Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Speaking of making an entrance, I'm just waiting for RavenGirl to get this show on the road. I mean, I'm not exactly in any position of authority.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
It's only the afternoon. There will be games at that time in the Dancing Girl, but both that and The Blue LIly will get a lot rowdier in the evening proper.
And I'm sorry, Tylerb, but as a loyal guardsman, you'll have to wait the Wheel Weaves as the Wheel Wills... (You will hate me by the time I've said this a few more times )Last edited by al'Lan Mandrag; 2012-03-21 at 04:54 PM.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Shows how good my close reading is sometimes! I missed the link for the IC thread completely. Wait, an Aes Sedai should never admit that.
*handwaves something about wisdom consisting of seeing how the land lies before deciding to act*
(Sorry tyler!)
First RP problem! I can't see a way out of Anyanna, being an ex-noble initiate, wanting to stay at the Setting Sun rather than the Blue Lily.
I'm tempted to write something about bad directions and then a cart spilling melons, closing the road, but then I realised... that's the DM's perogative ;)Last edited by RavenGirl; 2012-03-21 at 05:34 PM.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
It's the low side of average (slightly lower than Blue Lily), it just attracts the rowdier kind of person, who wants to drink and gamble.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Blue Lily then, Ardent prefers classier establishments. Probably alternating between the various gambling dens available so as to not overextend his welcome at any of them.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Leilanna's composure roll to try and embrace Saidar. I figured I'd put it here rather than double posting

@Indeed It Is: Luran was bumping into Oss ... sure, it's a bit ta'veren-ish in nature, but we're heroes, right?

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
So I may have foolishly listed my characters name as Beredin previously, that was in correct. It is actually Berin. Thats the problem with having two characters with such similar names.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Too many years of past tense loving English teachers has rendered me unable to write in the present tense for more than two consecutive sentences.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Okay ... if the Ogier doesn't respond to Luran soon, I suppose I should just continue on to one of the Inns (and what do you know, the Blue Lily looks like a great option!).

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
By the way al'Lan, I've assumed that since Leilanna was already in the bar, she's already organised room etc for the night, at the same price as the rest of the travelers are being quoted, is that Ok?

Neo Leviathan, yeah that's fine. (6sp for room, 3sp for food, 1sp for stabling if you need it)

Questing Beast: I'm pretty sure the Ogier is out in a street somewhere with Luran, he isn't actually at any of the inns.

Feeling a bit left alone in my little corner here, but whatever. I guess nobody cares too much about the Illianer dandy, not yet anyway.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Positively fantasterific :)
And now.. lets see if the two Wilders upstairs have picked up on your channeling....
Hrm. Ok, there don't seem to be any specific rules for picking up on channelers holding the power (other than looking at them), though the books make it clear that you can (at least sometimes) sense someone holding the power but not actively channeling.
Raven, what did you want to do in this case? I'm happy to hold off detecting until/unless you actually channel something :)Last edited by Kittenwolf; 2012-03-27 at 08:18 PM.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
If Darkspawn can pick up on channellers embracing, I don't see why other channellers shouldn't be able to :)

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Neo Leviathan: Yeah you can feel if someone channels, and I'm pretty sure that you can feel if anyone is simply holding the source, in fact you should be able to feel a channeller even if she isn't holding the source (according to Moiraine in New Spring)
