[Sneaky Weasel]

"Well, in general it takes some time to work magic if I want some specific effect, otherwise it's somewhat random. And it's rather hard to do. But I think I can manage a demonstration for you."
He smiles at Aeia.
"Let's see, the most basic trick would be predicting an action or thought, or minor levitation." He looks around the room, his eyes settling on an Unseelie who seems to be trying to fend off a rather dirty dwarf. He gestures to them.
"See those two? Time to make their day more interesting."
He stares at them, his brow furrowed in concentration. The air above him seems to shimmer faintly. Then the bar-stool Javert is sitting on flies out from under him, in an attempt to send him and the dwarf tumbling to the floor.
"I generally use magic for more constructive purposes, but it's good to have some fun once in a while, don't you agree?" He winks at the dryad.

"Great! It's settled then! It'll be a great adventure with all kinds of lords and ladies coming." Alfred was possibly a rogue, all children were and Sadei... well, she was probably some kind of monster girl. They were always great to have along.

"So shall we set off?" The knight asks.

Alfred just started this adventurer thing, he doesn't even have a character class yet. Either way he nods vigorously at the direction to go.

Viera is very skilled at stealing pants.
It may just be some sort of eldritch superpower magic shenanigans.

However, the second anyone cares to actually pay attention, she seems to be physically rummaging around the hat.
So she'll probably get noticed.

Which the chimera-girl will respond to with a cheery wave before immediately making to bounce back towards Raven!
Depending on Ermine's opinions of pants theft and how drunk she is, this might not be something that works out for Viera.

"Wha?"

The pants theft is noticed! Ermine is, of course, quite surprised to suddenly find someone rummaging about in her hat. She flails about, but is currently in ermine form so can't exactly grab an arm to stop Viera. Not to mention she's drunk, so she just winds up unbalancing herself, tumbling off the chair and onto the floor. The tenacious pirate makes a quick recovery and glares at the running child.

"Stop dat! Dose are... my pants?"

Ermine doesn't remember ever getting pants like those, but she still claims ownership because they were in her hat! The mustelid growls and goes bounding off after Viera. Lucky for the chimera-child, she can't get a gun out and shoot while running like she might've if she was a person. Though she would have been wearing pants in that scenario, so who knows how it would've turned out.

[Chaotic Bob]

A simple pair of pants changes many things.
Truly, they are turning points in the great wheel of history.

Maybe that's why Viera likes them so much.

Either that, or she just finds it funny whenever people start chasing her, yelling about their pants. Seems just as likely.
"Oooh, these are very nice pants! Gotta catch me to get them back though!"

And away bounds the peculiar hybrid girl, skip-hopping over a table along her way.
I wonder how well a drunk ermine can keep up with all the better parts of a fox and rabbit?
The falcon bit doesn't do much for running.

Ermine growls again, baring her teeth again as she bounds after the chimera. The little weasel is quite fast, though she does skid and slide and knock into stuff because of her drunkenness. She simply runs under the table Viera hopped over.

"Come back here!"

She probably won't catch the chimera, though.

As soon as Javert turns off his sexy aura, the mad dwarf turns all his attention back to Angela. He doesn't even say anything to Javert, just clambering back upon his stool and sitting down.

Though if Javert is affected by his stool flying away and falls over, the most likely candidate to be hit is this maddened, grubby dwarf.

Viera tends to give her victims a fighting chance.
At least, insofar as she doesn't play dirty (knocking over chairs), or use eldritch space-warping shenanigans.

She just runs, and bounds, and hops.

Ermine is fully allowed to not follow these rules, of course.
Technically, the chimera is just going to run in circles around the tavern until the pirate-weasel-drunkard either catches up, does something clever, or gives up.

"But this is more fuuuun. It's good exercise! And like tag!"

Ermine runs into a stool for the third time, growling. This isn't fun at all! It's just headache-inducing! She shakes her head rapidly and stops chasing Viera.

"Screw dis. Avast, ye mangy monster, 'r I'll stop ye fer good!"

The pirate reaches into her hat and takes a gun out of it! The flintlock pistol is weasel-sized, and the way the little mustelid grips it would be adorable if it weren't a dangerous and loaded weapon aimed at a baby chimera. Apparently she really likes that pair of pants. Or is too drunk and irritated to think this through.

[Chaotic Bob]

That would...technically lean towards the clever category? Maybe?
Although drunkenly shooting a pistol in a bar...sounds kind of like a bad idea.

Viera gives a little blink and skids to a stop behind another table.
"That probably isn't a net gun, is it?"
Net guns were a fun addition to tag she faced once. Made things very exciting.

