[The Succubus]

Marty can't help but notice the large group over there, in the dark corner. He sees the succubus and the four others. He'd never seen a succubus. But he had seen an angel. Er...half-angel dragon thing. So, he was naturally curious! He thought maybe this person knew Prism...it seems she sends a whole lot of things to help him. Such as Shade or Bellan. For that is how Marty is. Marty gets up after telling Shade, ....Maybe she was a lost cause....I just hope she's happy wherever she is. He'll walk to the group of people. He has, long blonde hair that sticks out in various directions. He has dark blue eyes, with dark circles underneath. Giving him a very tired look. He also has two scars, one per cheek, that both face his mouth. He wears black clothes. Black pants, black shirt and coat, and a scarf. He has a black belt with a silver buckle, silver soled boots, and silver cuffs. He approaches the group, He turns to the succubus, You....wait....you're not Prism......

Spreagadh nods, her faint look of wariness, and worry that her plans were going to fail for some reason beyond her knowledge, being replaced with concern for Syren.

"There are rooms here, yes," the Sidhe replies, tossing a large platinum coin to the nearest server, and gesturing for one of the Boabhan to take a position on the succubus's other side, so that she can be caught easily if necessary. "That should pay for one for the day... If you'll follow us, they're right upstairs."

Assuming Elanna indicates agreement in some way, the fae will begin to head upstairs, to the Trog's Second Floor thread.

Elanna leaned against the Boabhan, grateful for the support as she unsteadily got to her feet. As the group carefully escorted her away from the table, she muzzily heard a voice speaking to her.

A young....man?....was asking her about a person called Prism. The poor dear looked almost as bad as she felt, his face betraying a lack of sleep and a shattered mind. She gently cupped his cheek in her palm and whispered softly.

"I'm sorry, my sweet, but I do not know who that is. Perhaps a little later when I feel more like myself, we can talk then?"

Her consciousness rapidly fading, the sidhe almost carried her up the stairs to the room and as soon as her head lay on the pillow, darkness claimed her completely...

And Reinholdt will find her! In her little weasel form, drinking at the bar. Probably not very surprising. Though she does seem to be talking to Angela right now. That's new. The intoxicated mustelid doesn't notice the treasure hunter coming in.

Ah. There she is. Rein swaggers over and slumps into a barstool.
"Hiii Angela. Heeey Ermine, we neeed to talk." He says. Guy practically looks ready to collapse.

[Sneaky Weasel]

"Well, I'll need your help to find my way around this world. Two heads are better than one, eh? If you're willing to come with me, that is." He smiles hopefully at Aeia. She's having an odd effect on him. He's not usually this polite and focused. How odd.

[Gullara]

Aeia ponders it for a moment. Well, she has no idea what to do around here, and he is really cute. This seems like a no brainer. "Sure, that sounds awesome." She says after a moment.

While Bellan is still distracted by the weepy dragon, Sticks appears beside Marty with a rustle of his cloak. The eerie creature smiles a silver smile, his ragged beggar's robe glowing faintly.

"What ails you, friend? A broken heart?" He raises a steel finger and points, grinning. His accent is thick, lilting and vaguely Greco-Roman. "Don't ask, I know the look."

[Artemis97]

A shadow passed over the tavern. A large, dark shape had passed between the windows and the moon outside. Something was moving outside. Something big. Something grey. It floated slowly, steadily coming closer. Those inside may hear an ominous crunching sound. Some near the windows will spot a leathery, bristled visage. Suddenly!

[The Bushranger]

[Q for Quest]

Jack Leveret, standing over by a table with an old man, a magical girl, a living doll and a drow, turns towards the stage (when did that get here? He must not have noticed it before.)

He's nearly entranced by the melody, rabbit ears twitching in time with the strumming of the harp.

The stern look on his face melts, and he reconsiders the drow he'd snubbed earlier. That was rude of him, he'd barely even heard two words from her and already cast judgement. It was... arrogant.

He swallows visibly, nodding in ascent to Jamie. If she wasn't lying about her abilities, he wouldn't stop her from tagging along. And if she was, he'd look after her anyway. She'd make it out of whatever danger might be in that cave even if he didn't.

To Dena, the drow, he makes an attempt at a smile, "Looks like there's a cave full of treasure. Anyone who wants to come with me to find it will get an even share, provided we can find a certain key for this old fellow and get ourselves all out in one piece. Should prove to be a fun time, so who's in?"

Jack looks at the other three, knowing that the youngest one would probably pipe up first. The eavesdropper, who looked like a slightly mad life-size porcelain doll, hadn't said much, but he's interested in her input now.

And the drow... well, he'll have to push past his distaste for arrogant people just this once, assuming that she is in fact arrogant, and not just someone he's misjudged. It's happened before.

Dena looks rather surprised, huh. Not exactly the welcome she had expected. Hell, she hadn't expected an welcome at all. People really were more open around here.

"Well, I'm in. Sounds fun." She declares before offering a hand to Jack. "Dena by the way. Dena Xifara, professional adventurer. Nice meeting you."

