Outside with Cody and Thordore, the two men chuckle at Thordore comment of helping the creatures.

The Lost can't be helped, only herded or killed. After all, you already killed one did you not child?"

The man's question is directed at Cody as the other rider now moves toward the three of you. While his hands are empty, you do take note of the large sword across his back and the fact that he does seem a bit menacing. +

"We'll need to take the three of you in for questioning now. Do not resist, it will be help you any."

Victory sighs and walks out to face the two riders. To his friends he says If there's away of healing them it's far beyond the capability of any of us. To the riders he says Greetings, Black armour with spikes and skulls on it is usually a symbol to intimidate others into submission. Is this true of your intentions?

While you few as if you should know something about them, nothing actually comes to mind.

The riders aren't taking back, but they are a bit surprised by Victory's bluntness.
The seem almost irked that Victory would question their intentions as he has.

"Our armor marks us as the riders of the Sapian, that is all. Now surrender your weapons and yourselves."

Feeling that this has drug out long enough, the closer rider draws the sword across his back, to help speed up the process of surrender.

Thordore chuckles, "Do you really think that you can take us by force? If you haven't realized, we outnumber you, and...", Thordore rages draws his axe, elemental furies with fire, and strikes the ground in front of him. "We are not exactly weaklings."

Yes, that dreadful smell is the head of some minor fiend I vanquished in almost a single blow. Mostly luck but the feat remains evident. Smart men would be more hasty in drawing their blades. Victory casually states. if you think this resisting arrest you have no idea.

The riders are faster to react to danger then the three of you. The one still on horseback quickly draws a small crossbow and fires it at Thordore. Meanwhile the one in front of you reaches a hand out towards Vicotry which fires a quick bolt of energy.

Your own counterattacks have quite the effect however. Cody misses his attack, but both Victory and Thordore are able to land powerful blows. Victory's attack comes from an angle unknown to his opponent and kills him where he stands. As his body falls Thordore's own words about taking them alive is heard, as he himself charges the man on horseback. Thordore's axe is able to drop the horse and leave the rider prone underneath it.

Aww, again? Sorry, Thordore. I did warn him though, right? Victory remarks, slightly disappointed that he slayed his opponent before being able to question him. So anyone got rope? he asks Cody and Thordore.

Thordore grabs his hemp rope from his backpack and tosses it towards Victory

Victory grabs the rope and tries to bind the Guard securely. He isn't exactly sure of himself and hopes the other two can see that.

(Apparently Victory Doesn't have to even roll until the guard make an attempt to escape and when that happens, Victory gets a +10 bonus)

Gonna assume you still bind him, but yes checks aren't needed til they try to escape. So roll when you can.

The three of you are able to tie the rider up, in his armor. He still isn't quite awake, but you can assume it'd be best to move him somewhere.

The curiosity of how they knew you were here still weighs on your minds as well.

Right, I can't believe I'm saying this but we need to get these guards off the street. Don't want any more undue attention. I'm uncertain as to what to do with the Horse but it seems you might have the armor you need Cody. he scrutinizes the armour. Maybe with a bit of customization, first

Cody eye's the armour, taking out his sketchbook and comparing his blueprints to it. Hmm, well yes, the spikes could use removal, the fitting could be better, and I still need more advance materials, but this could be a good base for my designs.

Great, now let's seek shelter somewhere. I guess the domicile we've already broken into will have to suffice but I for one would rather encounter this Sapian on my own terms Victory says and then picks up the bound guardsman and head back into the room unless the others have a better idea (or if the guardman in fact proves too heavy which would be a worry).

The armor while ill fitting, still provides enough protection. It's a rather basic breastplate, but none the less it will still protect Cody well enough.

Moving the guard inside is rather painless and quick. Once inside however, you still have the harmless but far from docile occupants.
