Anybody tried Conclave, the game that's been advertising on the top of the forums for the last day or so? I gave it a shot, definitely seems fun. If you are looking for a party, lemme know...

I just started after reading your post Marilith. So far I'm a level two whatever the lizard people are called True Bow. I was surprised by how many different attacks and other options you start out with. Overall it seems pretty cool, and I imagine playing with other would make it even better.

The game looks extraordinarily cool. As far as I can tell, it seems to scratch the "4th Edition tabletop RPG tactics" itch with a turn-based PBEM scheme.

That's a pretty sweet quote. CarpeGuitarrem, I'm one of the developers of the game... mind if we swipe what you said for a testimonial? (It's great to have descriptive quotes from players on hand when talking to the press.)

It looks interesting, I'm signing up now... Mezoar Runecaster. Probably a bad choice, but it synergies better than some, I'll bet.

The actual game is much easier alone than with a party and playing through all the free quests with every single path took me less than a few hours. I did enjoy the bit I did but I'm certainly not going to buy any more. The best thing that could happen in my opinion is if they sold an adventure maker which allowed you to make your own classes, races, stories and encounters so that you could make your own game. The writing didn't seem to be quite as gripping as it should have been for a game like this.

Yeah, I won't buy more either, especially at those prices.

But when there are more adventures, I can see the prices on the pay-to-play ones being much lower, and of course, there being more free adventures.

No, but the team leader can boot folk. And make other folk the team leader.
