Re: Can YOU survive? (IC)
Fear fills the eyes of the old man. Scrambling to take the creature down, he mutters he arcane words and throws a electrical hissing and popping orb at the menacing figure.

Touch attack (1d20+4)[20]
Roll to confirm (1d20+4)[10]
Damage (1d8+5)[13]
Seeing the lack of stopping power that he needed, he lets loose a mild scream while backpedaling as far as he can go into the wall. Slightly shaking he grips his spear and swallows hard, mentally preparing for the oncoming attack.
SpoilerBourbon moves to G35. Bourbon then readies a free action.Last edited by CowMasterTrojan; 2012-03-22 at 11:22 PM.

Re: Can YOU survive? (IC)
Yup... that's the plan...
In fact, the instructor walks into the middle of the fighting and says Ha ha... you all are an interesting group. That is enough fighting for today. If you will carry your dead, I shall show you to your rooms, you'll need your rest for tomorrow... we've quite the group for you all to fight.
You all lvl up... also, anyone who died is alive again... unless they dropped out in which case there is no hope of revival. Post your morning actions once you've finished lvling.Spoiler

Colt spends a good portion of the night repairing himself, though he also spends some time doing "target practice". By morning, he is looking shiny and new, ready for whatever they are planning next.

Bourbon spends the night meditating and drinking Saki. It is an odd site, because he holds his longspear in one hand as he drinks.Last edited by CowMasterTrojan; 2012-04-03 at 12:40 AM.

Re: Can YOU survive? (IC)
On the assumption that everyone else dropped interest... I shall try to continue this.
The Instructor from the previous day comes in, I hope you all are ready for the fight that is lined up for today... as it could put you in the infirmary for quite some time or even kill you... and please try to remember, no free true resurrections to day! He seems cheery... almost too cheery, especially for working in an arena such as this.Last edited by Eric Scott; 2012-04-04 at 09:30 PM.

The messenger runs back to the announcer. They say they're The Middlemen... The announcer smirks. Very well then... it is The Gnoll Savages vs. The Middlemen.

Strolling to the middle of the arena, Vaarth greets the new warriors. Welcome friends, let me give you a hand. He then proceeds to say few things in a different language while waving his hand around. At the end, he lets out an explosion of flames from his hand at the gnolls.

Re: Can YOU survive? (IC)
Almost scurrying, the old man with the big spear follows right behind Vaarth, at his side. Taking a position next to him he holds up a spread out hand, muttering arcane words with a fierce passion. Flames burst from his hand, tying into his comrade's fire.
