Curses to the innocent fanservice filly trope. He found himself complying as he lifted the blanket in his mouth and slowly brought it over her, accidentally brushing his muzzle over her now and then. He stood on the side of the bed after tucking her in. He leaned over and kissed her closing his eyes. "If you need anymore blankets, let me know."

"No, Ah am fine. Here with ye. Goo'night coltfiend Ember. Say hello to the Sandmare for me." she mumbled before tucking her muzzle into a pillow. Then she instantly falls asleep there in his bed as if a switch was just flipped to knock her out.

He smiled watching the sleeping kelpie, he then walked toward the door and stepped out closing the door behind. He grabbed himself a blanket from the closet and took to the couch to sleep in.

"Urgh...no, Seeker, not the pineapples..." She opened her eyes and blinked a few times. She was in a bed she didn't recognize in a place that seemed vaguely...ah. The hospital. Right.

She tried to move, and got a whole load of not-negated-by-copious-amounts-of-adrenaline pain for it. She glanced down and entertained herself by counting the nigh-nnoticeable mistakes that the doctors had made in the patchwork. Then again, she wasn't dead, so it seemed to have worked out.

However, she got her heavily-beaten, bandaged self out of bed and towards a certain shop as soon as she could...whether the doctors approved or not.

The split-second a ray of sun hit the ground within a mile of him, Taylor jumped up fully, waking up completely in moments. Without further ado, he donned his gear, got his things together and headed out to a place nearby where he could get a good view.

And when the sunlight hit his face, he was the epitome of joy.

Civic Center

Some time before sunrise, a bit after Taylor walks away, Luka wakes up and puts his red Blanked inside his caparison, Yawns silently and stands up, completely renovated.
His armor clanks as he gets up, then tinkles a bit, and he goes towards the exit, thinking what to do next, but then suddenly his armor gets stuck as he moves his left foreleg, his eyes go wide from the surprise and he falls right outside of the exit, obvious "ow..." ensues and loud clanking after he falls on his left shoulder.
When he takes a look he notices his armor was all damaged to levels that would make a common one turn to metallic powder, some parts even had rust, and a plate got stuck into another one, immobilising the entire leg.
After he fixes it, he stands up and searches for a place to repair it.

Next Day Stuffs-

Staccata

Today had a couple of purposes. The first was kind of low priority, but she'll need to stop by a newer shop in town for some specialty daggers. The other is figuring out just what the hay is going on in town with a couple of things. Her contacts can't really give her useful detail because the town is so remote, so she's going to have to play nice with that general's son.

In her mind, she's owed a favor for that whole dragging out of the fire thing. The mare leaves a note at where she's relatively sure Grills is staying.

With the Cirrus ponies still off with his latest invention, Mach is just sort of idle for the near future. Other than messing with some theory and blueprints, pretty dull day. At least his tools are being borrowed less often.

The pegasus is on his normal morning flying routine stretching his wings above the town.

The griffon is waiting for some 'guests'. In the meantime though, the guards in training aren't going to be slacking while he's watching.

The sun rose over the mighty airship, two full days after the crew had embarked on their adventure. Sandy slumbered on in the infirmary, completely unaware of where he was, the treachery of his friends, or any worries of this world. His light blue coat had regained its luster, and was warm to the touch. His heart beat, strong and steady. When Sunny came in to check on him, she'd determine it was safe to attempt to wake him up. No matter what, removing the ring, especially since it was powered by his magic, would be...unpleasant. But the engineer was now in a condition to handle the shock to his system.

Grills picked the note off the front of his door. His mouth still felt funny from all the makeup drinking he done the night before after leaving Ember.

He had things to do already. Grills had to find a fifth for his casino scheme. And he had to pick up the disguises for that scheme. "What a day." he said before heading in to get his black book and heading out to the town.

The griffon is waiting for some 'guests'. In the meantime though, the guards in training aren't going to be slacking while he's watching.

The griffon would hear a trio of screeches from out in the distance. Three figures would be just be able to be seen in the sky. He'd have enough time to meet them before the reach town. If the griffin doesn't intercept the others, they'll land on the tallest building.

Ember/Aubade-The Muse House [Early Morning]


Aubade woke up early morning, it was a new day, a new day for shenanigans, darn it. Immediately she started cleaning and tidying up the living room and kitchen even though it was already clean. She thought about last night, the young master and the nightwalker he invited over who she didn't quite fancy, the naive Lochbed who seemed to much too attached to the young master despite only have known him for three days. And then there was Lord Grills, but what was there to say about Grills, actually, his behavior last night wasn't that wacky.

