? I could've sworn he he left like two auctions ago. The Mofftok auction was just about the only thing he's reacted to since Mime mooched all of that money off of him.

"1600!" yells out Haruki!

"1,800!" Defelent calls. That's the last of his money, though.

"1900!" The Angel is really digging into his pockets for this one!

The gavel slams for the final time. "And the hunky angel wins all three. Good luck, they'll be a handful. I'd know." She says jokingly.

Giving a bow, Jezebel steps up to the Podium. "And, as said before, this is the end of the auction. Thank you all for coming out tonight and raising money for a good cause. May the rest of the night be as enjoyable for you as it has been so far." With that, she steps gingerly down the steps to rejoin Kirk and Dena.

Xifra keeps an arm around her beloved and follows Jezebel. Are you well, Mistress? she asks telepathically, worried about how carefully Jezebel is moving.

Of course the Slaaneshi rites could get a bit rough sometimes.

Meidani grins, and turns to Naethalee. "Shall we go now, or should I go home, get into something more… suitable… and meet up with you?"

[The Bushranger]

"Something more...suitable...would be desirable," Naethalee drawls with a wink.


Dani, meanwhile, pouts at losing the auction!

[Auction]

"WOOOOO!" says Ruki, thinking of all the fun things they could do! "AWESOME! I won!"

The Angel flies over to the stage and drops another bag of gold to pay, then lands among the ladies. "Hi, ladies! How are you doing on this fine night?"

Meidani smiles as she gets out of her seat! "Where do you want to meet up, then?"

"Hmm, I believe I can arrange for an apartment..."
Perhaps at the Black Dragons' Den, or perhaps on her own - either way, Naethalee will give Meidani the address.

Meidani grins. "All right, I'll see you there!"

(It does matter, since I'll have to post in the appropriate thread. )

Once she makes arrangements with Naethalee, she grins and turns to Dani. "Aw, don't pout... you've still got some time with me!

Anyway, I'll give you a call when I'm free and we can start. In the meantime, I have something I'd like you to do..."

Meidani leans forwards and whispers in Dani's ear!

Naethalee nods in agreement.

Dani giggles and whispers back!

Meidani will continue the whispered conversation for a bit, then grins at Dani. "Hmmm... actually, I'll pick you up when I'm ready, but I'll give you a call so you can prepare, ok?"

[The Bushranger]

"OK!" Dani chirps, nodding happily!

Meidani grins at her. "Great! Ok, see you in a few days, Dani!

And I'll see you as soon as I get to the Den, Nymriia!"

She turns, and starts to head for the exit.

"WOOOOO!" says Ruki, thinking of all the fun things they could do! "AWESOME! I won!"

What? No, she didn't say that part in parentheses! She was obviously just clearing her throat or something! >.>

"Awesome!" says the Angel happily, ignoring the parenthesis. "What do you like to do? There's lots of stuff we can do!"

"Oh I'm quite serious when it comes to my work." Ilpholin says.

"Well, then I'll be serious when I consider it." Says Kal in reply.

[Reinholdt]

"I suppose that's the most I can ask for." Ilpholin replies.

"I'll leave you with Moff to plot." She says before heading off and fading into the crowd.

If Ilpholin chooses, she might encounter Defelent. If so, he's got things to ask. "Hello. Um, I was wondering when and where you would like me to start my day of servitude. Here and now, of course, is completely fine." This is not something he was ever expecting to ask.

[Reinholdt]

"Ah. Well I'm fairly busy, so I don't think here and now is necessarily the best. Do you have some way that I might be able to contact you?" Ilpholin asks.

[Earl of Purple]

"Yes, I do. Here, take this. It's tougher than it looks, but still try not to destroy it. If you try you're near guaranteed to succeed." Defelent takes out a dark red marble-sized glass orb from his pocket; once out it grows to about the size of a football. Defelent squeezes it slightly, causing a smaller orb (the size of a tennis ball) to bud off. The smaller orb will be passed over to Ilpholin.

The orb is impervious to accidental damage; even dropping it into a volcano won't damage it. But if Ilpholin squeezes it with the intention of trying to break it, it'll shatter.
