One of the first questions we got from the PAs upon moving into the dorms here was sexual orientation. I answered, "I'm asexual. Like, I don't like guys or girls, not like I reproduce by budding. But I want to be able to bud. Imagine more of me. That would be neat."

On the one hand, I'm glad French has different words for asexual reproduction (asexué) and asexual orientation (asexuel).
On the other hand, those words sound similar enough that I'm sure most people don't know there's a difference. They might look a little horrified if I said I was asexual, but that's understandable, I don't want to see more of myself either.

Knowing how American English tends to go, I wouldn't be surprised if the "L" gets mispronounced often. That'd get confusing quickly...

Asexuated doesn't appear to be a word according to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, and they made an entire video explaining why Okay is Okay. So I don't think it is. Sorry. T_T