Anyway, she cleared her thoughts as she finished cleaning and began to start breakfast, strawberry pancakes.

Meanwhile Ember arose from his place on the couch later that night and in a sleepy zombie state, went back to his room, forgetting about Lochbed, and had conked out on his bed. As it was much more comfier than the couch, and he was a soft pony. At the moment in the morning he had a nice drool puddle going on, on his pillow.

She growled and 'augh'd' as she was bounced back, since, Soft was still protected by the invisible barrier being the current owner of the controller that came with the collar. Gwynfillion landed with a thump against the boulder Soft had been using to bound off earlier. That just seemed to make her more mad as it seemed she'd be giving into her anger.

If she had fists, they'd be clenched, but instead her body was just really tense. She threw glares Soft's way where for a couple of seconds things were all tension-y since who knew what Gwynfillion would do.

Her body then just suddenly loosened. "Fine." She growled.

Soft is actually surprised by Gwyn's willingness to follow her plan. "Thank you." the Paladin said, giving her a smile.

The armored blue colt enters a bit confused and shy, then a bit surprised after seeing Arvadraa's

"..Um...Hi, I'm Luka..I need to get my armor repaired, it took a 3 day trip and it got pretty hard stuff on it...."

He unlocks the helmet from the rest of the armor.
To both warrior and blacksmith the armor seems to be magical or some sort of masterwork, if it wasn't it should have already turned into mud or powder: there's scratches everywhere in the caparison and the rest of the armor, they're deep and smooth, also deep marks of something stabbing, and judging by he depth of some of them, one looks like it was a ballista bolt, a HUGE one; and another like a spear driven at fast speed, possibly from a dive attack.

He looks a bit shy since he was there for the first time, but Arvadraa's looks really surprised him, he didn't expect someone else to be in bad shape too.

"Blaze, can you do me a favor? Go get the captain, and at least Rainbow if not everypony else." she says, a little while after giving everypony another look over. She decided to finish up an antidote for the exotic venom on Sandy's flank that was making it swell up.

The Pegasus (The patient, not Sunny) could use help from a specialist, and Gearstride was the one in charge of the ship, and Sandy had recovered to the point where she should be able to remove the ring without severe risk.

Brawny had recovered from his lethargic spell yesterday, though he barely raised his head when Blaze entered. "Blazing Hooves is back. Still no waking up yet." he said with a tinge of hope in his voice. He took the offered carrots and picked out a smaller one to feed to his bunny friend, who still hadn't left his side.

[Mindfreak]

Blaze puts down the basket next to Brawny.
"Just use your hoof communicator, Sunny. If that can't get them, then neither can I."
He smiles at the bunny.
"So Brawny, how's the rabbit doing?"

Afterwards, and some traversing, Gwynfillion seemed to have lost her vigor for looking for bandersnatches and killing them. It didn't seem as interesting any more to plum abomination, it just smelled, boring. "Hey, dumb paladin. I've become bored, my interest in killing bandersnatches has waned immensely."

He's too busy being dead asleep and adding to his pillow's drool puddle, that there's not much of a subconscious reaction, but his body doesn't seem to be protesting the snuggling.

And then a knock at the door.

She was a little depressed as she was expecting some Sandy wakey wakey time and not a concern about the chemical burns. But she addressed them anyway. "Well, we could take them to the finer hospitals they have in the big cities. I think the Cirrus is in working condition for flight." Or the clinic to give them reason to stay longer around Bridle Shores.

Sunny continued to try to remove it. If it became clear it wouldn't work, or it could cause severe problems, she'd stop and explain.

As she pulled harder and harder and moved the ring further out of position, it became almost impossible to move. Sandy's horn grew burning hot, and the engineer grimaced in his sleep.

If she let go, the ring would snap back into position and his horn would return to normal.

Then she turned back. "Anyway, if ya want this fixed up, ya've come to the right place! I'm Blades, best blacksmith in town, which really isn't sayin' much 'cause the only other one's my apprentice Arvadraa over there. Most places, ya wouldn't be able to find anypony who'd be able to fix this up properly, but I've handled this kind of work before. I'd say a price of about two hundred 'n fifty bits, plus expenses, for it. Deal?"
