    and while not technically undead, I would consider them as such

    The concept (in case you couldn't tell) was that the meathook would make undead creatures that would make more meathooks.

    I know, be epic level, kill nerull (who i consider undead) put him on the meathook, and I think all deitys can make magic items. So there ye go :D

    Nerull, Vecna, Doresain, Orcus, Atropos...

    Three deities, a demon prince, and an elder evil. All of them are (or at least could be) undead.
