Gerald looks up the chute.

Sighing, he grabs a screwdriver and begins slamming the rubber end against the walls, listening and getting more irate.
"Just wanted to get patched up and all, but nooo, muking catlady has to seal me in a judged pit with unblinking metal bastards..."
He glares back at them, anger rising further.
"Yes, you! You muking chunks of scrap don't have anything better to do that annoy me? Get out or get me a bowl of water big enough for a remoraid hatchling and some food good for sick fish! I have to take care of him or he dies, you heaps!"

[Arcran]

"Again!" Aquilla turns around and tries again, while Arte brings the arrow flying back the other way at them.

Aquilla misses once again; this time to be hit by in a return blow by the Copycat, the knife colliding with the bird with a flash of light, blinding you for an instant. The bird falls to the ground, unmoving.

Your attack makes the other Copycat fade away.

Paul follows along after Romeo.

Come on out of there, Copycat or Copycat-like being.

Paul sends out Creep.

If whatever is in there doesn't come out willingly, be ready to tie it up, pal. We'll hold onto it and get either some answers or perhaps a bargaining chip to have Gerald released.

Romeo walks in, ignoring all the dolls. He pokes the shape where her butt would be.

Is he okay? One's real! And she pulled a knife on Aquilla! Kill her! No, she's probably stronger than you. Call him back. Well duh! Be diplomatic. You can't fight her. Aait, you could...no, that won't work. She took out Aquilla easily and that won't work much better. Peace. You don't want to fight.

She recalls Aquilla and takes a step back to the wall, hands up and arrow having returned to its sheath. "I don't want to fight you." If Copycat makes a move for her with the knife, Artemis phases through the wall before running.

[Arcran]

The two Magnemite float away, actually going through the ceiling. A few seconds later they come back with a large Magikarp on a platter. It is obviously dead.

Paul follows along after Romeo.

As you enter the room a Light Screen shuts you off. Some of the dolls begin to float around, eyes glowing maliciously.

Romeo walks in, ignoring all the dolls. He pokes the shape where her butt would be.

'Found you!'

As you poke the but, the covers fly back to reveal a black humanoid Pokemon. It grabs you, pulls you down, and kisses you passionately, causing you to fall asleep as you fall on top of it.

For some reason your Pokeball will not return Aquilla. When you click the button it just clicks right back at you.

The Copycat stops walking and just stares at you. Then she grins as she walks over to Aquilla, lifts the knife high, and starts stabbing the bird repeatedly, blood spurting everywhere.

Ethan chases after the Paul and Romeo, Ollie at his heals. Ollie use Odor Slueth.

"Oh **** no."
Burn. Suffer. Kill. Pain. Rip. Rend. Torture. Gut. Slit. Tear. Every painful actuon imaginable went through Artemis's mind as she went for the next attack. She offered peace and the bitch stabs Aquilla to death. Nobody crosses Artemis Frerin and gets away free. Paul would get his too one day, but later.
"I played your Judged game! Are you happy now!?"

All right Buck, we're trying very hard not to kill anyone here. Just rough it up so we can go and save Romeo from his tendency to get smacked around by chicks of all species.

Buck launches forward with a crushing Headbutt.

"Huh...nod yes or shake no, are you willing to be nice if I just take care of my pokemon? Can bring me things to fix up if you want, just want to not hurt things, honestly. All I want is Sparky and to make sure Joe lives and gets healthy right now."

Ethan chases after the Paul and Romeo, Ollie at his heals. Ollie use Odor Slueth.

You can see the others in the room, but the Light Screen keeps you from entering. You see Buck slams into the Jynx with his head, almost dropping it. It staggers backwards, falling off the bed in shock.

The delivery man runs up behind you, breathing heavily. "We should stick together," he says simply.

The Headbutt slams into the Jynx, causing it to cry out in pain as it is launched over the bed to slam into the far wall. It seems to dazed to act this turn.

One Magnemite flies up through the cieling at your words, coming back a few seconds later with a sticky note attached to his eye. If you choose to read it, it reads as follows in plain, typed letters.

Give up the game and you can have some help.

He leans back, pulls a box cutter out, and takes a small slice out of the karp experimentally.
"I withdraw my accidental participation, so long as it means only I and my 'mon are out."

Paul looks into the eyes of the Jynx.

You lose your link with Hardcase, causing him to squirm, only to gain one with the Jynx. It doens't seem hostile; quite the opposite in fact. She has a strange fascination with Romeo, and looks at you with newfound interest when she finds you in her mind.

Hello handsome, you hear in your mind. But there's also another voice, one egging her to kiss you, take you out of the game.

Sh*t! He's in her mind! HE'S IN HER MIND! you hear a voice almost shouting.

She pulls Aquilla towards her. Calm down Artemis. "Aquilla? Please, say something." She starts to tear up.

Your hands reach for Aquilla... But pass right through, not even touching the bird. The Light Screen by the door fades.

The delivery man seems about to say something, but as soon as you say "I give up." you feel yourself pulled by some force, only to dissapear by a table, sitting in a comfortable seat. Food is arrayed around it, but no seats are taken. A small placard sits at your place, saying "Ethan."

Ollie is sitting by your side. You can see Primal, sedated, snoozing in a cage behind you. Aquilla is also there, sitting on a small ledge, preening himself.

"Congratutlations, first winner!" you hear, a portly man walking in. "You won!"

[Arcran]

"I wasn't playing to start. Wanted to make sure the only people I have at all in life aside from Sparky were safe. Don't know how to, well...play. At all. Told you that."
He leans back, pulls a box cutter out, and takes a small slice out of the karp experimentally.

As soon as you say that, you dissapear, only to reappear at a long table. Ethan is already there, and a fat man had just walked in.

"Oh, and we have a second winner!" he shouts jubilantly.

You can see Joe swimming feebly in a tank in the corner. Sparky is on your shoulder.

"Wait, what?" But she saw him! Probably an illusion though. Half the things in this Arceusless house have been tricks, why not fake a death while we're at it? She tries to open Aquilla's ball and call him out. Please let it have been a trick. If not, she had some searching to do. He may not be there, but he was somewhere.

And whose to say this isn't still part of the game? Ethan is somewhat confused with the change in scenery but returns Primal as a test of the authenticity.

Paul, barely paying attention due to the clamor of noise in the head of the Jynx, unravels and returns Hardcase.

Magnificent creature. And yet it would seem that where I saw you as an escalation of Copycat's plans, you were in fact going off script and ad-libbing a bit. Copycat, I seem to have had a peek behind your proverbial curtain, only less creepy than that actually sounds. Let's see how far back we can lift it.

Jynx dear, would you mind pointing out the exit from this funhouse for me? Or telling me just how one manages to win this nutty game?

He puts the box cutter away, and goes over to check on Joe.
"Sniper Joe, how're you holding up?"
