Devi sounds rather grim, and Plat will find her shoulder is quite chilled. Revenge is contemplated as coldly as it's served, it seems.

And then she turns to beam cheerfully at him, eyes hidden behind her sunglasses.

"Oh, that was no fight. You'd know if I was trying to hurt people. Not that I'd ever be able to harm someone like you..."

Flagpole

"About half of you were either waiting for an opening to get the flag, too lazy to even think about why I was asking you to get it, or...well, whatever you want to call what Plat was doing. I can think of a few things, but I'm sure someone else can conceive of worse."

Magtok shrugs.

"So no, those of you who didn't win aren't getting diddly squat. I can promise you that I won't be pulling any tricks like this in the future. However, seeing as I am a villain and all, it'd probably be best if you take that promise with a grain of salt. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, but know that from now on most, if not all of what I say, do, or command is entirely free of shenanigans, and it's probably in your best interests to listen."

As for Salixtra, because Magtok hasn't the time or energy to try to outlawyer her, he instead writes up a check, peers at the burning automobile to get a rough estimate on the thing's worth, and then adds a bit more to the amount written just in case, before throwing the thing at her stupid, meddlesome face.

"Anything else, or should I just get to assigning rooms and junk now?"

Plat wraps his arm around Devi if possible and gives Magtok a bit of a smirk before turning back to the thermomancer. "I'm sure I will find out some day." At the mention of the rooms, his ears seem to perk a bit (not really, but it's the same kind of reaction) and he grins to the girl next to him. "Maybe we can get a room just to the two of us." He whispers not quite quietly enough to keep it hidden from any paying particular attention to the two.

Salixtra tries not to react to Plat hitting on Devi again, but her body language might give her away. She really prefers to have all the hot guys hanging off of her, not that under-dressed... mage!

"What about lab space?"

The woman that never gave her name looks up from her faintly glowing wrist, seems that she wasn't watching the last half of the fight for the flag.

"Yes, it would be oh so horrible to preform surgeries and distill deadly poisons in 'your' room." It sounds like she is reading from a tiny eye sized teleprompter as there was not much snide in that remark.

Doctor Titanium Hollywood Harrierjet raises an eyebrow at unnamed Causality Lady. Weird thing to say and weirder way to say it. He walks over to her anyway, might as well stand next to a "friend" after all.

"I'm not a surgeon," Salixtra says dismissively.

She doesn't bother to deny the charge of distilling deadly poisons. Chemistry is her speciality after all.

At this she will crack a faint smile "Who said you were the surgeon in this story?" The role of patient and/or test subject is open though. . .

Turning to greet Doctor Titanium Hollywood Harrierjet Harry, it is wonderful to see you again.
. . . Was that a joke about his ship cloaking or is she being crazy needy.

"I've got my own place a little to the west of here, so I'm good for rooming. If anybody needs a place to crash, it's open to you as well." Trademark grin is still constant, though it may have widened a few millimeters there.

"Ooh, that sounds nice."

Devi smiles at Plat and accepts his arm. Though she's pretty sure that Magtok will put them in separate rooms, or maybe put a third person in with them just to spite them. She'd be worried if the villainous cyborg didn't!

The Magtern nods in agreement when she hears Salixtra's question and looks at Magtok.

"Yeah. I know I'm going to need space for my work."

"Lab space. Hrm..."

Magtok puts a hand to his chin, perusing his many options, trying to decide exactly how to respond to this need of the students. It's true he didn't exactly set up a facility for that, and they can't exactly be trusted to do their scientific study stuff in their rooms, not with all the volatile chemicals and compounds that will almost certainly be around.

"Alright, got it!"

The cyborg rubs his hands together, smiles, and then turns towards some admissions office thingy. It abruptly ceases to be, as an enormous aircraft hangar just falls out of a portal and right on top of it! Bits of wood and aluminum siding and all sorts of other junk goes flying about. Holy fudge, that wasn't even close to necessary, Magtok!

"Divide all of that empty space amongst yourselves for lab work. And don't bother asking why I had an aircraft hangar handy, that's on a need-to-know basis and probably slightly illegal maybe."

Phity-Plat can't help but grin at the words. Already he was planning on making a bit of a stage and bringing a lot of his studio equipment in. Maybe modify the rest of the place into a club. Who knew? Maybe the other recruits could get a bit to themselves too.

At the thought, he gives Devi a bit of a squeeze. "And sleeping space? Figure it out in there too?"

Aeroplane Hanger
Alan was just about to ask if he could room with him until he sees a bush off in the distance.
It was a very nice looking bush.
He promptly shut his mouth and looked around in the aeroplane hanger, wondering what to do if he didn't need lab space.

Salixtra points at a couple of Magbots. "You. Come help me salvage my car," she orders. Without looking to see if they're following, she heads towards the remains of her car, intending to have them peel through the wreckage and get to her luggage.

Devi turns her gaze toward the airplane hangar, grinning widely at the possibilities. She tries to slip out of Plat's grasp and head toward the new lab space, everything else forgotten. The Magtern wants to claim a good spot for her mad science.

"It's perfect!"

Doctor Titanium Hollywood Harrierjet takes a look around. Neat hangar cyborg. THe chimp could see himself getting somework done here. His ears perk at the mention of lodgings. Would they split guys-girls? Who would he get stuck with? He hopes it's not the Zombie, or the whiny chick. Maybe the dragon? Phity? Causality lady? He'd take skaterboy in a pinch. Who?!

"Well, that will be about it for me in this time frame, I'll see you all when I need to." if unimpeded the unnamed causality lady will walk toward the dormitories/barracks/hellhole a few steps then vanish.

Out of the previously mentioned building runs, for the most part, the same woman. "Oh no, I'm not late am I!? Was that loud crash just now the start of a fight or the end of one?" Aside from being more excitable and noticeably younger the girl has a metallic tinge to her left arm along with the skin around and just above her right eye.