"It'll be an Adventure!" Jamie declares with a grin on her face, as she finishes off the last of her Llamaade.

And jumps at the sudden boof!

Meanwhile, it's possible, that Talnissa, Kara, and new friend arrive.

Kara jumps as well. Looks around.

"...oh, the humanatee!"

Indeed they do. At least Talnissa and Kara, though there's no reason to think Pass wouldn't be with them.

Talnissa also jumps, looking rather startled, and then, on seeing what it is, quite confused.

"...Is it just me, or were the streets nowhere near flooded enough to allow that right before we came in?"

Actually, it still isn't flooded. There's a Manatee floating in midair outside. It's a bit confused and wiggling its nose.

[The Bandicoot]

A random NPC yells out "Oh the huge-manitee!" and collapses. Nobody cars though because it's an NPC.

"Excellent! I'm glad you agree." Being stuck in a strange new world with no idea what is going on isn't so bad if you have an attractive companion to help figure things out. At least that's Phineas's opinion on the matter. He grins happily at Aeia, then whirls around at the loud boofing sound, and stares at the flying manatee for a while.
His voice is rather distant as he speaks. "I am very glad that we're going to stick together. Sometimes this place is too weird even for me."

[Gullara]

Aeia looks past him and out the window to see the manatee as well. "Yeah... I think I know what you mean." She just sort of stares blankly for a moment. Craziness.

"Well, I'm sure Bark will be happy you're coming along too." Phineas almost forgot about him, didn't he? It's anyone's guess why she thinks Bark will be happy about anything, let alone dragging Phineas along.

[Lady Serpentine]

"No clue. One moment, I was boarding the chopper to head to a mountain to race down, and the next, I'm here," Hildur says, staring down at her water.

Kinari blinks, looking a bit confused.

"Chopper? I'm familiar with mountain racing, but what do weapons have to do with it? And how exactly does one board such a thing?"

[Devixer]

"...Wha?" Hildur is only more confused. "I'm talking about a helicopter. You know, an air vehicle." It doesn't seem to occur to her that Kinari might not know what a helicopter is.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Well, that certainly makes it clearer you're not talking about a form of cleaver...", Kirani replies, frowning, and looking still more puzzled than Hildur. "But no, I do not know. 'Air vehicle', as a concept, I can accept, but I'm not aware of any examples. What precisely is a helicopter?"

[Devixer]

"It's, ah, a flying vehicle. Uses rotors and engines to push itself off the ground." Hildur gulps down the rest of her water. "You'll have to forgive me, I don't know much about how they work myself."

[Lady Serpentine]

"I see. Sort of, anyway...", Kinari muses, looking rather thoughtful. "But anyway, mountain racing in your world doesn't involve an endurance component, I take it? Part of the challenge where I'm from is being able to climb to the top quickly and still have a reasonable amount of energy left to go back down."

Phineas is like an elephant, in some ways. Namely, he never forgets.
"You know, Bark reminds me of a buddy I had before I died. Big, didn't talk much, little emotion. Except the guy I knew sort of lost control every full moon, but aside from that they're pretty similar." He frowns slightly, lost in thought.

[Devixer]

"No, we go straight up to the top of the mountain, then we race down." Hildur perks up as she talks of racing. Maybe she could find a place where she could snowboard here.

"Thank-" the old man wheezes a bit, "Thank you all for coming to aid me. It is greatly appreciated.Please, don't do anything too reckless; you can get treasure any time, but you only have one life."

"Don't worry, mister. We'll be fine," Jamie says confidently, even as she pays for her meal - and starts twirling her wand between her fingers.

Kara, meanwhile, will try to steer Talnissa and Pass to a corner table well away from the looming herbivore outside.

"Alright then, let's get going before one of us grows some common sense." Jack smiles at the three who agreed to come along, then heads for the door, map and note secured in his pocket.

Assuming the others follow, they can head to the cave, and Harnel's plot thread!

Quiz un-deadtimes and powers up. Power-up space complete . Running diagnostics........All primary systems functioning space as normal. One issue with secondary space repair of left leg. Steam pipe severely under-pressurized. Unable space to move until sufficient pressure is reestablished. the little orange eye swivels, looking around. Query, space is there anyone with sufficient technological knowledge as to space make repairs to my chassis repairs?

[Dark Elf Bard]

An extremely attractive drow lady swishes in the door. She's wearing a revealing shirt, a purple skirt, and a pink bandanna around her long hair, reaching to her thighs. She smiles at everyone she sees, and scurries up to the bar. There are pink and purple flowers in her hair, and one falls off aaas she swishes by Marty.

Marty is temporarily distracted by the drow. He was glad to be, he was staring at Sticks. Who intimidated the little half-elf. Marty picks up the flower and hands it to her, Oh. h-here. S-sorry. M-my fault.

[Dark Elf Bard]

Hey, sweetiepie, are you scared of me? Or why are you stuttering?
She has a kind smiling face. She's slightly put off by the stuttering. Why is this little guy scared?

Er...It's a h-habit. I'm s-sorry... Marty raises an eyebrow when she calls him sweetiepie.
