Adorable and funny. Not much else I can say in terms of my overall opinion. That black and white film at the beginning was a little cliche, but it made me laugh. I'm a little disappointed that the muscular pegasus hasn't prompted more references to the Space Mutiny episode of MST3K. Similarly, I'm not ashamed to say that the anemometer scene made me think of the scouter meme.

And I just wanted to hug Fluttershy when she started crying. On the other hoof, her training montage was pretty awesome.

That is *SO* true! My daughter never watches the mindless little kid shows. She likes watching the 'toons with good writing like MLP:FiM, Transformers Prime, and Batman the Animated series.
