I sorta kinda need a villain to be available to be thwarted as the Justice Crew's first thwarted villain so Gamma Girl can prove that what she says is true.
If that isn't too much to ask.
I didn't expect heroes to be so...stubborn.

If I had the spoons, I'd totally have Salixtra (aka Willow Warwick) organize the villain team and lead them along on her puppet strings until it all fell apart disastrously. Damn lack of spoons.

In the meantime, I'm trying to bully tektek into letting me make a supervillain costume. It's not working out well. I know I should just go to Hero Generator, but I haaaate Hero Generator!

I debated heavily with myself over whether to give her a more sensible outfit, but eventually the fanservice side won over. And even that's tamer then it could be. My original idea was to have her run around in a lab coat over only lingerie. Because that is a totally logical thing to wear when you are in a laboratory working with dangerous chemicals.
"I'm a supervillainess! I don't need to obey lab safety rules!"

The fact that she's a Dominator just serves to make it more hilarious(ly inappropriate).

Sadly, fanservice options for males are lacking, or Mister Marble would be running around in an equally ridiculous outfit.

On Pale Speech Colours

I've noticed a lot of people using very pale colours for their character's speech. I'm not a fan. If I can't read your character's speech without highlighting it, I'm unlikely to read it at all, which means I'm unlikely to roleplay with that character. Since I can only roleplay with a small percentage of the characters in the Nexus anyway, this probably won't affect you at all. But since I'm unlikely to be the only person who feels this way, you are probably limiting that characters potential interactions when you make players work harder to read their dialogue.

Of course, it's still your choice whether to keep using that colour or not. Just be aware that it is not reader-friendly.

And it's kinds hard to keep track of everyone else.

We needed six more after Beans' character, and we've only gotten Hipho's dinosaur, Ivaz, Noodle's necromancer, and my pyrokinetic who are actually on the team, though others have been discussed as possible opponents in other contexts, so unless I've misunderstood, we do, yes.

It sounds like the villain team needs an IC and OOC leader, as well as a theme and goal. "Stop evildoers!" is a fine theme for a team of superheroes, but a team of supervillains needs something more than "Stop good-doers!" Something they believe they are doing for the Greater Good.

If there was a team devoted to ending magic in the Nexus, Salixtra would join such a team. I just know from experience that I'm not the right player to form and lead it.

Well if I think of supervillians I think of the Batman way. You know each villian with his own backstory. They do something eveil due to their background and a superhero or two go to stop them.

The only way the villians make a team is to beat the good.

They don't necessarily need a unifying goal, as such. They could, for example, just have teamed up on the basis of mutual assistance, where if they help the others achieve their goals, the others help them do the same. Or, as Zefir said, because they're all hunted by the same group.

In all honesty, this would be the only reason Ivaz would team up with anybody.

Also, ending magic is kind of a bad idea for this particular group's goal, because that gets every mage in the Nexus on them as soon as it's found out (and good luck keeping your base scry-proofed without using magic), which, shortly thereafter, leads to a bunch of dustpiles, ashclouds, and mushy spots which used to be supervillains.
