also due to peer contribution there will be teleporting dinosaurs. basically dragons from the Dragon Riders of Pern series reflavored to pterodactyls. they will be the mounts for the Phoenix Guard, the prince's personal body guards, and there are seven of them due to symbolism requirements.

...I fully expect this story to have the same awesomness density as Axe Cop. Bonus points if the pterodactyls have guns that shoot tornadoes of bullets and tiny unicorns.

Once I move, I will probably room with someone I don't even know, at least in the beginning. We're talking about a friend of a friend of a friend here (no, not exaggerating), so I've got a pretty good idea of what this guy is like. My worry is slowly diminishing because I've got plenty of people to contact as "character references", if you will. It's a pretty safe bet I won't wake up one morning missing a few kidneys.

Overall, rooming with a stranger is something I never envisioned myself doing. Outside of college dorms (where that seems to be the norm), has anyone else here ever roomed with someone they didn't previously know?

I have a bunch of stories that I would like to share. I think the main one is the one where I started receiving text messages from an unknown number. Apparently, this nice man has seen pictures of me somewhere on the internet and was so impressed by my beauty () and striking, feminine looks that he had to look me up on the yellow pages and tell me.
So we talk a bit, and he is somewhere in the genderloop (referring to himself as a crossdresser) who thinks I should do a lot of drag with him and who wants to buy me fabulous dresses so he can help me reach my potential.
Aside from the inherent creepiness that is strangers contacting you because they think you should dress up with them, I am mostly worried about the strong element of gift giving he keeps emphasizing. I never give gifts lightly, and I don't think I can receive them lightly either.
I am of course very flattered too, and as soon as he's been cleared by security, I am sure it will be interesting and maybe a friendship. (cleared by security means meeting him a few times in public in daylight and getting a last name from him.)

The other stories are mostly about dating young men in very tight shorts and how easy it is to impress them with kisses and pizza. Spring has certainly sprung.

when pressurizing whipped cream, shaking too much settles it, not enough doesn't whip it at all. And despite consistency issues, chocolate whip is great.

1-17 stir sticks in a whipper nozzle makes a mess. 18+ stir sticks makes a shotgun.

Extra CO₂ cartridges will not add more force. However, thrusting the whopper while engaging the trigger adds a disproportionate amount of distance to the first 1.5 seconds of whipped cream dispensed.

Really cold/refrigerated whipped cream will melt almost immediately on skin. Fresh, not-yet-refrigerated whipped cream will last a lot longer.

While syrups are really sticky, whipped cream flavored with said syrup is no stickier than regular whipped cream.

Caramel dispensed from those little drippy bottles is THE. WORST. Projectile in a food fight. Just the right (wrong) mix of fluid and solid that it does not go where any understanding of physics or fluid dynamics would suggest. Hit the ceiling, hit the floor, hit me, but the guy I was shooting? Immaculate.

Related; caramel in its original packaging (a long, maybe three inch diameter thick cellophane/plastic tube, nonrigid) qualifies as "lethal force" in food fights. And can cause concussions.
