I suppose that Hawaii is right. However as Portugal has proved aggressive I would still like to know Russia's position. After all the coalition becomes much less effective if Portugal does something major, and we cannot do anything due to Russia's defensive alliance. As such I would like to know of any potential difficulties in advance so I can judge how effective this is likely to be.

Basically will the judgment of the coalition override any prior alliances, or will prior alliances take precedence?

The Mongolian Khan expresses his utter surprise at this announcement, but calls on the PRA to send troops to reinforce him if this is the case. Be warned that the People's Republic has a history of turning on its allies. When the moved to intervene in the African conflict between Saloa and Madagascar, they first blockaded Saloa, and in fact promised Madagascar their support. And then promptly attacked Madagascar in coordination with the Saloans. Their own allies in the Caribbean were completely lost when the Americans declined to send any forces to assist them. Simply put if the Americans offer you assistance, watch your backs.

The DUS would be quite pleased to get their national shards back. They probably wouldn't be willing to ally with you, since you after all took them in the first place, but they wouldn't continue the war.

But rather than withdrawing to resupply as expected the PRA commanders instead continued to send wave after wave of undersupplied and already wounded troops at the DUS fortifications. Worn down under a sea of corpses the DUS lines eventually broke and the red tide poured forward to the Pacific coast, nominally still under the control of Hawaii.

A sea of corpses. And PRA just returned everything they gained by sacrificing their undersupplied and wounded troops back to DUS. In a war that was started, due to suspicions, that Canadians were infiltrating the high echelons of the PRA power. Heck, when last push was required to take out Canada, PRA troops suddenly got orders to stay home and fortify. DUS. The ally of PRA’s worst enemy - Canada.

Oh, and PRA is sending their Shards to aid some guys in Asia and apparently their military to assist Mongolian Khanate. And I suspect their MIL will be working with Canada this EoT.

I think this is the moment, when the public uprising or military coup puts the ruling party against the wall.

Edit: Seriously, if I order my troops to march underwater to conquer the Kingdom of Neptune, I expect they would mutiny. And that still makes more sense then PRA foreign policy.

I support the building our strength option. As to ESP, we have a great number of agents at the moment. We will attempt to keep everyone informed of major events. We will probably alternate between building our agents and our military so be aware that we will likely not be too major a military power in the near future. Of course our discreet support through our agents should make up for that.

President William Jefferson opened the door to the oval office, inviting the vice-president and the rest of his Cabinet into the room. The party seated themselves on the simple wooden chairs in the middle of the room. Normally there would be an exchange of pleasantries at this point, but today all were silent.

There was a palatable mood in the air, but William was not quite sure what it was. A bit put off, he nonetheless began with a smile;

"Anything new for today's agenda?"

Again, silence. The assembled ministers looked around the room nervously, none wanting to be the first to speak. After the silence had gone on far too long, the vice president spoke up.

"Well... there is something sir..."

"What is it?" William said, more than a little distressed, thinking something dreadful had happened.

"The party... has lost it's faith in you."

"What do you mean?"

"We no longer believe you are the best candidate for President."

"But... I've dedicated my life to this party! Do you know how much money I've given to the party, how hard I worked to rise up the ranks?"

"No one is questioning your loyalty. Or your contribution to the party. As a public speaker, you were our best, but as a policy maker? I think the facts speak for themselves."

"Throughout your four years in office, you have managed to completely stall all national growth, and seriously damaged our relations with most of the nations of the world."

Representatives from all factions, barring the Grim, are invited to a press conference held by High Priest Tochtli. After all arrive, he begins to speak.

"For five years, the priests of the Hegemony have labored in the pursuit of a vision. A vision of the Gods' might made manifest on this earth. And, guided by their hands, we have succeeded. Built upon the frame of one of our most powerful Chapels, we have constructed a cannon the likes of which has never been seen before. Using years-worth of harvest from our Pits, we have lined it with an assembly of Kokytium and Styxium, which work together to propel the multi-ton slug through the launch rail and into whatever forces dare to oppose the Hegemony. The Gods' will be done."

The unveiling ends abruptly, with little fanfare. The priests running it all seem to not want to dishonor the gods by turning their gift into too much of a publicity stunt. It's somewhat obvious that the ceremony was not their choice to hold, instead being an order handed down from the King himself.

The native tribes of the region typically oppose my arrival until they have been properly converted by my priests. Having troops deployed ensures the safety of both new converts as well as the missionaries. If Russia would prefer it, I would be willing to aid in the pacification of the dissenters instead.

We've heard that you plan on getting rid of us due to our Ultimatium. We have a question to you. Why would we be stupid enough to commit another atrocity on them? Would it not make more sense to scare them into surrender? We are withdrawing from there, it's far to warm for our tastes, but felt that by graphicly describing what could happen, they might just roll over to the EoTRS. Fear is another weapon of war, and we employed it there. If you have issues about us going after them, speak it. We will just go after their 'armed forces', and any millita groups that form from the 'Civilian' population afterwards. Then we will hand them over to the goverment, who will brutaly supress them.

I also support the elimination of the Grim. Their actions are reprehensible. They are mercenaries who have no connection with either side, and the barbaric acts they have committed are unfounded. It would be another matter if the Kushan had attacked them using such brutal tactics beforehand, but that is not the case.

As for Spain, I will invite them into this organization. I was unsure of their membership because the initial conversations of this group began with Canada, myself, Spain, and Alaska, and I didn't know if they had been intentionally dropped or just forgotten.
