Dawn, I took the liberty to pick a different working name because the one you suggested was just too long. And did you mean technology juxtaposed with magic or did you mean a blending? I assumed it was the latter, but please let me know.

Homebrew Homebrews! Entries would entail crafting. Whether it be new kinds of alcohols and their effects (or various other end resulted items), classes that brew alcohol (or other craftsmen such as glassblowers or blacksmiths), so on.

Well, you honestly weren't very specific on what you meant. So you mean a juxtaposition of magic and technology? Because Clarke's Third Law by itself doesn't have to do with that.

Sorry, that's what I get for not being awake. For some reason my sleep addled brain saw "magic" instead of science.

I used it for alcohol as an example (and because homebrewing is generally a beer brewing term) but it could be for any kind of craftsman, spell crafting, even construct crafting (It's ALIVE!).

And Urban Legends sounds like a good title for the Cryptos.

Homebrew itself isn't just alcohol based. IE: these forums. So Homebrew'd Homebrew I'd still consider a good title, since these things are self crafted.

Right. It's just a spell-customization PrC, and I think I can get it done.

I personally don't see anything wrong with Bombadier, despite my avaracious love of Alliteration.

I named it as such because bombardiers are people who launch missiles. And neither "magic" nor "mage" are entirely accurate any more, since I decided psionics were a better subsystem.

Oh, and before anyone asks why I'm refluffing crystal shard to be like magic missile, instead of just converting the spell to psionics– I can think of more augments this way.

List of augments I've come up with so far. I'm open to suggestions, and if there's enough, I'll increase how often you get them.
-Change energy type (possibly 1 augment/type)
-Manifest through a ranged weapon (increased range)
-Area of effect (like fireball)
-Aligned strike (one for G-E, one for L-C)
-Stun them!
-Frighten them! (Shakened)

EDIT: Also, how reasonable would it be to give him full BAB?

Then again, most of their abilities are light, and focused around just one spell... Hmmm.

I thought about it a bit more, and I think I'll give it full BAB back. My idea is a class that's built around magic missile/crystal shard. And if I use crystal shard and require a ranged touch attack, full BAB might make sense.

I thought one of the reasons that Wraithstrike was so overpowered was because it allowed Full BaB classes to make touch attacks.

I only know Core. I wouldn't have known. I can keep it at 3/4 if full is really that broken