This doesn't look like one of those.
"How abooout, I put the pants right here, if you put the boom stick away?"

Hmmm...

Godling is dead-timed.

For the sake of argument we'll say that's enough to encourage Raven out from under her table-fort. And what does she spy as soon as she's clear?

A weasel aiming a tiny gun at her sibling!

Now... The chimeras are pretty resilient provided that a weapon hasn't been properly enhanced to deal with Far-Things. But Raven isn't terribly keen on anyone threatening her siblings.

The weasel is more or less normal weasel sized, right?

Because if so Ermine may suddenly find herself getting punted across the room. Raven really isn't nearly as friendly as Viera...

Ermine nods her consent to Viera. Yes! That sounds like a swell ide- meep!

With a startled squeak, Ermine is punted! The pistol goes flying randomly, luckily not going off in someone's face, and the little mustelid whams into a wall. Ouch.

The pirate lays there for a moment, stunned, before jumping to her feet. She's heavily bruised, since weasels are not something that are meant to be punted, and is now furious as well as drunk. She swears like the sailor she is and starts rummaging around in her hat once more.

[Chaotic Bob]

Oh boy, this isn't really what she wanted to have happen.

Viera eeps and runs off to make sure Ermine is actually okay, rage or no.
"She wasn't going to hurt me, sis! I just didn't want anyone else getting hurt!"
Now the chimera girl just looks kind of worried, which isn't a look she's fond of.

"Hey, weasel lady, are you okay?"

[Hattish Thing]

Javert lets the dwarf sit down and then...chair is flying...eep! Javert hits his head on the bar before flying to the floor and landing wrong on his wrist. Javert is having a bad day...he came here and then met some monster child, met a goddess (Which wasn't that bad all things considered), and then was accosted by a dwarf....All he's trying to do is woo Angela. Yet he continually gets interrupted...which can grate on someone's nerves. Javert stands up. His head is bleeding a little on the side where he hit the side of the bar. "Who did that...you. With the red hair. Bad move...I'm having a bad enough time here trying to get a date." Javert moves over to the man sitting with the rather curvaceous dryad. She was pretty....eh. He never was too into fey. His wraith form bleeds out through his hand. Now his right hand becomes black and almost see-through. It's a hand made of wispy shadow. The middle finger is very long and crimson red. It glows a little. His wisp hand is clawed. "You...apologize or face the consequences." Javert looks at the dryad and nods his head a little. "I have nothing against you. I politely request that you move to the side for a second while we resolve this madame."

Raven messed up!

She looks rather sheepish at the chiding from her sibling and just kind of...

Hides.

Uhh...

Hiding apparently means ceasing to exist.

No doubt she's sulking somewhere perpendicular to reality.

Maybe she should apologize...?

Aeia laughs uproariously as Javert hits the floor. Yes, if his goal was impressing the girl it certainly worked. "Too funny."

By the time Javert makes his way over, however, she's sobered up and looks positively innocent. "What do you mean? We were just sitting here and waiting for our drinks." She folds her hands together between her legs and tilts her head slightly as she looks up at him. How could anyone believe she's lying?

"Shipshape."

Ermine says this quite viciously, indicating she is not fine at all! She takes her paw out of her hat, holding what looks to be a small rock in it. It... smells faintly of mint?

The pirate looks around, glaring.

"Who the hell did that? Who kicked me?!"

[Chaotic Bob]

"How about you sit your furry booty down over there and I'll go find out, 'kay? 'Kay!"
Viera slides a chair from Over There to Over Here, points vigorously for Ermine to sit down, and then disapoofs!

A flurry of excited, manic, and possibly slightly insane activity, as always!

Now, off to go hunt down her chicken-butt sister in Parallel Space Land.
She's always a something-butt, isn't she?
"Raaaaaveeeeeeen!"

More like sheepish-butt.

Raven feels bad because she thinks she just made the situation worse. Which she basically did.

Finding her isn't terrible hard for someone who knows where to look. Hiding out in the space between moments and the moment between spaces. It's a rather fiddly and mostly uninteresting place, really. But very good for pouncing on someone from.

"Go away," Raven replies, huddling into a tighter ball of sad. "I'll just make everything worse like I always do."

Angela undeadtimes and looks around. She's about to tell Javert to lighten up and leave the couple alone, when pantsing (but not De-Pantsing) shenanigans catch her attention. She gets off her stool and saunters over, offering the pirate an amicable smile. Excuse me, are you Ermine?

[Chaotic Bob]

It sure is convenient that as a fellow chimera, Viera can take some good guesses at finding Raven's little hidey places!
Must be hard to be one of those squishy people that can't walk out of reality views now and then.

As a random note, she has brought the incredibly snazzy pants along with her, clutched in one hand.
The other hand is busily placed on...whatever counts as a hip at the moment.
Her form got kind of twitchy somewhere.
Can't decide on squishy-humany or spiffy-animaly.

Anyway, she'll sternly bounce over to Raven and peeeeeer down at her for a good moment or two.
"Don't be a pouty-butt. You just made a silly mistake.
I make silly mistakes all the time!"
One could almost say, she does them on purpose.
But does that really make them mistakes anymore?
"Weasel lady says she's okay, sooooooo~
You can just apologize and everything will be a-okay! No harm no foulsies."

Ermine blinks, unsure of what exactly to do. She hesitantly puts the rock back into her hat and scowls. She doesn't sit down like Viera bid her to, however.

The pirate looks up at Angela with unclear eyes. She's still a bit confused and stunned, and drunk of course.

"Arrr, aye, dat be me."

[Rebonack]

Sort of makes one wonder how the chimeras see each other.

It isn't as though their perceptions are limited like those of the Flatlanders. So there's a good chance they can perceive all possible variations of their siblings at once. Which would no doubt be really odd.

Anywho!

Raven shifts uncomfortably.

"She said she was alright?" she asks hesitantly. There's a suspicion that the 'all fine' comment may have been sarcastic. Though she isn't totally sure...

"Alright..."

And with a hop, skip, and a bit of geometrically impossible moon-walking Raven is back in the tavern!

And looking very sheepish.

It's so good to finally meet you! Angela offers Ermine a hand. I'm Angela Vulpan. Reinholdt and I are friends and he's told me a little bit about you.

Viera slides riiiiight along behind her sibling, sticking nearby as moral support!
And possibly a Bearer-of-Silly-Big-Grins-on-Her-Face.

Raven's gonna make everything a-okay! Weee!

The chimera girl is practically definitely bouncing at the very thought of her sister solving this little conundrum, and has at some point decided on her humanoid (but bunny-eared) form, with her newest pants tied around her neck, cape-style as always.

"You've got this, sis!"

Ermine's tail twitches around and she shakes Angela's hand with a paw.

"Arrr, okay. Pleashed ta meet ye."

She then notices Raven and Viera returning from wherever they came.

"Hey! Give dat back now!"

The pirate raises her lip to expose her fangs, but is mostly show at this point. She's tired and drunk and hurt and doesn't want to pursue chimeras anymore. But she does still want the pants back.

[Sneaky Weasel]

Phineas keeps a totally strait face as he meets Javert's gaze. His mouth gives a slight twitch as he sees the furious look on the faerie's face, but it's probably just your imagination. He makes a show of turning around and peering at the other patrons before adopting a look of injured innocence.
"Who, me? It's not my fault if you're clumsy enough to trip over your own chair. Now if you'll excuse me, sir, I was just having a private conversation with the lady here. Kindly leave us be, wont you?"
He nods jovially at him and turns back to Aeia, as if expecting Javert to simply drop the matter.

Raven glances at Angela.

There's that icky feeling again.

Said icky feeling is making her even more nervious than she would be otherwise. Best to get this over with quickly and then retreat to her table-fort again for protection.

She doodles with her toe on the ground for a few moments and then bows awkwardly to the weasel.

"I'm sorry I kicked you I thought you were going to shoot my sister please forgive me I'm sorry!"

...

Flee!

Ew, she does feel kinda icky, now that Viera is thinking about it...
Which she definitely isn't doing instead of thinking about Ermine asking for her pants back.

That'd be avoidance, which is something she told Raven to not do!
Can't be hypocritical, can we?

"Byebye!"

The apology was made, everything is obviously right with the world, no need for the two chimeras to be aaaaanywhere over there. Near the funny feeling/smelling lady or the drunkard-weasel-pirate.

[Hattish Thing]

Javert looks at the pretty dryad again, "I do not accuse you. Even if it was you I certainly wouldn't confront such a pretty woman. You certainly are a beautiful woman as well. It's sad that we have to meet on such an unpleasant of ways. Maybe we can meet later? Unless you'd rather stay with the oddball human..." There. Take his girl. That would piss the idiot off without even hurting him! What a concept! Javert now turns his chiseled face toward Phineas. He sneers, "I can tell it was you. I can sense auras. Your magic shows up in my vision. I can see it. You did that. Knocked me out of my chair. Now. Apologize before things have to get violent. You hear?"

[Gullara]

"I kinda like this oddball human. He's cute. Now how 'bout you leave." Aeia stands and tries to poke him in the chest and exert enough force to make it clear she wants him to back up. "We kinda want to get back to our chat." She still maintains her pleasant demeanor.
